Age 46, of Waukesha, died May 4, 2001 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital following a year long, courageous battle with cancer. Mrs. Hennen was currently working at St. James Elementary School in Mukwonago as a teacher's assistant in kindergarten. Survivors include her loving husband of 22 years, Joe and their two daughters, Elizabeth and Anne Hennen, Waukesha; three brothers and one sister: James (Marguerite) Treep, Diane (Thomas) Grott, Richard (Denise) Treep and Robert Treep, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Lucille Treep. 84, of Elm Grove passed away peacefully on May 2, 2001. Born October 24, 1916 in Milwaukee, WI. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dr. Jack A. Klieger M.D. and her loving parents Clarence & Cecilia Walderon. She is survived by her devoted daughter Jackie Klieger of Houston, TX and nephews Christiaan Klieger of Martinez, CA and Douglas Klieger of Wayne, PA along with beloved friend Shirley Grade and host of other friends too numerous to mention. With much enthusiasm and vitality, Elaine was involved with many charitable and volunteer activities throughout her life. She served as president of the Elm Grove Women's Club and St. Joseph's Hospital Auxiliary. Elaine was involved with the Sunset Playhouse in Elm Grove since its inception and played the leading role in the production of "Our Town." She participated actively at the Milwaukee County Zoo for many years. Elaine was an avid sports car enthusiast and along with her husband, participated in many Sports Car of America and Cart racing events. Elaine has generously supported the Medical College of Wisconsin Eye Institute along with many other charitable endeavors. Both she and her late husband, leave a legacy of philanthropy. Kranitz, Arthur

Passed away May 3, 2001, at the age of 86. He lived in Mequon, WI. Mr. Kranitz was born June 27, 1914 in Milwaukee, WI. Mr. Kranitz was a founder and served for 30 years as Vice President and General Manager of Banner Welder Inc. (formerly Banner Products). In 1975, he joined 2 of his sons to serve as Chairman of the Board of The Kranitz Corp., a firm that manufactures and services special welding equipment. He was noted as an authority in resistance welding and special machine design. He served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Oshkosh Brewing Company. Mr. Kranitz was a past member and commander (1970) of Flotilla 24-14 of the Coast Guard Auxiliary. He was a member and past commander of the Milwaukee Cruising Fleet. He was a past member of the Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club and the Ozaukee Country Club, where he was an avid golfer. He was active in a number of community organizations and past officer of several of them. Mr. Kranitz is survived by his wife Elizabeth in Mequon. He is also survived by his son, Richard Kranitz and daughter-in-law, Mary of Grafton and 2 granddaughters, Aleece and Katie; his son Anthony and daughter-in-law Deborah of Cedarburg and grandchildren Matthew, Kevin and Theresa; and son Jonathon and daughterin-law, Laura and grandsons Scott and Steven. He is also survived by two of his sisters, Wilma Galko and Hertha Stankowicz. Visitation at the funeral home on Monday, May 7 from 5-8 PM with a service at 7

Adored grandfather of Benjamin and Jonathan Lopez and Adam and Natalie Oxman. Hy's devotions in life were for his family, Judaism, classical music and the violin, and his career as an accomplished CPA and founder of his own successful accounting firm. Hy was a lifelong member of Congregation Anshae Sfard and was a generous supporter of a number of Jewish and other worthy causes. Hy graduated from Marquette University and had the honor of being the youngest CPA in Wisconsin. Graveside Services will be held Sun., 11 AM at Mound Zion Cemetery, 14510 W. North Ave., Brookfield.
