Moui Thi Lam

Moui Lam of Bellingham, born May
29th, 1944 at Thanh Phouc, Go Dau. She
lived in Tay Ninh from 1944-51, where
she went to elementary school at Go
Dau, and with her parents from 1951-
56. From 1959-70 she owned a small
business at Go Dau Market. She born
February 7, 1921 in Portsmouth, VA to
Frank and Bessie (Carter) Hill.
Howard served proudly in the Marine
Corps during WWII in the South Pacific.
He passed away on December
16, 2003 at Mt. Baker Care Center. He
was death by his wife,
Bettie Larson.
He is survived by niece Jean Jenkins of
Bellingham; niece Karen Williams of
Ferndale; nephew Eric Larson of
Ferndale; sister Beatrice Koperski of
Illinois; brother-in-law Kaye Larson;
and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Boys and
Girls Club of Whatcom County ~ 1715
Kentucky St. Bellingham, WA 98229.
Visitation will be held Friday,
December 26 from 1 – 5 pm. Services
will be held at Assumption Church on
Saturday, December 27 at 10:30 am with
Father Frank officiating.
Wilma Frances Moon
6/4/1935 - 11/3/2003
Wilma F. Moon, age 68 of Bellingham, WA
born June 4, 1935
in Loyall, KY to Edgar and Della
Moore. Wilma was raised in Loyall, KY
and graduated from Loyall High School.
She enjoyed waitressing for many
years. In later years she loved
playing bingo and gambling at casinos.
She enjoyed embroidery, traveling to
Hawaii and Reno and was quite a country
music fan. She especially liked
Elvis. Wilma was a real people person
and she cared about everyone.
She was preceded in passed away Monday, Nov.
3, 2003 in Bellingham. He was death by his
companion Catherine Hanson in April of
2003. He is survived by his brothers
John and Alfred Smith of Tacoma; nephew
Robert Smith, nieces Marie Smith and
Janet Watkins; great-nephew Robert and
great-niece Casey. Memorials may be
made to the American Cancer Society or
the Highgate House.
Hans Heimhilger
2/9/1915 - 11/11/2003
Hans Heimhilger, age 88, born February 9,
1915 in Munich, Germany. He passed on
peacefully surrounded by his close
family. His legacy is one of hard
work, integrity, tenderness, and thrill
seeking adventure.
He is survived by his loving and
supportive wife Hilda; his loving and
respectful daughter Esther Grummel, her
husband Mike, and three wonderful
grandsons, Alexander, Kevin, and
Matthew; and brothers Rudi and Peter
Erber of Munich, Germany.
There will be a gathering of close
friends and family to share memories at
an undetermined date and place.
The family wishes to thank the nurses
of St. Joseph Hospital and Hospice for
their loving support. Memorials may be
made to the Alzheimers Association.
