Dad's loves were his time around a bonfire smoking cigars with family and friends, hunting, fishing, clam digging, mushroom hunting, and woodcutting. He took great pride in his garden and truly enjoyed the mountains. Dad would say he was a simple man; "never had much in worldly possessions and didn't have nothing worth leaving to anyone." But those who knew him and loved him say he was one of the richest men we ever knew. His love for his family and the love we all have for him shines brighter than any amount of gold a man could store up.
A celebration of Dad's life will be held April 25th, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Nile Valley Community Church, Hwy 410, 18 miles W. of Naches.
A special thanks to the staff at Summitview Living Care for their kindness.
