AUGUSTA - Frances Bohl, 77, of E20055 Dolotta Road, died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2000 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire.
She was born April 27, 1923 in Perry, Okla., to Louis and Anna (Miksch) Thele. She married Harold Bohl on June 30, 1945 in Oklahoma City. The couple farmed in the town of Bridge Creek, rural Augusta, retiring in 1982.
She is survived by five sons, Eugene (Pat) Bohl of Anchorage, Ala., Ronald, Lynn and Rick Bohl, all of Augusta and Kenneth (Lisa) Bohl of Fairchild; five daughters, Joyce (Ron) Thomley of River Falls, Rosemary (Frank) Paulich Sr. of Eau Claire, Gloria (Kenneth) Zich of Augusta, Goldyne (John) Shilts of Boyd, Verna (Ken) Grams of Fairchild; two brothers and four sisters, all of Oklahoma; 26 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded by her husband, Harold, on Sept. 7, 1989.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 20, 2000 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with burial in the West Lawn Cemetery, both in Augusta. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday and before services Monday at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta. Rosary services will be 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Gaylord Holmgreen
OSSEO -- Gaylord Norman Holmgreen, 93, of Osseo died Thursday, November 16, 2000, at Osseo Area Medical Center.
He was born December 5, 1906, in the town of Albion, Jackson Co., Wis., to Rueben and Amanda (Johnson) Holmgreen. He married Emma Loberg on June 27, 1932, in Oshkosh. She preceded him in death on December 11, 1988.
He began his career as a teacher and salesman for Wearever Aluminum Company. From 1939 to 1955, he farmed in the town of New Hope, Portage Co. In 1956, he moved to Osseo and worked as a salesman for Osseo Silo Co., until opening Holmgreen Realty.
He is survived by two sons, John (Jolene) Holmgreen of Clinton, S.C., and Robert (Shirley) Holmgreen of Osseo; a sister, Lorraine Bills of Oak Harbor, Wash.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Russell; and a sister, Lida Duxbury.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, November 20, 2000, at Osseo Evangelical Lutheran Church, with Rev. Lewis Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Osseo Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Schiefelbein Funeral Home in Osseo and one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.
Kelli Kay Meyer
Our beloved Kelli, age 38, Elk Mound, Wis., formerly of Bloomer, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 16, 2000, at Sacred Heart Hospital surrounded by her family and friends and with the help of hospice. Kelli fought a long courageous battle with cancer.
Kelli was born May 17, 1962, in Chippewa Falls, Wis., to Merlin and Diane (Getzie) Peil. She married Quin Meyer on December 21, 1991, in Bloomer, Wisconsin. She was a life long member of First Congregational U.C.C., Bloomer, Wis. Kelli worked for HeadStart until the time of her illness and remained close friends with the entire staff. She was instrumental in forming the "Let's Talk" cancer support group in Bloomer and was an inspiration to everyone who knew her because of her energetic, outgoing personality. She had a strong faith in God that sustained her to the end. Kelli enjoyed camping with the Northwoods players, hiking in the mountains of Wyoming, walking the beaches of Florida and all of the outdoors and nature. Kelli enjoyed cross country travel with her motorcycle, which brought her many adventures. She loved her husband, children, sisters, family and friends dearly and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Kelli is survived by her parents; maternal grandfather, William Getzie; husband, Quin Meyer; sons, B.J. Peil of Chippewa Falls and Nickolas Meyer at home; daughter, Samantha Meyer at home; sisters, Dawn (Randy) Benson of Bloomer, Tanya (Rob) Ostlund of Osceola and Kris (Steve) Kramschuster of Laramie, Wyo.; seven nephews; four nieces; one aunt; three uncles; and many very special friends, including Manuel Vallejos and Manuela Hebert.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Peter and Gladys Peil; and her maternal grandmother, Luella Getzie.
A memorial service and visitation with the family will be held at First Congregational Church in Bloomer on Saturday, November 25, 2000, with the visitation from 3 to 5 p.m. and the memorial service at 5 p.m. A celebration of life will be held at her home in Elk Mound following the memorial service.

Rose Strauch
Rose L. Strauch, 85, of 3624 Nimitz Street, Eau Claire, Wis., died Thursday, November 16, 2000, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.
She was born on January 16, 1915, in the town of Washington, Wis., the daughter of John and Rozina (Geske) Welke. She married Alvin J. Strauch on August 26, 1938. He preceded her in death in 1987. Rose worked at Bethesda Lutheran Thrift Store and was a long time member of the Ladies Aide and Altar Guild of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.
Rose is survived by her brothers, Anton (Selma) Welke of Fall Creek and Alvin Welke of Strum; one sister, Frances Wilhelm of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alvin; three sisters; and three brothers.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, November 20, 2000, at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, with Pastor Steve Rutter officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 until 6 p.m. Sunday afternoon at Fuller-Speckien Funeral Home and at the church on Monday one hour prior to the service.
Doug Webb
Doug "Hovie" Webb, age 39, of Menomonie, died Thursday, November 16, 2000 from the result of an auto accident.
Doug was born February 13, 1961 to Donavon and Norma (Lynch) Webb in Menomonie, Wis. He graduated from Menomonie H.S. in 1979. He married Colena Donnelly March 21, 1992 at New Hope Lutheran Church in Downsville, Wis. Doug worked for McMillan Electric Company for 20 years.
Doug was an avid sports fan and participant. He played softball, baseball, hockey and also liked to hunt and fish. He was a big fan of the Minnesota Vikings and also loved music.
Doug's final act was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
Doug is survived by his wife, Colena Webb, of Menomonie; his children, Shannon, 8, Chad, 4; his parents, Donavon and Norma Webb of Menomonie; two sisters and one brother, Julie (Ken) House of Menomonie, Linda (Jim) Dahl of Menomonie and Wyatt Webb of Joy, Ill.; grandmother Ruth Webb of Elmwood; father-in-law and mother-in-law Lloyd and Karen (Hanson) Donnelly of Menomonie and many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kermit Webb and Marvin and Eunice Lynch.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 20 at New Hope Lutheran Church in Downsville with Rev. Richard Klabunde officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie and one hour before services at the church.
Carl Lehman
Carl Lehman, 94, of Eau Claire passed away Saturday, July 28, 2001, at Grace Lutheran Foundation Syverson Lutheran Home in Eau Claire.
He was born September 9, 1906, in Alma, Wisconsin, the son of Valentine and Frieda (Rossow) Lehman. Carl married Mildred (Buck) in 1932. She preceded him in death in 1995. He graduated in 1929, from the University of Wisconsin with a Pharmacy Degree. He worked in his field of study for 40 years and was the founder of Lehman Drug Store in Eau Claire. He was a member of the American Pharmaceutical Association, the Chippewa Valley Pharmaceutical Association and the Wisconsin Pharmaceutical Association. He was a member of the Eau Claire Sanctuary Lodge #347 F & AM, President of the Noon Exchange Club in 1953, and a member of the Live Wires Group. He was also a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church, where he served as a member of the board. Carl loved baseball, football, his dogs and cat and feeding the birds.
The family wishes to thank the people at Grace Lutheran Foundation Syverson Lutheran Home for all the wonderful care he received.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents; eight siblings; and his wife, Mildred.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda Joy (Roland) Weiss of Racine; three grandchildren, Bruce (Marilyn) Weiss, Steven (Julie) Weiss and Kristilin Joy Weiss; and six great-grandchildren, Claire, Brian, Sara, Mary, Sylvia and Kellen. He is also survived by one sister, Lavina Fink in Milwaukee, Wis.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 3, 2001, at 2 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Eau Claire, with Pastor Rolf Nestingen officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church on Friday one hour prior to the service.

Irma Cartwright
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- Irma E. Cartwright, 88, of Minneapolis died Tuesday, July 31, 2001, at Crystal Care Center.
She was born in Eau Claire, Wis., June 14, 1913, the daughter of Oscar and Anna (Scheel) Olson. She married William Cartwright October 7, 1933, in Biwabik, Minn. She was a member of Eastern Star Chapter #238.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William; parents; brothers, Charles and Oscar Jr.; and sisters, June Olson and Lois Nicolet.
She is survived by her daughter, Kay Sneen and her husband, Robert of Minneapolis; grandchildren, Mark and his wife, April, Rojean Lucking and her husband, James, and Michael and his wife, Patty; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Aubrey (Annette) Olson of Eau Claire; sisters, Ethel Mae (Dan) Jackson of Boise, Idaho, and Verona Foltz of Las Vegas, Nev.; sister-in-law, Jeanne Olson; and many friends.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Cross of Glory Lutheran Church, 5929 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center. Interment will be in Rest Haven Gardens Cemetery in the town of Washington.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
