George L. Cigan, 44
George L. Cigan, 44, of River Falls and formerly of Chippewa Falls, died Sunday, Aug. 2, 1998, in River Falls of injuries received in a pedestrian-vehicle accident.
He was born Aug. 26, 1953, in Chippewa Falls, the son of Betty (Baumgardner) and Peter J. Cigan. He grew up in Chippewa Falls and the town of Anson where he attended Vance School. He graduated from Chippewa Falls Senior High School in 1973.
He married Cheryl Henning in Chippewa Falls. He had been employed at Wissota Badger Sales with his father until 1992. He was then employed as a trucking company salesman and was most recently employed at Wal-Mart in Hudson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Peter; and a brother-in-law, Brad Yeager.
He is survived by his mother, Betty, of Chippewa Falls; three sisters: Marty and Rod Raatz of Cornell, Mary and Bob Denning of Chippewa Falls, and Marie Yeager of Eau Claire; four brothers: Mike and Linda Cigan, William and Corrina Cigan, Nick and Jackie Cigan, and Greg Cigan, all of Chippewa Falls; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Aug. 7, at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls, with the Rev. Robert Hoekstra, chaplain of the Chippewa Manor Nursing Home, officiating.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m., Thursday, and until the time of the service Friday at the funeral chapel.
Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.
Clara A. Lundgaard, 79
Clara A. Lundgaard, 79, of River Falls and formerly of the Ellsworth area, died Friday, July 31, 1998, at her home.
She was born Aug. 16, 1918, in Spring Lake, the daughter of Peter S. Peterson and Johanna (Nielsen) Peterson.
She married Alvin C. Lundgaard on Sept. 25, 1937, in Spring Lake. She was employed at Smead's Manufacturing in River Falls.
She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Beldenville; the Our Savior's Ladie's Aid, and the Lonely But Not Alone (LBNA) group at Our Savior's.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin; one grandson; and her sisters and brothers.
She is survived by her sons: Stan and Bev Lundgaard of Sunnyside, Calif., David and Maria Lundgaard of Woodland, Calif.; and Wendell Lundgaard of St. Paul; a daughter, Juleen and Ted Klawiter of Anoka, Minn.; a brother, Carl and Mabel Peterson of Elmwood; her grandchildren: Sara and Sonja Lundgaard, Kathy and John Pierce, Mike and Terri Klawiter, Erik, Gina and Justin Lundgaard, and Amy Lundgaard; and her great-grandchildren: Joshua, Tyler and Alycia Pierce, and Randy Klawiter.
Funeral was Wednesday, Aug. 5, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Beldenville, with the Rev. John Sutherland officiating.
Burial was to be in the North Our Savior's Cemetery.

John H. Reinart, 59
John H. Reinart, 59, of River Falls, died Wednesday, July 29, 1998.
He was born Oct. 10, 1938, in Slayton, Minn., the son of John and Mildred (Holden) Reinart.
He held several management positions with IBM, First Bank Systems and the University of Minnesota.
He was serving a term on the Board of Directors for Turningpoint for Victims of Domestic Abuse, Inc. He served on the Planning Board for the town of Troy from 1994-95.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mildred.
He is survived by his wife, Esther Lee Reinart of River Falls; his daughter, Jane and Dan Savage; his son, John and Sue Reinart; his grandchildren, Jack and Madelyn Savage and Elizabeth Reinart; his brother, Jay and Susan Reinart; and several other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held Sunday, Aug. 2, at Hillside Memorium Chapel, Minneapolis.
Michael J. Fosse, 36
Michael Jerome Fosse, 36, formerly of River Falls, died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 1998, in Comstock.
He was born June 29, 1962, in St. Paul, the son of James A. Fosse, Sr. and Gertie M. Luepke. He earned his G.E.D. degree in River Falls and was employed in the construction and trucking businesses.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Susan and Joseph Sack, and Louis and Helen Fosse.
Survivors include his daughters: Ruby Starr Berning of Ham Lake, Minn., and Aimee Dahlman of Menomonie; his parents: Gert and Gary Luepke and Jim Fosse, Sr. and a special friend, Helen Helgeson, of River Falls; his brothers: James A. Fosse, Jr. of Lakeville, Minn., Wayne Luepke of River Falls, Tim Luepke of River Falls, and Bryan Luepke of Atlanta; his sister, Cynthia S. Rutledge of Osceola; three nieces and one nephew; and many friends and relatives including his favorite aunt, Carol Fosse, of Silver Bay, Minn.
Funeral was Saturday, Aug. 29, at St. Bridget Catholic Church with the Rev. Gerald Harris officiating.
Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Wayne Luepke, Bill Fosse, Troy Thiele, Tim Luepke, Tony Fosse, Ray Sack, Larry Freeman and Louie Talbot.

Alice M. Klanderman, 76
Alice May Klanderman, 76, of Baldwin died at her home on Friday, Aug. 28, 1998.
She was born Jan. 25, 1922, in Minot, N.D., the daughter of Andrew and Bessie (Ellefson) Ford. She graduated from Minot High School. She attended Minot State Teacher's College and the School of Nursing in Duluth, Minn.
She married Verne Louis Klanderman on March 10, 1943, in Minot. They moved to the Baldwin area, where Alice made her home in rural Baldwin, until moving into the village of Baldwin 14 months ago.
She was employed at the Baldwin Community Hospital for 45 years in the nursing department as well as being the medical records librarian.
She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Minot and has been an active member of First Reformed Church in Baldwin since moving to this area. She was a member of the Ladies Church Guild, the Hospital Auxiliary and the Happy Valley Homemakers Club.
She once said her hobby was her entire family. She also enjoyed gardening _ especially flowers, reading and knitting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Bessie; her husband, Verne, who died Dec. 26, 1987; two brothers: Ray Ford and Everett Ford; and two sisters: Ina Lou Ford and June Mox.
She is survived by three sons: Robert and Bonnie of Wilson, Roger and Roz of Thorp, and Richard and Vikki of Hammond; her daughter, Jane Ann and Jim Mikla of Baldwin; one sister, Clarice Roland of Billings, Mont.; and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral was Monday, Aug. 31, at the First Reformed Church of Baldwin with the Rev. Harlan DeJong officiating. Joyce Moe was organist and Kristin Wellens was soloist.
Interment was in Baldwin Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Joe Klanderman, Ryan Klanderman, Dustin Klanderman, Shane Mikla, Tom Hawley and Peter Hawley.
Honorary pallbearers were: Carrie Klanderman, Miranda Mikla, Denise Klanderman, Renee Klanderman, Colton Mikla, Hannah Ryder and Sara Ryder.
Memorials are preferred.
Agnes H. Simone, 73
Agnes Helen Simone, 73, of River Falls, died Saturday, Sept. 19, 1998, at her home.
She was born Nov. 1, 1924, in St. Paul, the daughter of Martin and Agnes (Lendaway) Krois.
She worked at West Publishing Company from 1968 until her retirement in 1989.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Agnes; a daughter, Sandra; and brothers: Martin, Jack, Raymond and Lawrence.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen and Greg Moelter of River Falls; her brother, Leonard and Lenora Krois of Minneapolis; and four grandchildren: Kami and Tony Reisinger of New Hope, Minn., Brittney Gainey of Fort Worth, Texas, and Brooke and Hollye Gainey of River Falls.
Memorial services were held Tuesday, Sept. 22, at Cashman Mortuary, with the Rev. Gerald Harris officiating.
Michael D. Erickson, 22
Michael Daniel Erickson, 22, of Prescott died Sunday, Sept. 20, 1998, from injuries sustained in a traffic accident.
He was born May 4, 1976, in Hastings, Minn., the son of Daniel and Kay (Gilles) Erickson. He grew up in Prescott and graduated from Prescott High School in 1994. He was a senior at UW-Stout in Menomonie.
He is survived by his parents, Daniel and Kay Erickson of Prescott; two brothers: Ryan and Travis, both of Prescott; his maternal grandparents: Lyle and Betty Gilles of Plum City; his paternal grandparents: Donald and Bonnie Erickson of Arkansaw; many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Funeral was at 11 a.m., Wednesday, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Prescott with the Rev. Thomas Mannion officiating. Burial was to be in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were to be: Eric Hartung, Matthew Hoyt, Aaron Armstrong, Michael Olson, Shawn Hager and Raphael Ptacek.
