Marie Louise Huntley, age 96 of
Bellingham, born in Vancouver, B.C. on May 2, 1907
to Pete and Clara Comeau. She was
death in 1997.
Marie was a member of Assumption
Church, Catholic Daughters of America,
St. Joseph Auxiliary, and a volunteer
for St. Joseph Hospital. She worked at
JC Penney for many years and after
retirement, worked for Good Earth
Nutrition.
Marie is survived by her son Richard,
wife Pat; her sister Laurie McPeherson
of California; 4 grandsons Gilbert,
wife Dar; Richard Jr, wife Donna;
Robert, wife Jyl; John, wife Tanna, all
of Whatcom County; 10 Great
Grandchildren Jared, Chad, Kevin,
Terra, Dakota, Jesse, Jake, Kesha,
Jeremy, and Josh; and 3 Great-Great
Grandsons Kaleb, Hayden, and Kyler.
A visitation will be held at Westford
Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 15
from 12 – 5 p.m. Funeral Services will
be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October
16 at Assumption Church, with Father
Frank Schuster officiating. Please
make memorials to Assumption School or
your favorite charity.
Shirley Ann Osborn
12/16/1922 - 11/10/2004
Shirley Ann Osborn, loving wife of
Henry Osborn (deceased) born in Fergus Falls, MN. In 1924 her
family moved to Bellingham where she
lived for most of her life. She
graduated from Bellingham High in 1941
and for the next four years she worked
at the paper mill run by Puget Sound
Pulp & Timber Co. It was during this
time that she met and fell in love with
Henry Osborn, who she Cemetery.
Kang Soon Lee
5/25/1935 - 11/15/2004
Kang Soon Lee, age 69, born May 25, 1935 in Soeul,
Korea. She was an active member of the
Korean Congregation of Jehovah’s
Witnessess of Surrey, B.C. She enjoyed
most of all helping people learn about
the bible. Kang Soon loved to cook,
travel, garden, and many outdoor
activities; she especially enjoyed the
ocean.
She is survived by her husband Sang
Yong Lee of Blaine; son Chol (Cindy)
Lee of Bellingham; son Young (Lisa) Lee
of Bellingham; son Jai Lee of Blaine;
daughter UnJoo (Tim) Shepperd of
Bellingham; granddaughters Nicole,
Bridget, Keturah, and Taryn; and
grandsons Jaison, Zachary, Spencer, and
Emerson.
A Memorial Service will be held at the
Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses,
1525 Electric Avenue, on Friday,
November 26th at 7 PM.
Allen William McNeill
7/12/1912 - 11/17/2004
Allen W. McNeill, age 92, born July 12, 1912 in New
Westminster, B.C to Hugh and Emma
McNeill. Allen moved to Tacoma with
his parents at the age of 5. Later he
moved to Bellingham where he attended
grade school and received his Eagle
Scout Award in Troop 3 while in the
6th grade. He graduated from
Fairhaven High School, attended WWU and
graduated from the University
Washington. Allen taught school for a
year on Lummi Island and in various
public schools in Seattle. He served
in the U.S. Navy as a Lieutenant during
WWII.
Allen owned and operated Bellingham
Hardware for many years. He was an
active member of the Bellingham Rotary
Club where he was a Paul Harris
Fellow. He was also a member of the
Bellingham Golf and Country Club and
Bellingham Yacht Club. He enjoyed
fishing and hunting. He was preceded
in Cemetery on Wed. Nov. 24 at 12:30 PM
with full military honors by American
Legion Post #7. A Memorial Gathering
will follow at Westford’s Broadway
Hall(formerly Aftermath Club), 1300
Broadway at 1:30 PM.
