Edward M. Hentz
11/18/1912 - 3/28/2006
Edward M. Hentz born in Wisconsin Rapids, WI on
Nov. 18, 1912 to Catherine and John
Hentz. On April 2, 1938, he death by his wife of
67 years, Edith, in March 2005. He is
survived by three children, Eddie
(Judy) Hentz of Kirkland, Arlyne (Ron)
Abbott of Shaw Island, and Ron Hentz of

Traverso (Ronnie) and Eric Hentz
(Betsy) of Seattle, Heather and Jason
Hentz (and their mother Susie Hentz) of
Bellingham; one precious great-
grandchild Peter Traverso, and sister
Marion Arnold of Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
If one were to look at Ed’s life
written on a piece of paper, they would
say that Ed was an “ordinary” man who
worked hard all of his life and loved
and provided for his family. But, to
those who were lucky enough to know and
love him he was an EXTRAORDINARY man!
His family was the most important thing
in the world to him, and he and Edith
spent a lifetime building memories and
traditions that will never be
forgotten, but only built upon by those
he left behind. Up until the last week
of his life, at age 93, his sense of
humor and wit were still in full
motion. You couldn’t be around him
long without having a good laugh! His
family can’t imagine what it will be
like without him, but take some comfort
in knowing that he and Edith are
together again.
A Celebration of Ed’s life will be held
at Westford Funeral Home on Monday,
April 3 at 11 AM with Pastor R.L.
Christensen officiating, followed by a
reception across the street at
Westford’s Broadway Hall.
