Jack L. Crosslin
1/19/1923 - 3/11/2002
Jack L. Crosslin SR, age 79, of
Bellingham, WA, born January 19, 1923 in
Bellingham WA to Gladys and Lee
Crosslin. Jack was a loving husband,
father, brother, grandfather, and great-
grandfather. He attended Bellingham
schools and later served in the US
Coast Guard. He passing in May of
2000. Jack was a journeyman brick and
stone mason who worked on many projects
throughout the county and state. He
was a member of the local Brick Layers
Union and of the Elks Club. Jack spent
many years enjoying the simple things
in life such as swimming, boating,
waterskiing, fishing, hunting,
gardening, dancing and always took
great pride in his vehicles, especially
his 1965 red T-Bird. He also was an
avid Mariner fan. But his greatest joy
of all was camping on the South Fork of
the Nooksack River with his family and
friends. He is survived by his devoted
son Jack Jr. and his wife Dianne of
Bellingham, one sister Carol Forsyth
and husband Ron of Bellingham. Four
granddaughters Catherine Crosslin,
Kelly and husband Chris Frere, Kaycee
Crosslin, Carly Crosslin, and great
grand-daughter Bailee Frere. Also
nephew Jeff Frere and his sons. At his
request there will be no funeral
service but instead his immediate
family will celebrate his life and love
at a family gathering in his honor.

Jerry Edward Briery
5/29/1941 - 3/22/2002
Jerry Edward Briery, age 60 of
Bellingham, WA, born May
29, 1941 in Longview, WA, to Edward and
Viola (Larson) Johnson. Jerry passed away March 26,
2002 in Bellingham. She was married Theodore Ferris in
Seattle, WA in 1940. He preceded her
in passed away April 2,
2002 at St. Joseph Hospital. He was
death by his parents Bert
and Gladys Gaither, a brother Robert
Gaither, and a sister Thelma Gaither
Obenhofer.
Survived by a sister Lillian Gaither
Englert of Leona Valley, CA, 2 nieces
Ginger McDonald of Hillsboro, OR, and
Karol Barkley of Tacoma, WA.
Private family graveside services will
be held 10:00am Friday, April 5, 2002
at Greenacres born April 30, 1929 in Johnson
City, NY, to John Disney, Sr. and
Hattie (Schlinkman) Disney. Mr. Disney
graduated from Union Endicott High
School in 1946, served in the U.S.
Marine Corps 1946 to 1948 and graduated
from Clarkson University with a degree
in Electrical Engineering in 1952.
John married Tamar H. McFall on June
30, 1951 in Endicott, NY. Mr. Disney
retired from IBM in Poughkeepsie, NY in
1984 and moved to Bellingham, WA. He
was a member of the Masons and BGCC.
John enjoyed golfing, fly-fishing,
skiing, hiking and camping.
Survived by his wife Tamar Disney of
Bellingham, WA, sons Edward Disney of
Monroe, WA, and Mark Disney of
Fishkill, NY.
Services will not be held at this
time. The family wishes to extend
sincere thanks to the doctors and staff
at Madrona Medical Center, St. Joseph
Hospital and Whatcom Hospice.
Memorials may be made to Whatcom
Hospice.
