Frank C. Lasko
Frank C. Lasko Sr., 83, Waters Edge Drive, Orlando, Fla., died Sunday, March 17.
He was born in Chicago.
Mr. Lasko was a tool cutter and grinder. He was a member of the National Model Aeronautic Association. He was a member of Calvary Congregational Church, Twin Lakes. He was an Army veteran.
Survivors include his sons, James and Ronald, both of Twin Lakes; sisters, Jane Atwater and Sabina Ciechanowski, both of Chicago; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.

Michael J. Moriarty
Michael J. Moriarty, 72, Trevor, Wis. died Tuesday, March 19, 2002, at the Aurora Health Care Center in Kenosha.
He was born Sept. 27, 1929, in Chicago, the son of the late Michael J. and Clara (Arens) Moriarty.
On April 22, 1950, he married Kathleen Quinn in Chicago and they moved to Wisconsin in 1964. She preceded him in death on June 29, 1986.
He worked as a sprinkler fitter in Chicago for over 40 years and was a member of the Sprinkler Fitters Local 281. He enjoyed the Westosha Senior Center in Bristol, Wis., where he was an active member.
Survivors include his daughters, Clara (Dennis) Brisbois, Twin Lakes, Kathryn (the late Steve) Cole, Deerfield, Ill. and Jacqueline (Bruce) Hemenway, Buffalo Grove, Ill.; sons, Martin (Laura), LaCrosse, Wis. and Richard (Darla), Elmhurst, Ill.; nine grandchildren, Michelle, Philip, Todd, Kelly, Lindsay, Lucas, Kyle, Morgan and Mackenzie; a great-grandson, Dillon; two brothers, Robert and Owen; and three sisters, Bernice, Alice and Rose.
He was preceded in death by his wife; a son Michael J. III; an infant daughter Mary; and three sisters, Lucille, Marcella and Mary.
Funeral services with Mass of Christian Burial were held on March 23, 2002 at St. Peter Church in Antioch, Ill. Interment was in Holy Name Cemetery in Wilmot, Wis.
The Strang Funeral Home of Antioch assisted the family.
Irene T. Boettcher
Irene T. Boettcher, 87, Lake Geneva, died Thursday, March 14, 2002, at Geneva Lake Manor in Lake Geneva.
She was born on Oct. 14, 1914, in Chicago, the daughter of the late Frank and Joanna Bembenek Bucholz.
On July 15, 1950, in Crown Point, Ind., she married Frederick Boettcher. He preceded her in death on May 6, 1986. She lived in Chicago before moving to Twin Lakes 10 years ago.
She worked at Montgomery Wards in Chicago. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Twin Lakes, the Norwood Park Garden Club, the Twin Lakes Senior Citizen's and volunteered at the LaSalette Center in Twin Lakes. She enjoyed collecting rocks.
Survivors include a niece, Joan (Norman) Olson, Twin Lakes and a nephew, Nicholas (Diane) Pfeffer, Chicago.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Joanne Pfeffer and two brothers, Leo and Walter Bucholz.
Services were held on March 20 at the Haase-Derrick-Lockwood Funeral Home in Twin Lakes. Interment was in St. John's Cemetery.

Leonard W. Prottsman
Leonard W. Prottsman, 76, Richmond, died Friday, March 15, 2002, at Pebblebrook Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Lake Bluff, Ill.
He was born July 21, 1925, in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, the son of the late William and Opal Burr Prottsman.
For many years, he was a farmer, then became a concrete foreman for A. N. May Builders for 40 years.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Marines in the South Pacific from 1944 to 1946. He was a member of Paul C. Hoffman American Legion Post #253 in Richmond.
His favorite pastimes were fishing and hunting, especially in Canada.
Survivors include a sister, Helen Butler, Palatine, Ill., a brother, Edgar Prottsman, Genoa City; four nieces, Diane, Joyce, Cathy and Debra; and two nephews, William and Russel, plus great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys O'Connell.
Funeral services were held March 20 at the Ehorn-Adams Funeral Home. Interment was private.
The Ehorn-Adams Funeral Home assisted the family.
James E. Larson
James E. Larson, 82, Eau Claire, formerly of Genoa City, died March 2, 2002, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire.
He was born in Buffalo County on Nov. 18, 1919, to the late Martin and Olga (Torgeson) Larson.
On Jan. 29, 2939, he married Minnie J. Hewitt in Durand. She preceded him in death on July 9 1989.
He was employed in the maintenance department for Morton Chemical, Ringwood, Ill., for many years and as a driver for Robinson Wholesale Baits, Genoa City.
He lived in Genoa City before moving to Eau Claire in 1989.
He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose.
Survivors include a son, Roger, Mosheim, Tenn.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Gladys Olson, Minnesota, and Evelyn Larson and Dolores (Floyd) Knecht, both of Altoona.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Kenneth and Theodore; and sisters, Catherine Larson and Mildred Clark.
Graveside services were held May 11 at Hillside Cemetery, Genoa City. The Haase-Derrick-Lockwood Funeral Home, Genoa City, handled arrangements.
Frances N. Gray
Frances N. Gray, 98, Salem, died March 10, 2002, at Memorial Hospital of Burlington.
She was born in Cumberland, Md., on Oct. 16, 1903, to the late George and Mary (Beck) Byron. Her early life was spent in Chicago, Ill.
In 1922, she married Harry Frederick Gray in Chicago, where they lived following marriage. he preceded her in death on Aug. 12, 1971.
She was employed as a bookkeeper and office manager at Prehm & Gray Tax Accounting, where her husband was a partner. She had been a Salem resident since 1969.
She was a member of First Church of Christ-Scientist. She was also very active on the family farm in Salem fro 1969 to 1994, when she retired.
Survivors include a son, Donald, Salem; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held March 12 at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home.
Carolyn Neuhaus
Carolyn "Nook" Neuhaus, 83, formerly of Genoa City, died March 6, 2002, at Lakeland Health Care Center, Elkhorn.
She was born in South Milwaukee on June 3, 1918, to the late Otto and Laura Farhanberg Hoffman Borkenhagen. She was a lifelong resident of the area.
She was formerly employed at Hevi Duty Electric, Lake Geneva.
Survivors include a grandson, Michael Tombari; step-grandchildren, Donna Nelson and Loretta Magee; a nephew, Jerry Zarnstorff; and a niece, Joyce Warren.
She was preceded in death by sons, Augie Tombari and Roger Neuhaus; a sister, Rose Zarnstorff; and a brother, Otto Borkenhagen Jr.
Graveside services were held March 12 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lake Geneva. Steinke Funeral Home, Lake Geneva, handled arrangements.
