Edith Lloyd
Edith Lloyd, age 80, of Oxford, Wisconsin, died Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at her residence.
Graveside memorial funeral services will be held Monday, September 26, 2005 at 3:00 P.M. at the Oxford Village Cemetery with Rev. Robert Bruinooge & Rev. Dr. Mary Jo Bruinooge celebrating along with the Neenah Valley Memorial Post 6003 Auxiliary of Oxford.
Edith was born March 26, 1925 in Oxford, Wisconsin, the daughter of William and Mabel (Reinhardt) MacKenzie. In April of 1943, she married Lester Lloyd in Oxford.
Edith is survived by a daughter, Mary Lou (Delmar) Byers of Oxford; step daughter, Marjorie Kelsey of Cottage Grove, Wisconsin; stepsons, Myron (Verna) Lloyd of Poynette, Wisconsin and Merlin (Mary) Lloyd of Jonestown, Pennsylvania; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, George and William MacKenzie and sisters, Marion McMillen and Janet MacKenzie.
Roy Cairns
Roy Cairns, age 87, of Westfield, Wisconsin, died Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at the Montello Care Center in Montello, Wisconsin, with his family by his side.
Memorial funeral services will be held Friday, October 21, 2005 at 7:30 P.M. at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oxford with Reverend Brian Rohde celebrating. Graveside services for interment of Roy’s cremains will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 22, 2005 at the Oxford Village Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 6 P.M. until the time of service at 7:30 P.M.
Roy was born November 23, 1917 in Webster City, Iowa, the son of William and Sarah (Noble) Cairns. He grew up farming in Minnesota and at the age of 26 he moved to the Oxford area where he continued farming until he retired in 1971, and then stayed busy driving truck. Horses were also a big part of Roy’s life; breaking and training them. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church where he married Ethel Anderson in April of 1963. Roy also enjoyed dancing.
Roy is survived by his wife, Ethel; stepson, Kenny (Donna) Tracy of North Bend, Oregon; stepdaughters, Joeldine Burris of Adams, Wisconsin and Jill Hockerman of Westfield, Wisconsin; a sister, Viola Carlson of Minnesota; stepsisters, LaVerne Defenbaugh of Pontiac, Illinois and Merlene Martin of Streeter, Illinois; grandchildren, Eric Kocovsky, Jason (Nicole) Kocovsky, Kelly (Jeff) Holcomb, Amy (Michael) Norelius and Carrie Hockerman; and a great-grandchild, Quintin Holcomb. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jim; sister, Sarah; a stepbrother and stepsister, Beulah.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the church.
Maxine Rendo
Maxine Rendo, age 68, of Oxford, Wisconsin, died Friday, August 15, 2003 at her residence with her loving family by her side.
Memorial funeral services will be held Saturday, August 23, 2003 at 10:30 A.M. at the Chapel On The Hill, N2440 Ara Glenn Drive, Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, with Pastor Bob Bardin celebrating. Memorial funeral services will also be held on Saturday, September 6, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at the Oxford Funeral Home, 306 Franklin Avenue, Oxford, Wisconsin, with Father Daniel Kelly celebrating.
Maxine was born August 18, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Robert and Gertrude (Huber) Hughes. She shared 50 wonderful years of marriage with her loving husband, Robert. Her greatest joy in life was her family. Her smile and laughter lit up a room. Our beautiful Maxine will live on in our hearts.
Maxine is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Sandra Vazquez of McHenry, Illinois, Robert Jr. (Tina) of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, Antoinette Rendo of Schaumburg, Illinois, Denise (Jesse) Basile of Genoa City, Wisconsin, and Michell (Jason) Renguso of McHenry, Illinois, and; grandchildren, Valerie, Victoria and Stephen Vazquez, Tristan Rendo, Kelly Hurley and Michelle Benzer; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Bud Hughes and a nephew, Bobby Hughes.

Colin McIntyre
Colin McIntyre, age 1 Month and 25 days, beloved son of Derek and Sarah (Cook) McIntyre of Oxford, Wisconsin, died Friday, June 17, 2005 at the Divine Savior Hospital of Portage, Wisconsin.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 21, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the Oxford Funeral Home in Oxford, with Reverend Donald Wedel officiating. Burial was at the Eastside Cemetery in Westfield, Wisconsin.
Colin was born April 23, 2005 in Baraboo, Wisconsin.
He was survived by his parents; a sister, Dakota Marie Marlow; paternal grandparents, Robert and Judith McIntyre of Merrill, Wisconsin; maternal grandparents, Charles and Cindy Cook of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin; maternal great-grandmother, Vivian Kann of Sun City Center, Florida; Maternal great-grandmother Dorothy Cook of Kenosha, Wisconsin, and many other relatives.
Visitation was held at the Oxford Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10 A.M. until the time of service at 11 A.M.
Arthur "Perk" Wohlfert
Arthur “Perk” Wohlfert, age 74, of Oxford, Wisconsin, formerly of Beloit, Wisconsin, died Friday, January 23, 2004 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin, following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at the Oxford Funeral Home in Oxford, with Reverend Donald Wedel celebrating. Burial will follow at the Oxford Village Cemetery.
Perk was born June 30, 19 29 in Oxford, Wisconsin, the son of Frank and LaVerne (Nielson) Wohlfert. He grew up in Oxford, and attended public schools there. In February of 1951, he married Carol Stalker. Perk worked for 30 years at General Motors in Janesville, Wisconsin and retired at age 57. He moved back to Oxford, and was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and especially fishing. He did his best to pass on his knowledge and wisdom of hunting and fishing to his children and many others.
Perk is survived by his wife, Carol; sons, Daniel (Melody) and Randy both of Beloit; daughters, Debbie Oldfield of Beloit and Monica (Sas) Locke of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin; a sister, Clara Lee (Robert) Hamilton of Tennessee; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and a very special friend, Karel Kurth of Westfield, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held at the Oxford Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10 A.M. until the time of service at 11 A.M.
Gary Raasch
Gary Raasch, age 55, of Oxford, Wisconsin, formerly of Verona, Wisconsin, died Monday, January 26, 2004 at his residence with his family by his side.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 31, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at the Oxford Funeral Home in Oxford, with Reverend Donald Wedel celebrating. Following the traditional funeral service, Gary will be cremated. Military rites will be held by the Neenah Valley Memorial Post 6003 of Oxford, Wisconsin.
Gary was born May 4, 19 48 in Madison, Wisconsin, the son of Elmer and Dolores (Malm) Raasch and he grew up in Stoughton, Wisconsin. He was inducted into the U.S. Marines in September of 1965 and his tour of duty took him to Vietnam. He was honorably discharged in September of 1968. In September of 1981, he married Janice Ayers. For 18 years they owned and operated G and J Automotive Services in Verona. In 1992 they moved to Oxford. Gary was also a life member of the Neenah Valley Memorial Post 6003 of Oxford, Wisconsin.
Gary is survived by his wife, Janice; a daughter, Carrie Raasch of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; brothers, Elmer of Madison, Wisconsin and Robert of Stoughton; sisters, Lorna Bannigan of Merrill, Wisconsin, Kathy (William) Smith of Hudson, Wisconsin and Lisa Hanson of Stoughton; mother-in-law, Hazel Schroeder of Rochester, Minnesota; stepdaughter, Jackie Pelowski of St. Charles, Minnesota, and a sister-in-law, Sharon (Al Schultz) Ayers of Pewaukee, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Patricia Harrington and his former wife, Patricia.
Visitation will be held at the Oxford Funeral Home on Saturday from 10 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M.
Ronald Buchko
Ronald Buchko, age 58 of rural Oxford, Wisconsin, died Monday, November 3, 2003 at his residence with his loving family by his side.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Ronald was born November 4, 1944 in Ironwood, Michigan, the son of Joseph and Marion (Peterson) Buchko and he grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1966 to 1974, attained the rank of sergeant and was honorably discharged. In February of 1988 he married Angie Young in Montello, Wisconsin. For many years, Ron worked as a printer.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Angie; a son, Michael of Austin, Texas; daughters, Bernadette, Kimberly and Crystal, all of Austin, Texas; a stepson, Daniel (Michelle) Spoerl of Theinsville, Wisconsin; stepdaughters, Danelle Spoerl of Oxford, and Stephanie (Ted) Hikada of Waukesha, Wisconsin; brothers, Joseph (Rebecca) Buchko of Michigan, and Jerry Buchko of California; sisters, Barbara (Joe) Geller, Joanie Wrege and Claudia (Clyde) Taivalmaa, all of Michigan; and two grandchildren, Cameron Stevens and Shayden Buchko. He was preceded in death by his parents.
