Services will be Thursday for Roberta F. Sekel, 54, of Okauchee and formerly of Wyoming, who died Sunday at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital.
She was a homemaker, a graduate of Oconomowoc High School and a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church of Oconomowoc.
Survivors include her husband, Allan R. Sekel Sr.; a son, Allan R. Sekel Jr. of Tucson, Ariz.; mother-in-law Evelyn Sekel of Beaver Dam; three brothers-in-law, Larry (Luanne) Sekel and Rodney (Angela) Andler, both of Beaver Dam, and Eugene Sekel of Chicago; three sisters-in-law, Sharon Sekel of Illinois, Sandy Sekel of Beaver Dam and Janice Sekel of Arizona; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7 p.m. Thursday until the services at 8 at the Schmidt & Bartelt Notbohm-Kreutzmann Funeral Home, 121 S. Cross St., Oconomowoc. The Rev. Blaine Rader will officiate.
Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Glenview Memorial Gardens, W1219 Glenview Ave., near Highways 16 and F, Ixonia.
Memorials to the family were suggested.

Irene D. Smith
Services will be Wednesday for Irene D. Smith, 90, of Pewaukee, who died Saturday at River Hills West Health Care Center in Pewaukee.
She was a member of the Odd Fellows and of the Barbara Rebekah Lodge No. 9. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include her daughter, Carol Dumke of Pewaukee; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is set for 4 p.m. Wednesday until services at 6:30 p.m. at the Yonke and Son Funeral Home, 205 Prospect Ave., Pewaukee. Burial will be at East Lawn Cemetery in Alma Center.

Warren Adams
Warren Adams, age 78, of Trempealeau, died Wednesday, December 9, 1998 at Franciscan Skemp Health Care Center in La Crosse, Wis.
He was born May 13, 1920, to Earl and Minnie (Shanabrook) Adams in Trempealeau, Wis. On September 5, 1946 Warren married Merna Gibson in The Centerville Methodist Church.
Warren farmed most of his adult life, he was also employed by Brunkow Hardwoods as a bookkeeper from 1958 until his retirement in 1982. Warren was the Trempealeau Town Treasurer in 1951 and 1952 and the Trempealeau Town Clerk for 45 years until his death. He was a life member of the Trempealeau United Methodist Church, a choir member for over 60 years, and also held many offices in the church, a member of the Trempealeau Ecumenical Gospel Choir, the ecumenical choir and the Winona Area Barbershoppers.
Warren is survived by his wife; two sons, Earl (Lynn) Adams of Greenwood, Wis; Larry (Rhonda) Adams of La Crosse, Wis; two daughters, Diane (Dennis) Hubbard of Norwalk, Wis. and Donna (Jim) Newmann of Whitewater, Wis; nine grandchildren, Samuel Gerald Warren Adams, Sarah Adams, Eric Adams, Jared Adams, David Hubbard, Dawn Powell, Daniel Warren Hubbard, Cory James Newmann and Shanna Brooke Newmann; one brother Gerald Adams of Trempealeau; and one sister Mildred Kelly of La Crosse, Wis. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, and a brother Robert.
Funeral services were Saturday, December 12, 1998 at Trempealeau United Methodist Church. Rev. Betsy Miller-Ruben officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Centerville. Memorials may be directed to the Trempealeau United Methodist Church. Zwickey Funeral Homes assisted the family.
George Amoth
George T. Amoth, age 71, of Ettrick, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 10, 1999. His life was full as a music and band instructor, directing community choruses, cantatas, singing barbershop, playing with the DeCapo Band, coaching golf and farming. George was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Korea and Japan. He was a member and past-commander of the American Legion Runnestrand-Pederson Post #354 and member of the Galesville-Ettrick VFW.
He is survived by wife, Muriel (McWain), and eight children: Guy (Jill) Amoth, Julie ("Fox") Malesytcki, Tammy Amoth, Barbara (Sacher-Eric) Burnard, Beverly (Sacher-Dale) Peterson, Diana Sacher, Anthony (MiHye) Sacher, and Thomas (Brenda) Sacher. He is also survived by two sisters, Muriel (Oscar) Mahlum and Jean (Roger) Buttke. There are thirteen grandchildren who will also treasure memories with grandpa.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 15, 1999, at Living Hope Lutheran Church in Ettrick. Rev. Lyle Ness will officiate. Military rites will be conducted by the Ettrick American Legion and the Gale-Ettrick VFW. Private family burial will be at a later date in the Ettrick Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church on Thursday, October 14, 1999, from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.

Wm. Howard Barenthin
Wm. Howard Barenthin, 76, of Galesville, died Saturday, July 31, 1999 in his home. Howard was the owner of Barenthin Oil Co., a family owned business in Galesville for over 82 years.
He was born August 16, 1922 in Galesville to William F. and Myrtle (King) Barenthin. Howard graduated from Galesville High School. On July 24, 1943 he married Nona J. Fillner. Howard began working for his father at Barenthin Oil Co. in 1937 and purchased the business from the estate in 1964. For a time he was employed on the Alaskan Highway and as a mechanic on the Island of Guam.
He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Galesville, having served as an elder and trustee, a past member of the Galesville Fire Department having served as an assistant chief; past city councilman in Galesville, past Lions Club and Curling Club member, both in Galesville.
Hunting and golf were past pleasures "H.B." enjoyed. Next to his family, his customers and their families were the friends he appreciated so much.
Survivors are his wife Nona; 2 daughters, Margaret "Peggy" Pyron of Worthington, Ohio; Barbara (Tom) La Rue of Waupaca, Wis; 2 sons, Roger W. of Whitehall, Wis; William H. II of Galesville; a sister, Ellamae (Les) Steen of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis; 3 step-grandchildren Jessica (Joe) Majefeski and Heather La Rue, both of Appleton; and Clint La Rue of Kaukauna, Wis.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter Janet Faye, his parents, a brother Erwin and a sister Gladys (Thomas) Thomason.
Funeral services were Tuesday, August 3, 1999 in First Presbyterian Church, Galesville. Rev. M.C. Parkhurst officiated. Burial was in Pine Cliff Cemetery, Galesville. Zwickey Funeral Homes, Galesville assisted the family.
Wilbert Betz
Wilbert Betz, 83, of Galesville, died Saturday, January 22, 2000 at Marinuka Manor in Galesville.
Wilbert was born April 15, 1916 to William and Minnie (Herlitzka) Betz in La Crosse, Wis.
On July 19, 1939 Wilbert married Lorna (Sacia) Betz in Waukon, Iowa. They farmed in the Galesville area for many years. Wilbert was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Galesville.
Wilbert is survived by his wife Lorna; a son William (Tracy) Betz of La Crosse, Wis.; a daughter Sacia Andersen of Galesville; 4 grandchildren, Robert (Anne) Betz, Laura Betz, both of Appleton, Wis., Brigette Betz of La Crosse and Amber Andersen of Las Vegas, Nev. and 4 great-grandchildren Chad, Kristy, Annika and Alex.
Wilbert was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Edwin.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, January 27, 2000 at the First Presbyterian Church in Galesville. Rev. Dr. R. Steven Krueger will officiate.
Friends may call from noon until 1 p.m. Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church in Galesville.

Josephine "Josie" Brenengan
Josephine "Josie" Brenengan, age 87, died Friday, November 26, 1999 at Marinuka Manor Nursing Home in Galesville, Wis. She was born July 30, 1912 to Louis and Christina Schneider in Trempealeau,Wis.
Josephine married Milton Brenengan on February 8, 1932. They first lived in Galesville and later moved to the Frenchville area where they farmed together for many years until Milton's death in 1975. Josephine later moved back to Galesville where she lived for 14 years, and moved to the Senior Citizen apartments. Josephine also worked at Gale Products for 8 years.
Josephine was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Galesville and St. Bridget's Catholic Church in Ettrick, both altar societies, and an active member of the Frenchville area homemakers club.
Josephine is survived by 3 daughters, Ivanell (Ronald) Johnson of Holmen, Dorothy (Ronald) Johnson of La Crosse, and Mary Gunderson of Holmen; 6 grandchildren, Jolene (David) Romskog, Jerrod (Julie) Johnson, Gina (David) Olesen, James (Lisa) Johnson, Shelly (Scott) Miller and Bart (Erin) Gunderson; 4 great-grandchildren, Jessica Buckholtz, Kyle Miller, McKenna Gunderson and Ryan Olesen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and 2 sisters, Rosie Miller and Marie Jessessky.
She enjoyed life. She loved being around people, always making them welcome by serving coffee. She will always be remembered as being a wonderful neighbor, loyal friend and above all a truly wonderful mother. May God be with her and take care of her.
Funeral services were Monday, November 29, 1999, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Galesville. Fr. Robert Wagner officiated. Casketbearers were Jerrod Johnson, Bart Gun-derson, James Johnson, David Romskog, Scott Miller and David Olesen. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Trempealeau.
