(Nee Kujawa) age 75 years, March 27, 1997. Beloved wife of the late Louis. Dear mother of Allen (Christine), Terry, Michael (Julie) and Susan Witkowski. Loving grandmother of Andrew, Allen Jr. (Alena), Paul (Jennifer), Thomas (Shannon), Sherri (Adam) Hunt, Mary, Christopher and Monica. Loving great-grandmother of Meghan. Sister-in-law of Frank Witkowski, Jack Ratajewski and Roman Janusz. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Funeral Services Mon. at 10 AM from the Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral Home. to ST. Ambuel, John Philip
In Waukesha, Wisconsin on March 22, 1997, after a ten year battle with Parkinson's disease. Born March 23, 1918 on a homestead outside Broadus, Montana, he attended Luther College, Decorah Iowa, and the University of Chicago Medical School. In 1946 he married Marion Storck, a fine artist, originally of Wheaton, Illinois. After completing internship at Doctor's Hospital, Seattle, Washington (1947), he was stationed as a naval officer in Bremerton, Washington (1947 to 1949). He completed pediatric residency at Children's Hospital of Detroit in 1951, followed by a 2-year hematology fellowship at the University of Chicago. From 1953 until 1974 he was Professor of Pediatrics and Preventive Medicine, Ohio State University Medical School, and Director of Ambulatory Services, Children's Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. During his tenure at Ohio State he helped to found the Ambulatory Pediatric Association. Subsequently, he served as Professor of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Medical School and Director of Ambulatory Services at Children's Memorial Hospital, Chicago (1974 - 1978), followed by an appointment at the Medical College of Wisconsin, from 1978 to 1988, as Professor of Family Medicine and Pediatrics. After retiring at the age of 70, and throughout his struggles with Parkinson's disease, his love of children and deep concern for the well-being of others always remained strong. He leaves behind a loving family: Marion Ambuel, his wife of 50 years; a sister, Louise Ambuel, of Chicago, Illinois; a son, Jack and his wife Yuping of Madison, Wisconsin; a son, Bruce and his wife Helen, of Brookfield, Wisconsin; a son, David and his wife Patinya, of Fredericksburg, Virginia; five grandchildren, Laura, Brian, David, Patiphan and Philip. Memorials to the Child Abuse Prevention Fund (Box 1997, M.S. 3085, Milwaukee, WI, 53201) are deeply appreciated.

Born to Eternal Life Thursday, March 27, 1997, age 83 years. Of Brookfield, formerly of Wauwatosa. Loving husband of Evelyn and deceased Dorothy. Stepfather of Jean (Denis) Utech. Step grandfather of Michele (Jay) Cashmore and Robert Utech. Step great-grandfather of Allison. Preceded in death by his brother Norman and sister Dorothy. Further survived by brother Donald (Josephine) Barbeau, dear nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

March 27, 1997. Age 64 years. Beloved husband of Rosie (nee Lipp). Dear father of John. Loving grandfather of Adam, Sarah and Ariane.
