WESTFIELD - Eleanor R. Cagney, age 75, of Westfield, WI, formerly of Janesville and Milton, died Sun., April 4, 2004, at her home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Monmouth, IL, on Aug. 3, 1928, the daughter of Leslie and Clara (Ely) Christman, was a 1946 graduate of Monmouth High School and relocated to Janesville in 1952. Eleanor married
Jerome V. Cagney on Jan. 22, 1955, in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Janesville. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker for her family of 9 children. She was a lifetime member of the Janesville Bowmen Archery Club and was known to be the first female archer in the club to
harvest a deer with a bow and arrow in 1959. She was an avid camper for many years. During the 1970's and 80's, she served on many Cursillo teams of the Madison Diocese. She was Rectora of the 25th Woman's Cursillo. She belonged to the Westfield Jolly Squares, Milton Village Squares, Bella Vista and Rogers, AR square dance clubs and attended several state, national and international square dance conventions. Her love for Jesus was very deep and she shared His love with all she touched in this life. She was active in parish activities at St. Mary Catholic Church, Janesville, St. William Catholic Church, Janesville, Martha Circle of St. Mary Catholic Church, Milton and Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Westfield.
Eleanor is survived by her husband, Jerome; 9 children: Timothy (Carrie) Cagney and Joseph Cagney both of Minneapolis, Robert (Suzanne) Cagney and Christopher (Tina) Cagney both of Milton, Michael (Dawn) Cagney of Whitewater, Mary (Keith) Cagney-Pike, Frank (Susan) Cagney, William Cagney, and Jeffrey (Delores) Cagney all of Janesville; 19 grandchildren; 2
sisters, Virginia (John) Reilly of Janesville and Barbara (Charles) Williams of Delavan; a brother, Calvin (Margaret) Christman of England; sister-in-law, Patricia Christman of Anchorage, AK; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother; and 2 sisters.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wed., April 7, 2004, in St. Mary Catholic Church, Milton with Fr. James McEnery officiating. Peter L. Glass

JANESVILLE - Peter L. Glass, age 70, of 323 Beechwood Dr., passed away peacefully on Sun., April 4, 2004, at Haven House Hospice following a battle with cancer. He was born in Janesville on Aug. 15, 1933, the son of Harold and Bessie (Ellis) Glass. The family later moved to Lake Koshkonong where throughout his life, Peter enjoyed hunting and fishing with his brother, Tom; sons; nephews; and friends. Lake Koshkonong was Peter’s favorite place. He was a long-time member of Ducks Unlimited and the VFW Club. As a teenager, Peter joined the Armed services and proudly was a decorated Korean War veteran. Peter also served a tour in Germany. After returning from the war, Peter married
Shirley Fitzpatrick and went to work for General Motors for 34 years. Peter and Shirley raised their family of 6 children in Janesville.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; 6 children: Cindy (John) Schwartz and their children, Megan and Kyle of Janesville, Laura Glass of Madison, Tim (Julie) Glass and their children, Andrew and Samantha of Janesville, Steven (Shelley) Glass and their children, Tyler and Bentley of Fort Atkinson, Sarah Keepers and her children, Ashley and Tanner of Shreveport, LA, and Todd Glass of Janesville; a brother, Tom (Pat) Glass of Fort Atkinson; 2 sisters, Lois (Elmer) Zimmerman of Milton and Gale (Lester) Jass of Black River Falls; special friends, Bob and Esther Folk; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Alice Glass.

JANESVILLE - Marianne Peterson Cullen, age 73, of Janesville, passed away on Thurs., April 1, 2004 after a short illness on the island of Maui, HI, where she and her husband, JP, have had a home for the last 30 years. She was born in Madison WI, on July 21, 1930, the daughter of Tom and Ann (Clark) Peterson. She fought very hard to stay with those people that were most important to her. Marianne loved JP and will forever be missed. Marianne and JP traveled the world enjoying life, each other, their children, grandchildren along with their many good friends. Marianne enjoyed cooking, gardening and making a home for JP, her dogs and forever Gina.

Cullen, her husband; her sister Donna (Grant) Hill of Naples, FL; JP's sister, Marilyn (Jim) Fitzgerald of Janesville; her children: Jeffrey Helgesen of Janesville, Lisa (Ron) Hatcher of Sevierville, TN, Gina Groom of Littleton, CO; her step-children: Mark (Carol) Cullen, David (Cathy) Cullen both of Janesville, Sarah (Scott) Schlievert of Tuscon, AZ, Richard (Sarah Bonk) Cullen of Janesville; along with 17 grandchildren. STOUGHTON - Carl Francis Perkins, age 55, of Stoughton, formerly of Janesville, died Mon., Dec. 22, 2003, at Stoughton Hospital. He was born at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, WI, on Dec. 16, 1948, the son of Willis Harold and Mary Catherine (Obetka) Perkins. He was raised in the Whitewater area and has been a loyal employee of Opportunities Inc. of Madison and Kandu Industries of Janesville. During his free time he enjoyed crafts and was known for his basket making. Carl liked to put together puzzles, watch movies and football, listen to music and visit.
He is survived by his brother, John Perkins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Doreen.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Wed., Dec. 24, 2003, in the SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Stephen Umhoefer officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery, Whitewater.

JANESVILLE - Brian E. “Fritz” Radloff, age 45, of Janesville, died Mon., April 24, 2006, following a two vehicle accident in Janesville. He was born on March 22, 1961 in Jefferson county, the son of Gordon and Orma Jean (Kakuschky) Radloff. Brian attended Parkview High School in Orfordville, and then worked for Al Haugen of Haugen Farms for 15 years. He then attended Blackhawk Technical College and was certified as a diesel and electrical specialist for tractors and ag mechanics. For the past 10 years, Brian enjoyed working on semi’s and farm tractors. He also enjoyed playing the lottery, spending time with his family and friends, and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. He was well known for always being there to help someone out.
Brian is survived by his 3 children: Jessica, Kayla, and Kody Radloff of the Brodhead area; Jenny Olmedo, who he raised like a daughter; the mother of their children, Lisa McKinney of Brodhead; one grandson, Tai Schlafli; his parents, Gordon and Orma Jean Radloff of Janesville; 4 brothers: Greg Radloff of Milton, Jeff (Valerie) Radloff of Janesville, Keith (LaVonne) Radloff of Avon, IN, Gordon Radloff, Jr. of Janesville; 7 sisters, Wendy (Leland) Drewes of Monroe, Bonnie Baxter of Bentonville, AR, Diane (Seth) Kallick of Bentonville, AR, Tammy Brenner of Janesville, Mary (Raymond) Radloff-Marsh of Rogers, AR, Heather Wilson of Centerton, AR, and Melody Radloff of St. Louis; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Radloff, and a great-nephew, Jordyen.

PHILLIPS/ JANESVILLE - Ed “The Baitman” Stilwell, age 56, of W9601 County W, Phillips, WI, died on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006, at St. Anthony’s Medical Center, Rockford, IL. He was born in Beloit, WI on June 10, 1950, the son of Edward T. and Mary (Lukich) Stilwell. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1968 and married
Debra Sue Heise in October of 1970 in Janesville. She preceded him in death in July of 1984. He was remarried
to Charlotte Applebee from 1986 until 1992. Ed retired from General Motors in 1998 after 30 years of service. Upon retirement, Ed moved to the north woods of Phillips, WI where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and running a self-serve bait shop.
He is survived by his 2 children, Kristi Lynn Miller of Beloit and Jason Edward Stilwell of Orange County, CA; and 3 grandchildren: Dylan Jay Miller, Jordan Thomas Miller and Allison Debra Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Debra Sue Heise.

JANESVILLE - John “Jack” K. Nelson, age 77, of 96 S. Lexington Dr., died Thurs., Dec. 18, 2003 at Kindred Hospital Milwaukee, surrounded by his loving family.. He was born in Fond du Lac on Sept. 6, 1926, the son of Walter and Frances (Schuchardt) Nelson. He graduated from Goodrich High School, Fond du Lac in 1944 and served in the Army Air Corp during WWII in the European Theater until his discharge in January of 1946. Jack had been a Janesville resident since 1960. He married
Phyllis J. Cherry on July 19, 1975 in Shopiere United Methodist Church. He was employed by WP&L; for 36 years, retiring on Oct. 1, 1985. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, past member of Shopiere United Methodist Church. He liked to winter in Arizona and invent and perfect things around the house.
Jack is survived by his wife, Phyllis; 2 children, Dee (J.R.) Sheldon of Edgerton and Joanne “Joni” (Bruce) Danielson of Janesville; 4 granddaughters: Sarah (Dan) Strang, Otica Hagen, Stacy Danielson and Kelly Danielson all of Janesville; 1 grandson, Brandon Danielson of Camp Pendleton, CA; 1 great grandson, Danny Strang; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; great granddaughter, Kayla Strang; sister, Joyce Kosloske; and brother-in-law, Irvin Kosloske.

JANESVILLE - Dominick A. Pulcine, 17 month old infant of Kaleena Sweeney and Dustin Pulcine, died from complications of I-Cell disease on Sat., Dec. 20, 2003, at University Hospital, Madison. He was born in Mercy Hospital, Janesville, on July 8, 2002.
He is survived by his parents, Kaleena Sweeney and Dustin Pulcine both of Janesville; maternal grandparents, Robert Sweeney and Nannette Sweeney both of Janesville; paternal grandparents, James and Becky Pulcine of Janesville; 2 aunts, Lyshah Sweeney and Misty Pulcine both of Janesville; 2 uncles, Andrew Sweeney of Fort Stewart, GA, and Matthew Sweeney of Janesville. Dominick is further survived by great grandparents; great great grandparents; great aunts; great uncles; numerous cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandfather, Allen Gurney Sr.; maternal great grandmother, Dorothy Sweeney; and paternal second cousin, Jason Pulcine.

Thomas Wayne McCann

JANESVILLE - Thomas Wayne McCann, age 76, of 4721 E. Milwaukee St., died Mon., Jan. 26, 2004 at Mercy Hospital following complications of Diabetes. He was born on Jan. 1, 1928, in Janesville the son of Donald and Rose (Fanning) McCann. A Janesville resident all his life, Wayne graduated from Janesville High School in 1945. He served in the US Army from October of 1950 to September of 1952, during the Korean War. While in Korea, Wayne was a Sgt. and served with the 45th Infantry Division, 279 Regiment Headquarters Co. He married
his wife of 48 years, Margaret Malone, on May 7, 1955, in St. Mary Catholic Church, Milton. In 1960, Wayne built McCann’s Garage where he continued to be active with his sons until his death. Prior to that he worked with his brother, Allen, in McCann’s Standard Oil Station. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Janesville, a Lifetime Member of the VFW, the Moose Club and was an avid card player and Packer Fan.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret; 2 sons, Dan (Kathy) McCann and Thomas (Dianna) McCann both of Milton; 3 daughters: Susan (David) Severance, Debbie Broitzman and Diane (Bob) Lewis all of Janesville; 11 grandchildren: Lisa Severance, Pat, Joe and Jack McCann, Greg, Matt and Nicole Broitzman, Steve and Mike Lewis and Apryl and Caitlyn McCann; 2 sisters, Joan (Richard) Wixom of Janesville and Patty (Ralph) Sherman of Menomonee Falls, WI; and 2 sisters-in-law, Irene McCann and Lorraine McCann both of Janesville. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Bobby Severance who died on Jan. 17, 2003; 3 brothers: Allen, Jim and Robert McCann; a sister, Dorothy McCartney; a sister-in-law, June McCann and a brother-in-law, Robert McCartney.
