Frances Carsner. She is survived by
sons Mike Coulthurst, Ken Tobin, Rob
Coulthurst (wife Gretchen), Chris
Coulthurst and Rick Coulthurst,
daughter Mary Coulthurst Glaze (husband
Dan), grandchildren Tiffany, Ashley,
Madison, Aidan, Colin, Ethan and Evan,
sister Norma Nutter (husband Jack),
brothers Ron Smith (wife Connie) and
John Carsner (wife Marilee) and
daughter-in-law Tonya Hawkins.

Animal Shelter, 3710 Williamson Way,
Bellingham. Visitation will be held at
Westford Funeral Home on Wed. Sept. 20
from 3-5 PM. A Celebration of Life will
be held at Westford Funeral Home on
Thurs. Sept. 21 at 3:30 PM with
reception following at St. Paul’s
Parish Hall. Fr. Kevin Allen will be
officiating. Cemetery on Fri. Sept.

Christine M. Cavanaugh, age 94 passed
away May 16, 2006 in Bothell, WA. She
was married Charles Cavanaugh, Sr. in
1934. They both attended and raised
their family in Assumption Catholic
Church.
She was preceded in Cemetery on Monday, May 22
at 2 PM.
Garth William Brandt
4/28/1939 - 4/29/2006
Garth Brandt, age 67 born on April 28, 1939 in Bellingham to
William and Lorraine Brandt. Garth
graduated from Bellingham High in 1957
and spent 3 years in the U.S Army. He
then served 19 years in the U.S. Coast
Guard, retiring in 1980. To stay
active, he worked a wide variety of
jobs, primarily as a driver. On Feb.
14, 2003 he death by father
William Brandt and brother Keith
Brandt. He is survived by his wife
Helen, mother Lorraine Brandt, son Troy
(Jill) Brandt and their children Jordan
and Torri, son Keith Brandt, sister
Linda (Bert) Lee, sister-in-law Donna
(John) Hager, step-children Allan,
Cheryl, Kim, Kirsten, 10 step
grandchildren and 1 step-great
grandchild.
Memorials may be made to Trinity
Lutheran Church or the Seattle Cancer
Care Alliance, PO Box 19023, Seattle,
WA 98109. Services will be held Friday,
May 5 at 2 PM at Trinity Lutheran
Church with Pastor Doug Iben

Bayview City born in
Lynden, WA on Nov. 5, 1930, the second
oldest of 5 children of Clarence and
Laurel Dixon. The family moved to
Bellingham in the 1930’s where she
graduated from Bellingham High School
in 1949. Jewel death by her
parents and older brother Glen. She is
survived by her husband Bob Brown of 56
yrs. of marriage; brother Max Dixon;
sisters Pearl Johnson and Alice
Axelson; son Roy Brown; daughters Linda
Klix, Vicki McAlpine, Brenda Bond and
Gloria Moniz. She was the nurturing
grandmother of Amber Lingbloom and
William Bond. Jewel was one of the
most loving, caring and selfless people
we know and will be greatly missed and
always loved.
