Rudy Javorsek, age 57 of Bellingham,
born on Dec. 13, 1948 in Bellingham
to Frank and Ruth Javorsek. Rudy was
a lifetime musician and specialized in
drumming. He loved all animals and
always had pets.
Rudy was preceded in passed away
April 7, 2006 at home in Bellingham.
She was death by her
husband Liu Laasauga in 1971. She
is survived by son Aliva Laau (wife
Lumepa) of Anaheim, CA, daughters
Valasi Afamasaga (husband Asiasi) of
Kirkland, WA, Amanda Soo (husband Fala)
of Bellingham, Tauta Sauni of Samoa,
Tautau Lamositele of Bellingham,
brothers Faalia Auvaa (wife Vaitoa),
Faamalosi Lamositele, and Silia
Lamositele (wife Leleai) all of Samoa
and sister Fotu Masipau of Samoa, 12
grandchildren and 10 great-
grandchildren.
Visitation with family present will be
held at Westford Funeral Home on
Friday, April 14 from 6-8 PM. Funeral
Services will be held at Westford
Funeral Home on Saturday, April 15 at
10 AM followed by a Samoan Cultural
Reception across the street at
Westford's Broadway Hall, 1300
Broadway. Rev. Isaako Malo of Tacoma,
WA will be officiating.
Buford C. Davis
6/29/1918 - 4/9/2006
Buford Davis, age 87 of Bellingham,
born June 29, 1918 in Mulvane,
KS to Milton & Vina (Rich) Davis. He
was in the Army during WWII and
received the Bronze Star. He owned
and operated Davis Auto Repair for
over 30 years.
Buford is survived by his wife of 65
years, Lucille Lashua Davis; children
Lynne, Rick (wife Ginny), and Gary
Davis, all of Bellingham; 12
grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren;
10 great-great grandchildren; and
sister Maxine Willison.
Memorials may be made to Whatcom
Hospice, 800 E. Chestnut, Suite C1,
Bellingham, WA 98225. A Celebration of
Buford’s Life will be held at the VFW,
625 N. State St. on Saturday, April 15
at 4:00 PM.
Louis Edward Geisler

Louis E. Geisler, age 91, born January 31, 1915 in Westcliff, CO
to Franklin & Elizabeth (Reisser)
Geisler. He died in September of
2005.
He was also preceded in Cemetery in Seattle at
12:30 PM on Saturday, April 22, 2006.
Kathryn Patricia Jothen
8/3/1927 - 4/16/2006
Kathryn Patricia Jothen, age 78, passed
away Sunday, April 16, 2006 in
Bellingham. She braved Parkinson’s
Disease with grace and dignity. She
was married Don Jothen in 1945.
She devoted her life to her family and
made a warm and loving home to all.
Kathryn provided day care in her home
for many years. She was a long time
member of Central Lutheran Church.
Kathryn was preceded in Interment at
Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Everson.
A reception will follow at Mary’s
home.
