Dear mother of Betty (Jerome) Hertig, June (Keith) Penniston and Sonja Joers. Mother-in-law of Frances Larsen. Dear grandmother of William, Linda, Huck, Greg, David, Ron, Brian and Scott. Further survived by 12 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Eastern Star Service 11AM under the auspices of the Brookfield Acadia Chapter followed by funeral service 12:30PM with the Rev. Kirk Morledge officiating. Visitation with family before services. Burial West Lawn Cemetery, Racine.

Former guardian of Thelma (Raymond) Jochimsen, Edythe Nilsen, Franklyn (Elaine) Wick. Brothers-in-law Robert (Lois) Wick and Gilbert (Mary Ann) Wick. Sisters-in-law Shirley (Irwin) Arnold, Marion (Arthur) Paschke. Survived by a nephew Ivar Jarsten in Norway. Special niece Nancy (Terry) McGrew. Special friend Sverre Thoresen. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral Service Tuesday, April 1 at 11AM at the funeral home. Visitation Tuesday from 9AM until time of Service. Entombment Arlington Park Cemetery.

Cristen was a member of Lodge Fosselyngen 82 and a life member of Sons of Norway. He was a retiree of Allis Chalmers with 31 years service.

During World War II, he served in the US Army in China, Burma and India. CBI. After the war, he was employed by the City of Milwaukee as a cabinet maker for 27 years.
