Ellen M. Rodgers
Ellen M. Rodgers, 72, formerly of Kenosha, died Friday (April 20, 2001) at Jennie Stuart Medical Center, Hopkinsville, Ky.
Born Feb. 23, 1929, in Ladysmith, she was the daughter of the late Tracy and Martha (Elger) Cummings. She moved to Kenosha at a young age, attended local public schools and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in 1947.
On Feb. 28, 1959, in Waukegan, Ill, she married Bert E. Rodgers.
She was employed at J.I. Case for 16 years, retiring in 1983. In 1989 she and her husband moved to Cadiz, Ky.
She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Cadiz and had been a member of Immanuel Baptist Church of Kenosha for many years. She was a member of United Auto Workers Local 180.
She enjoyed gardening, raising flowers and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband; four sons, Edward (Sue) F. Ide III of Wheatland, Tracy D. (Cheryle) Ide of Kenosha, Ed (Kathy) Stuffle of Bloomington, Ind., and Michael P. (Debra) Rodgers of Kenosha; four daughters, Ellen M. (Ronald) Witechowsky of Novi, Mich., Colette L. (Danny) Rush of Kenosha, Margaret M. (Roger) Gename of Kenosha and Beth C. (Michael) Oettel of Paddock Lake; one brother, Donovan O. Cummings of Stockton, Calif.; one sister, Beverly A. (Ellsworth) Musselman of Kenosha; 24 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Sheldon Cummings, and a great-grandson, Eddie Ide V.

Mary Macaluso
Mary Macaluso, 86, of Kenosha, died Friday (Oct. 5, 2001) at St. Joseph's Home for the Aged.
She was born on Sept. 14, 1915, to the late Joseph and Giovanna (Mastrogiovanni) Macaluso in Milwaukee. She was educated in Milwaukee schools.
A homemaker all her life, she enjoyed sewing and crafting. She lived at St. Joseph's Home for 21 years and was also a receptionist there for several years. She worked at Carmelite Boys Home in Hammond, Ind., for many years.
She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
A sister, Margarite Macaluso of Jefferson, Wis., survives.

Robert Joseph LeMay
Robert Joseph LeMay, 83, formerly of Kenosha, late of Cherokee Village, Ark., died there Saturday (Feb. 26, 2000) at Eastern Ozarks Regional Health Systems.
Born Feb. 26, 1917, in Kenosha, he was the son of Mose and Mary (Mortier) LeMay.
On Jan. 25, 1941, he married Dorothy M. Kelberger.
He was a supervisor at Simmons Company.
His memberships included the Elks and Cherokee Village Men's Golf Association.
Surviving are his wife of Cherokee Village and a brother Paul of Kenosha.
A brother and two sisters preceded him in death.
Tri-County Funeral Services, Cherokee Village, is in charge of the arrangements.
Leona G. Rausch
Leona G. Rausch, 86, of Kenosha died Sunday (Dec. 31, 2000) at her son Gary's home.
Born in Kenosha on Aug. 11, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Boyd and Gertrude (Wyatt) Watkins. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha.
In 1932, she married Leo Herman Rausch in Waukegan, Ill. He preceded her in death in 1951.
She worked as a secretary at Simmons Corp., American Motors Corporation, and most recently at American Brass for 17 years, retiring in 1979.
She was a member of Temple Baptist Church and attended First Assembly of God. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, fishing, card games, bingo, baseball and music. She was a Cubs fan.
Surviving are two sons, Gary L. (Denise) and Douglas K. (Rita), both of Kenosha, two grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a stepfather, Louis Cook Sr.; one son at birth; one daughter, Donna in infancy; one brother, Claude Watkins; a half brother, Louis Cook Jr.; three sisters, Ramona Urban, Vera Penza, Vena Blodgett; and one half sister, Gladys Allen.

Ross H. Talbert
Ross H. Talbert, 47, Trevor, died Wednesday (Feb. 14, 2001) at Memorial Hospital, Burlington.
Born Feb. 16, 1953, in Shell Lake, he was the son of Donald and Valeria Bronkema Talbert. He lived in the Trevor area his entire life.
On Sept. 28, 1996, he married Jamie Egem at Calvary Congregational United Church of Christ in Twin Lakes.
A former employee of McHenry Electric, for the past five years he was an operator/mechanic for the Silgan Container Company in Woodstock, Ill.
He belonged to Anchor Baptist Church of Twin Lakes.
Survivors include his wife, his father of Trevor; two sons, Bryan (Kelly) of Kenosha and Justin of Trevor; two stepsons, Derek Turner of Madison and Dean Johnson of Trevor; one stepdaughter, Lisa (Scott) Culber of Madison.
He is also survived by three sisters, Debra Larsen and Tina Lang, both of Trevor and Sherri Talbert of Antioch, Ill; two brothers, Donald (Karen) Talbert of Spring Lake Park, Minn., and Walter of Kenosha; and one grandson, Kyle Adkins. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Kenneth Henderson
Kenneth "Ed" Henderson, 73, of Kenosha, died Saturday, (Feb. 17, 2001) at Kenosha Hospital and Medical Center.
Born Oct. 24, 1927, in Crawford County, he was the son of the late John Burton and Margaret (Phalin) Henderson. He attended schools in Rising Sun and moved to Kenosha in 1958.
On Aug. 22, 1959, he married Doris Jane Severson in Onalaska. She died Jan. 4, 1998.
He was employed at American Motors Corp. for many years, retiring in 1986.
A member of United Auto Workers Local 72, he was a former member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
He enjoyed spending time with his friends at McDonald's.
Survivors include two sons, Ricky (Patti) Henderson of Racine, and Raymond (Jennifer) Henderson of San Antonio, Texas; two daughters, Lori (Richard) Kluver and Mary (Bob) Kluver, both of Kenosha; three brothers, Harold Henderson of Bremerton, Wash., Bernard Henderson of Onalaska, Francis Henderson of Brainard, Minn.; and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two brothers and three sisters.

Betty D. Kennedy
Betty Darlene Kennedy, 75, of Kenosha, died Monday (Feb. 19, 2001) at Kenosha Hospital and Medical Center.
Born Dec. 9, 1925, in Osceola, Iowa, she was the daughter of Lloyd and Effie (Roberts) Miller. She attended schools in Libertyville, Ill.
On March 20, 1948, she married Donald James Kennedy in Libertyville.
She moved to Kenosha in 1988 from Renten, Wash.
A secretary, she was employed at Great Lakes, Fort Sheridan and Sergeant Majors Academy for 35 years.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Relief Society of the Church. Her hobbies included sewing.
Surviving are her husband; three sons, Daniel Lloyd (Cynthia) Kennedy, Chandler, Ariz., James Kenneth (Jeanne) Kennedy, Round Lake, Ill., and Patrick Donald (Donna) Kennedy, Mesa, Ariz.; one daughter, Terry Joy (Gary) Grace of Kenosha; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Barbara Hollab in 1963 and Alice Virginia Miller.
