Kathryn Gertrude Denton

Kathryn Denton, age 74 of Auburn,
born February 10, 1929 in St. Paul,
Minnesota and was the daughter of
Roscoe & Jean (McDonald) Davis. Kaye
was energetic and loved life,
especially enjoyed friends, family, and
children of all ages.
She was preceded in passed away December 20, 2003 at
Shuksan Extended Healthcare. She was
passed away
January 3, 2003. He was married Violet
Reuch on March 17, 1941. Orville
worked for Foss Tug & Barge and also
drove a truck for Model Moving &
Storage. He was a member of the
Masonic Lodge in Bellingham and the
Inland Boatsman Union.
Orville is survived by his wife of 62
years, Violet Ousley of Port Orchard,
and his daughter, Gardalee Rieck of
Sequim. Also survived by his 2
grandchildren and 3 great
grandchildren, who were all the light
of his light.
No services will be held.
Evelyn Lulu Chamberlain

Evelyn L. Chamberlain, 93 of Bellingham
born in Brookfield, Michigan on April
26, 1910 to Harry Brainerd and Pearl
Thuma. Evelyn grew up near Lansing,
Michigan as one of 9 children. She met
and death here in 1953. She death by her
husband Keith; sisters Bertha, Myrtle,
Mertie and Virginia; brothers Jesse,
Don, and Fran.
She is survived by her brother Richard
of Naples, Fl., daughter Kadee Wilson
of Bellingham, son Marc Cutler of
Bellingham, and niece Dolores Tart of
Seattle.
Grandchildren include David Green of
Bellingham, Kellie Green of Austin,
Nv., Cindy Davis of Salinas, Ca.,
Joshua Cutler of Mt. Shasta, Ca.,
Alexander and Molly Cutler of
Bellingham. Great-grandchildren
include Ryan Green of Bellingham,
Heather Green of Bellingham, and Amber
Mangus of Hollister, Ca.
She was a GREAT grandma to everyone she
met and the best friend a bird or a
flower could have. The family will hold
services in the spring.
Robert Oliver Hammond
12/29/1924 - 1/1/2004
Robert O. Hammond, age 79 of
Bellingham, born December 29,
1924 in Sandpoint, Idaho. Robert
attended Sandpoint High School, avidly
played basketball, and was the
president of his class his junior
year. He graduated in 1942. He was in
the US Army Infantry for 3 years, and
was a lifetime member of the VFW.
Later, Robert was a postal carrier, for
27 years, in Portland, Oregon. In his
free time, he loved to bowl in his
bowling leagues.
Robert is survived by two sons, Dennis
and Alan Hammond of Oregon; two
daughters, Cindi (Dennis) Handshew of
Bellingham, and Debbie Hammond of
Oregon; wife Linda Hammond of Oregon; 5
grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
