Zelda Marie Rickens
10/24/1910 - 3/20/2006

Zelda M. Rickens, passed away March 20, 2006. She was
married in
1954. She left the mill to work in the
office at Bellingham High School and
retired 1975. She returned to work at
Mt. Baker Plywood and retired in 1984.
Zelda was preceded in interment to follow
at Greenacres born November 28,
1908 in Filer, ID to Samuel & Mary
(Rettig) Taylor. Frances worked in
Seattle as a salad maker and at the Bon
Marche. She sang with the Silver
Belles and was an Old Time Fiddler. In
her earlier years, she taught Sunday
School. In her senior years, she was a
member of the Bellingham Senior Center,
was a member of First Baptist Church,
and sang in nursing homes around the
area, and in her church choir. Frances
loved flowers and gardening and in her
later years she liked creating art and
going to rummage sales. She enjoyed
cooking and loved her family very much.
Frances was preceded in Cemetery on Mon., March 27
at 9:30 AM. Memorial Services will be
held at First Baptist Church on Mon.,
March 27 at 1:00 PM, followed by a
reception at the church.

Donald Stanley Pollock
8/16/1921 - 3/15/2006

Donald S. Pollock went home to be with
his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March
15, 2006. Don was married for
63 years. Don is also survived by his 4
children; Jeanne Davis, Joe (wife
Carol) Pollock, Donna Nordhaug and Tom
(wife Beth) Pollock; 9 grandchildren,
14 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-
great grandchildren. He was preceded
in passed away March 20, 2006. She was
married John F. Ury. Eleanor was
known as a voracious reader, a
craftsperson, and loved to go out to
eat, especially seafood. She was a
member of Toastmistresses and Eastern
Star. She loved life and always pursued
new interests.
Eleanor was preceded in went to be with the Lord on
March 19, 2006. She was Interment to follow
at Greenacres Cemetery with a reception
to follow at the church.
