Halverson, Dale Anthony
Age 54, of Green Bay, died Monday, November 30, 1998 at an area nursing home. He was born February 10, 1944 in Milwaukee to Walter and Nina (Ryerson) Halverson. Dale served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 4 1/2 years and was president of Halverson Planning, Inc. His life revolved around faith in the word of God, the love of his family and love of the outdoors.
Survivors include his wife Kathryn; 1 son and his fiancee, Peter Halverson and Kelly Comerford, Milwaukee; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Leslie and Cory Vogel and Lynn and Andrew Lulloff, all of Minneapolis, MN; 2 brothers, Robert (Inge Scheren) Halverson and Wayne (Dawn) Halverson; 3 sisters, Nancy (Hilory) Cole, Audrey (Sid) Kailler and Mary Wagner. Dale was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Kathy Eiche.
Friends may call at Schauer & Schumacher East Side Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday (TODAY). Parish Wake Service 7 PM Wednesday (TODAY). Visitation will continue after 10 AM Thursday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (the former St. Boniface Catholic Church, corner of 4th and Grant Sts., De Pere). Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Thursday at the church with Rev. Gery G. Meehan O'Praem officiating. Burial at Plum Lake Cemetery, Starlake. A memorial fund has been established for Paul's Pantry.

Of Appleton, age 71, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 29, 1998 at home. Born Nov. 10, 1927 in Milwaukee. Married April 18, 1953 to Elizabeth Sweet. He served in the Coast Guard during World War II. Worshipful Master of Masonic Waverly Lodge No. 51. Survived by wife, Betty; children, Robert C. (Kim) Sweet of Brookfield, Debra L. (Greg) Zwick of Muskego, Craig A. (Nancy) Hollis of Appleton and Kim A. (Dale) Widmer of Knoxville, TN; sister, Jan (Ken) Mack of Phoenix, AZ; 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends.
Memorial Services will be held Dec. 5 at 1 PM at Wisconsin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Diabetes Assn. would be greatly appreciated by the family.
