Wilhelmetta "Metta" Pfister
Wilhelmetta "Metta" Pfister, 90, formerly of 2201 Erie Ave., died Sunday, February 11, 2001 at Sunny Ridge Nursing Home.
Born March 23, 1910, in Sheboygan, Wilhelmetta was a daughter of the late John and Anna Strade Pfister.
On May 24, 1927, she was united in marriage to George Pfister. The couple was married for 31 years before George preceded her in death on October 15, 1958
Wilhelmetta was a member of Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer where she was also a member of the Ladies Guild. She was a former volunteer at Bethesda Thrift Store.
She is survived by her niece, Lucile Schuette, Sheboygan; her nephew, Harvey (Elizabeth) Daniels, Lady Lake, FL, many great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 16, 2001 at Lippert Funeral Home, 1132 Superior Ave. The Rev. David Cecil, pastor of Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, will officiate. Relatives and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.

Walter R. Primozic
Walter R. "Wally" Primozic, 80, died Thursday, March 29, 2001, at Meadow View Manor Nursing Home where he had been a resident for the past two months.
He was born May 26, 1920, in Kohler, a son of the late John and Frances Urbas Primozic. He graduated from Kohler High School. On September 27, 1941, he married Elva Luedke at St. John's Catholic Church in Kohler. She preceded him in death in 1993.
Wally enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps on September 8, 1944, and served in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater from August 7, 1945 to August 27, 1946. He attained the rank of 1st Lieutenant and was the pilot of a B-29 bomber on several bombing missions over Japan. He also served in the U. S. Air Force Reserve with the 9662 ARS for over 20 years, achieving the rank of Lt. Colonel.
For over 40 years, Wally was the grocery manager of the former Luedke's Super Market. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and a lifetime member of Knights of Columbus Our Lady of the Rosary Council 722. He was also a member of Sheboygan Memorial V.F.W. Post No. 9156, American Legion Prescott-Baynes Post No. 83, Sheboygan Elks Lodge No. 299 and the Elks National Foundation. In 1963, he began volunteering at North High School where he was a co-founder of the school radio station, WSHS, and organized and ran the Saturday night dances. As a member of the former Lakeshore Kiwanis Club Wally was the organizer of the annual Graduation Party which has been held at the Sheboygan Armory for more 30 years. For many years, he was the drummer for the Mel Hummitzsch Clown Band and played with the band until shortly after his 80th birthday. His passion was dancing the polka and listening to polka music.
Wally is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Vaughn and Carey of Elkhart Lake; his grandson, Matthew Vaughn, the light of his life; his sister, Frances Rooney of Kohler; other relatives and many friends. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by a three brothers, John, Frank, and Raymond; and a sister, Mary Boerner.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Wally will be celebrated at St. John's Catholic Church, 600 Green Tree Rd., Kohler, on Monday, April 2, at 9:30 a.m. The Rev. Louis J. Wilimek, pastor, will be celebrant. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery with full military honors provided by the U. S. Air Force. Visitation will be held at Lippert Funeral Home, 1132 Superior Ave., on Sunday, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and again, at the church, on Monday, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the mass.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorial contributions, in the name of Walter R. Primozic, for the American Diabetes Association.

Carl Henry Schmidt
Carl Henry Schmidt, 52, a resident of SCCHC for the past five years, died Monday, February 12, 2001, at Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. He was born September 1, 1948, in Sheboygan, a son Leon R. and Lillian Hall Schmidt.
He is survived by his mother, Lillian of Cleveland, WI; three brothers and two sisters, Roger (Pat) of Alvin, WI, Joann (William) Richter of Cleveland, Douglas of Cleveland, Sharon (Al) Conn of Auburn, WA, and Mark (Deana) of Sheboygan. He was preceded in death by his father, Leon, and his brother, Paul.
Funeral services for Carl will be held at Lippert Funeral Home, 1132 Superior Ave., on Wednesday, February 14, at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will be at the funeral home, on Wednesday, from 5:00 p.m. until the hour of the service. Interment will take place in Lutheran Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.

Marion M. Schmidt
Marion M. Schmidt, 81, formerly of 2003 N. 7th Street, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2001, at Beach Health Care Center.
Born December 26, 1919, in Sheboygan, Marion was a daughter of the late Frank and Hattie Bluhm Fibiger. On May 24, 1941, she was united in marriage to Carl E. Schmidt in Sheboygan. They were married for 41 years before Carl preceded her in death on May 10, 1983.
She was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, worked in the church and school offices and was a member of the Agape Circle. She was also a den mother with the Boy Scouts. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Marion is survived by her children, Bonnie (Timothy) Tagel, Sheboygan, and Peter (Marty) Schmidt, Hamden, CT; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Phyllis Schmidt, Sheboygan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Rev. Bert L. Schmidt, and a brother.
Funeral services for Marion Schmidt will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 30, 2001, at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1818 N. 13th Street. Pastor Alan Kretschmar will officiate. Interment will take place in Lutheran Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome at the church on Friday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.

Harriet Schuchardt
Mrs. Harvey (Harriet) Schuchardt, of Pine Haven, Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2001, at the age of 98.
Born April 21, 1902, in Sheboygan, Harriet was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schuchardt. She attended School Dist. No. 6 in the Town of Sheboygan and also Sheboygan High School.
She was married to Otto Marquardt on August 14, 1946 and he passed away on May 12, 1976. She then was married to Harvey Schuchardt.
Harriet was employed as a secretary at Dillingham Mfg. Co. for many years and also at Honold & La Page. She was a past member of the Turner Gymnastics' Society and it's Drum & Bugle Corps, the Sheboygan Kennel Club, Manitowoc Kennel Club and was a past director of the Midwest Miniature Schnauzer Club of Chicago. She also operated her own kennels, known as Ker-Mar Kennels, on the Lower Falls Rd. for 17 years. She was a member of First Reformed Church of Sheboygan Falls and was the first person to enter Pine Haven Residential Home on August of 1986.
Harriet was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey, in 1985; her daughter, Everdene in 1983; two brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include her son-in-law, Reinhold Kammerzelt of Sheboygan; grandson, Thomas Kammerzelt of Sheboygan; granddaughter, Mrs. Daniel (Kathy) Hutchinson of Sarasota, FL; four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, at Lippert Funeral Home, 1132 Superior Ave. The Rev. Brian Stone, senior pastor of First Reformed Church of Sheboygan Falls, will officiate. Relatives and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 noon until the time of service. Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery.
A memorial fund will be established in her name.

Lance O. Schuh
Lance O. Schuh, 53, of 6326 So. 18th St., died Thursday, February 15, 2001, from injuries suffered in a motor vehicle accident.
He was born September 5, 1947, in Sheboygan, to Mando and Eldora (Aschenbach) Schuh. He graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1965 and attended the L.T.I marketing program. He married Beverly Tenpas in 1966.
Lance served in Vietnam from 1966 to 1968 with the U.S. Army. He served in the U.S. Army Reserve until December 5, 1972.
On October 20, 2000, Lance and Lori Hollenbeck were united in marriage at Bethlehem Lutheran Church by the Rev. James Hartman.
He has been employed by the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier at the Sheboygan Post Office for 20 years. He was a member of the National Assoc. of Letter Carriers, Branch 102. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and the Vietnam Veterans of America. Lance was an accomplished musician and was lead singer and guitarist for several local bands including Wall Street Rocks and the Eldorados. He belonged to the Falls Y.M.C.A. He enjoyed playing basketball and loved nature and the outdoors
Lance is survived by his wife and best friend, Lori; children, Kimberly Grohskopf and her husband, Chris, of Sheboygan, Jody Schuh and his special friend, Karen, of Middleton, WI, Amy Leannah of Milwaukee and Jason Leannah of Sheboygan. He also loved spending time with his two grandchildren, Brittany and Zachary Grohskopf. He is further survived by two brothers, Dennis and his wife, Jeri, of Green Bay, and Mando, Jr. "Butch" and his wife, Holly, of Porterville, CA.; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Helene and Robert Hollenbeck of Sheboygan Falls. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services for Lance O. Schuh will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1121 Georgia Ave., on Monday, February 19, at 8:00 p.m. The Rev. James Hartman will officiate. Visitation will be at the church, on Monday, from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of the service. Entombment will take place in the Resurrection Mausoleum at Sunrise Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
A memorial fund will be established in his name.

Eldor A. Siebert
Eldor A. Siebert, age 79, formerly of 3710 Koehler Dr., died Friday, January 26, 2001, at Harmony House, 3319 Superior Ave. where he had been a resident for the past seven months.
He was born October 28, 1921 in Sheboygan, to the late Ernst and Anna Federwisch Siebert. He served in the U.S. Army during W.W. II. On May 12, 1945, he married Marie M. Schimberg in Sheboygan. She preceded him in death on April 5, 1993.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Bradley and Katherine of Washington, IL; two grandsons, Bryon and Kevin of Washington, IL; and his brother, Palmer of Florida. He was also preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
He will be cremated and there will be no attending services.
