Judy Zielinski
Judy E. Zielinski (Ashley), age 62, of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin, entered eternal life on Sunday, July 27, 2008, at home surrounded by her family.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. at the United Presbyterian Church, 730 Cedar Street, in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, with Reverend Steven Keller officiating. Visitation will be held at the United Presbyterian Church on Wednesday from 1 P.M. until the time of service at 3 P.M.
She was born on August 7, 1945 in Venice, FL, the daughter of William and Margaret (Browne) Ashley. Judy graduated from Madison East High School in 1963 and the Milwaukee Accredited Beauty College. On April 24, 1965, Judy was united in marriage to Bruce M. Zielinski. She worked at Central Colony for several years caring for children in need of love and care. Judy then worked as a proofreader for various printing firms in Madison prior to her retirement. Her job was one of her greatest passions and she truly enjoyed the friends and colleagues that she made along the way. She and her husband moved north from Madison and enjoyed retirement with nature at their front door. Her backyard pond was her place of peace and enjoyment. Judy loved and enjoyed cooking, flowers, nature, Hayward, anything that had fur on it, and spending time with her family and friends.
Judy is survived by her loving husband, Bruce; parents, William and Margaret Ashley of Madison, Wisconsin; two sons, Scott (Sarah) of Roseville, MN and Matthew (Kim) of Platteville, WI; grandchildren, Dayton and William; sisters, Katherine Christenson of Stoughton, WI and Kathleen Scott of Madison, WI; sister-in-law, Mary Ellen (Bruce) Saniter of Lyndon Station; brother-in-law, James (Mary Jane) Zielinski of Somerset, NJ.; several nieces and nephews, and a countless number of true friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials or gifts be made in Judy’s name to the Dane County Humane Society in Madison, WI.
Judy’s family would like to thank Southern Care Hospice for their assistance and support.

Karen Tracy
Karen Tracy, age 59, of Reedsburg, Wisconsin, died Sunday, July 27, 2008 at Reedsburg Area Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 1, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. at the Conway-Picha Funeral Home in Lyndon Station, Wisconsin with Father Arnold Reuter officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery of Lyndon Station. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, July 31, 2008 from 5 to 8 P.M. and on Friday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service at 10:30 A.M.
Karen was born August 10, 1948 in Mauston, Wisconsin, the daughter of James and Gertrude (Fletcher) Tracy. She worked for the federal government as an accountant and scheduler for the United States military for 5 years at the Pentagon and then moved closer to home and for the next 27 years worked at Fort McCoy. After retirement she stayed busy working at Christmas Mountain near Wisconsin Dells. Karen had a keen interest in collecting American Indian relics, wolf artwork, porcelain dolls, music boxes and books.
Karen is survived by a sister, Roberta Kwosek of Reedsburg; a brother, Robert Tracy of Baraboo, Wisconsin; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Calvin "Kelly" Rasmussen
Calvin “Kelly” Rasmussen, age 78, of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin, died peacefully Friday, August 1, 2008 at the Hess Memorial Hospital in Mauston, Wisconsin with his family by his side.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at 11:30 A.M. at the Conway-Picha Funeral Home in Lyndon Station with Pastor Robert Lee Benson officiating. Burial will be at the Lyndon Station Village Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Conway Picha Funeral Home on Tuesday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service at 11:30 A.M.
Kelly was born August 8, 1929 in Boyd, Wisconsin. In May of 1951 he married JoAnn Turner in Gilman, Wisconsin. He worked for many years as a sawyer in the logging industry and with his wife, they also operated the Melody Bar in Lyndon Station for over 28 years and retired in 1995. Kelly enjoyed sports especially watching the Brewers and the Minnesota Vikings despite being in the midst of Packer fans that he took a lot of ribbing over.
Kelly is survived by his sons, Calvin J. (Geor) and Randy (Brenda) both of Lyndon Station; daughters, Connie (Willie) Sitas of Mayville, Wisconsin, Cheryle Schneider of Reedsburg, Wisconsin, Tammie (Gene) Rasmussen of Lyndon Station and Dawn (Corrie) Blawat of Burlington, Wisconsin; a brother, Albert Sonnetag of Augusta, Wisconsin; a sister, Josephine Pezall of Cazenovia, Wisconsin; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, JoAnn; daughters, Marcy and Donna Harvey; and sons, Rodney and Todd.
Blair Goodbear
Blair Goodbear, (HoChunk name, Hoonch Pi meaning good bear), age 52, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, walked on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 16, 2008 at 12:00 Noon at E8862 Winneshiek Drive, Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, near Christmas Mountain Resort with Richard Mann officiating. Burial will be at the Indian Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 A.M. until the time of service at 12 Noon at E8862 Winneshiek Drive, Wisconsin Dells.
Blair was born September 19, 1955 in Portage, Wisconsin, the son of Archie and Delphine (Swallow) Goodbear. He lived in the Dells area, Tomah, Wisconsin and Milwaukee. He had worked at Grede Foundries in Milwaukee until an injury at work and later worked as a supervisor at the Potawatomi Casino in Milwaukee.
Blair was a loving jajii (father) to his daughter, Kelly Goodbear of Milwaukee and a loving choka (grandfather) to his grandchildren, Justin, Koda and Ryan Goodbear. He is further survived by his mother, Delphine Swallow of Wisconsin Dells; a sister, Lera (Tom) Hopinkah of Tomah; brothers, Cleland (Liza) Goodbear of Tomah, Doran (Linda) Goodbear of Baraboo, Wisconsin and LeRoy (Sherlynn) Ziemet Goodbear of Lovington, Illinois and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Archie Goodbear; a brother, Orbert Goodbear and a sister, Muriel Goodbear.
Gail Hallinan
Gail Hallinan, age 68, of Mauston, Wisconsin, died Friday, May 9, 2008 at the University Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Conway-Picha Funeral Home in Lyndon Station, Wisconsin, with Reverend Jeffrey Fairchild officiating. Visitation will be held at the Conway Picha Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m.
Gail was born January 6, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of John and Marion (Worrell) Auckland. In August of 1963 she married Bartley Hallinan in Chicago. They moved to the Mauston area in 1976 and she started working for Juneau County in 1977. She retired in 2001 as supervisor of the economic and child support services. Gail enjoyed working with stained glass making ornaments and decorations; she was avid about growing flower gardens around her home; and a favorite pastime was solving crossword and sudoku puzzles.
Gail is survived by her husband, Bart; sons, Michael (Jacqueline) of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin and Bartley Jr. (Jodi) of Port Townsend, Washington; grandchildren, Ariel, Bartley, Codi, Cassie, Alex, Aaron and Abigail; father, John Auckland of Mauston; a brother, Dwight (Allison) Auckland of New Ulm, Texas; nephews, Steven (Mary Ann) Lindgren, Jonathan (Lisa) Auckland and Jeffrey (Racquel) Auckland and a niece, Kristin Webber. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marion and a sister, Nancy Lindgren.

Gloria Walther
Gloria Walther, age 62, of rural Mauston, Wisconsin, died Monday, April 14, 2008 in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Memorial funeral services will be held Friday, April 18, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. at the Conway-Picha Funeral Home in Lyndon Station, Wisconsin, with Reverend Jeffrey Fairchild officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m.
Gloria was born May 3, 1945 in Fountain Township, Juneau County, Wisconsin, the daughter of George and Genevieve (Pfaff) Regelin. She graduated from Mauston High School. In July of 1964, she married Jerry Walther in Mauston. He preceded her in death in November of 2007. Gloria worked for Wisconsin Power and Light/Alliant Energy for 34 years, retiring in 2005. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her Homemakers Group and her favorite pastimes included crafting, snowmobiling and volunteering her time at the Fountain Lutheran Mission Home in Hustler, Wisconsin. She also was a lifetime member of the Castle Rock River Runners Snowmobile Club.
Gloria is survived by a daughter, Debra (Glenn) Priest of Mauston; granddaughters, Ciera and Hali; and sisters, Kathleen Van Loon of Midway, Wisconsin, Louise Regelin of Moscow, Idaho and Delores (David) Segerstrom of Medford, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry; sisters, infant, Grace, Florence Sackmaster and Viola “Sis” Brauer; and brothers, Ervin, Walter and Fred.
The family would like to offer special thanks to the following; Elaine, Bonnie and Barb of HospiceTouch; Georgene, Terry Jean and Denie, special nieces who helped care for “mom”; and Kathy, Betty and Sharon, special friends who also cared for “mom”.

Margaret O'Loughlin
Margaret O'Loughlin, “Grandma O”, age 57, of Necedah, Wisconsin, peacefully and lovingly reached for the Lord’s arms in the early morning hours of Friday, April 11, 2008 at her residence.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 18, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lyndon Station, with Father Paul Czerwonka celebrating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the Conway Picha Funeral Home in Lyndon Station, Wisconsin, on Thursday, April 17, 2008 from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m.
Margaret was born June 12, 1950 in Oak Park, Illinois, the daughter of John and Catherine (Kerr) Grover. She grew up in Illinois, and moved to the Necedah area in 1981 where she lived for a few years before returning to Illinois. In June of 1984 she married John O’Loughlin in Adams, Wisconsin. They permanently moved back to Wisconsin in 1989. The one thing Margaret enjoyed most was to spend time with her many children and grandchildren on any occasion, but most especially around the holidays. She also enjoyed the occasional trip to the casino and was definitely an avid fan of a good cup of coffee. And, of course, especially if it was shared with family and/or friends. Margaret was an exceptionally beautiful person with an immeasurable amount of compassion, forgiveness and love for all those around her! To say that she will be greatly missed…is immeasurable as well!
Margaret is survived by her husband of 24 years, John; sons, Paul (Maricella) of Round Lake, Illinois, Peter (Jennifer) of Oregon, Illinois and Adam, Daniel (Mary Callahan), Michael, John (Cass Carter) and Joseph all of Necedah; daughters, Peggy (Todd) Kolk, Renee Fischer and Mary O’Laughlin all of Necedah; grandchildren, Jorge, Sabrina, Donna, Megan, and Andrew O’Loughlin, Tempestt Jones, Michael Corey, Samantha Fischer and Abbeygail O’Loughlin whom was coming into this world April 12th! “We believe “Grandma O” left this world early to make sure she would be the first to hold her new granddaughter”! She is further survived by three brothers; six sisters; many, many nieces, nephews and all of those whom she had “adopted” into calling her “Grandma O”. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Warren Judge; sister-in-law, Janet Grover; niece, Rebecca VanHoof; nephew, Joseph Grover and five premature grandbabies.
