Kravik, Kenneth "Ken" Howard
September 22, 1946 - July 15, 2002
EDGERTON -- Kenneth "Ken" Howard Kravik, age 55, passed away Mon., July 15, 2002, at his home. He was born Sept. 22, 1946, in Ft. Atkinson, WI, the son of Howard and Gladys (Vethe) Kravik. He graduated from Cambridge High School in 1964. Ken served in the U.S. Army from 1967 until 1968. He worked as an industrial engineer for General Motors in Janesville for 32 years prior to his retirement.
Surviving are his son, Jason (Diana) Kravik of Ft. Mill, SC; his daughter, Nicole (Toby) Krause of Helenville, WI; a grandson, Cody Jason Kravik; his mother, Gladys Kravik of Cambridge, WI; his sister, Sharon Spaanem of Ft. Atkinson, WI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ken was preceded in death by his father, Howard Kravik.
Funeral services will take place at 8 p.m. on Thurs., July 18, 2002, at NITARDY FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, Cambridge, WI, with Rev. Bill Beyer officiating. Friends may call after 5 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home until the time of the services. Private burial services will be held at East Koshkonong Lutheran Cemetery.

La Bonne, Shirley M.
August 11, 1937 - July 14, 2002
DELAVAN -- Shirley Mae La Bonne, age 64, of 2438 South Shore Dr., died Sun., July 14, 2002, at her home. She was born on Aug. 11, 1937, in Palatine, IL, the daughter of Donald and Alma (Toppel) Ritter. She married Daniel La Bonne on Nov. 19, 1955, at St. James Church in Arlington Heights, IL; she has lived in this area since 1964.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel of Delavan; 3 daughters: Lynn La Bonne of Jefferson, Denise Metzger of Elkhorn, and Dawn (fiance Richard Lee) La Bonne of Walworth; a son, Daniel (Carmella) of Lake Geneva; 4 grandchildren: Jonathon and Jerad Fleming, Christopher La Bonne, and Angelina Buffa; a sister, Marie Heinsohn of Elkhorn; a brother, Harold (Karen) Ritter; her mother, Alma of Whitewater; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; a son, Robert; her father-in-law; and her mother-in-law.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thurs., July 18, 2002, at MONROE FUNERAL HOME, Delavan, with Rev. Rick Wasmund officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Memory Gardens, Delavan.

Selma Bue
Selma Bue, age 97, of Galesville, formerly of rural Ettrick, died on Thursday, April 20, 2000 in the Marinuka Manor in Galesville. Selma was born on September 18, 1902 in the Town of Gale, Trempealeau County, Wis. to Sigvart and Anna (Herried) Molstad. Selma married Kenneth S. Bue on October 7, 1929 in rural Galesville. He preceded Selma in death on September 15, 1986.
Selma was a member of the North Beaver Creek Parish Faith Lutheran Church in rural Ettrick and had been active in its various organizations. She has been a residen t of the Marinuka Manor since September of 1990.
Mrs. Bue is survived by a daughter, Ellamae (Sylvan) Lebakken of Galesville; two granddaughters, Sheryl (John) Christianson of Galesville and Tarri (Robert) Swanson of La Crosse; nine great-grandchildren and a sister, Gladys (Spencer) Instenes of Ettrick.
In addition to her parents and husband, Selma was preceded in death by a daughter, brother, two sisters and a great-grandson.
Funeral services were Tuesday, April 25, 2000 in the North Beaver Creek Parish Faith Lutheran Church. Rev. Tim Ehling officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Casketbearers were Roger Instenes, Randy Tollefson, Randy Lindberg, Vernon Bue, LaVern Saxe and Wayne Sweno.
Jack Funeral Home of Blair assisted the family.

Dolly Cantlon
Dolly Cantlon, age 77, died Friday, January 8, 1999 at Marinuka Manor Nursing Home in Galesville, Wis.
She was born August 1, 1921 to Calvin and Jane (Brinegar) Green in West Virginia.
She married James Cantlon on December 30, 1953 in Speicher Germany. Dolly and James have lived in Ettrick since his retirement from Military service in 1970.
She is survived by her husband; 2 sons, James B (Barbara) of Ettrick, Lt. Col. John R. (Jenise) of Fort Polk, La; three grandchildren, Heather of Ettrick, Rebecca and Mathew of Fort Polk, La.; 2 sisters, Florence Caton of Vienna, Vir., Violet Campton of Mullens, W. Vir.; and a brother Robert Green of Welaka, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.
It was her wish to be cremated and a burial will take place at a later date.
Zwickey Funeral Homes, Galesville, assisted the family with arrangements.

Barbara Cisco
Barbara Jean (Huff) Cisco, 50, passed away at North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo, Mississippi on Saturday, February 26, 2000, after a long, courageous battle with congestive heart failure.
Funeral services were held at Memorial Funeral Home in Corinth, Mississippi on February 28, 2000.
She was born on March 31, 1949 in Corinth. She was an artist and child care provider.
She is survived by her husband Gerald; her father and stepmother, Wayne and Sue Huff of Corinth; her sisters, Phyllis (Huff) Stoner of Galesville, Kathy (Masaro) Harris of Corinth and formerly of Galesville, Angie (Masaro) Williams of Fort Worth, Tex., formerly of Galesville, Debbie (Huff) Garcia of Corinth; and brother, Tony Masaro of Poplar Bluff, Mo., formerly of Galesville; daughters Denise Heiges and Cindy Palmer; sons Brian Burcham, Sean Stacy, Dustin Stacy, all of Corinth, and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Andriesen, formerly of Galesville.

Darwin B. Congdon
Darwin B. Congdon, 78, of Galesville, died Friday, March 24, 2000 in Mulder Health Care Facility, West Salem, Wis.
He was born June 16, 1921 in Gale Township, Trempealeau Co., Wis. to Bert and Effie (Brinker) Congdon. On August 26, 1944 he married Thelma Jean Bullock in the Town of Gale. The couple farmed on Decorah Prairie for many years. In 1973 they sold their dairy herd to concentrate on crops and hogs.
Darwin was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Galesville, where he had served on Session. He enjoyed his family, farming, bowling and camping.
Survivors are his wife of Galesville; a son, Ken (Deb) of Galesville; a daughter, Margaret (John) Gawlik of West Bend, Wis; 4 grandchildren, Noah, Josh, Aaron, Kendra; and 2 sisters, Mildred (Ray) Schweers of Wausau, Wis., Dolores (Howard) O'Neill of La Crosse, Wis.
Funeral services were Tuesday, March 28, 2000 in First Presbyterian Church, Galesville. Rev. Dr. R. Steven Krueger officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, North Bend, Wis.
Zwickey Funeral Homes assisted the family.

Carlyle Cory
Carlyle Cory, 92, of Galesville, died Wednesday, April 26, 2000 in Lutheran Hospital, La Crosse, Wis.
He was born May 26, 1907 in Eau Claire, Wis. to John and Susan (Becker) Cory. On Sept. 7, 1934 he married Hazel O. Legreid in Blair, Wis. She died March 27, 1993.
Carlyle was actively involved at Zion Lutheran Church of Galesville where he had served in several capacities including Superintendent of Sunday School and was the 1995 Kids Parade Marshal. He had exhibited at the Trempealeau County Fair since 1935, was active in the Red Cross Bloodmobile, was a beekeeper, a rose gardener and had built 7000 plus bluebird houses, giving them away in an attempt to bring the bird back to the Coulee Region. He served on the Galesville Volunteer Fire Department for 46 years and had been their secretary and with his wife Hazel, were past May Days Parade Marshals in Galesville. A special certificate was awarded Carlyle for 58 years of annually attending the local school board budget meeting. He was a retired carpenter by trade and was presently involved in being a mediator for Trempealeau County Courts.
Survivors are 2 daughters, Susan Johnson of Hudson, Ill. and Kathleen (Gary) Fournier of Dayton, Ohio; 6 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Besides his wife he was preceded in death by a sister, a brother and a son-in-law.
Funeral services were Saturday, April 29, 2000 in Zion Lutheran Church, Galesville. Revs. Arnold Flater and Deanna Langle officiated. Burial was in Glasgow Cemetery, rural Ettrick, Wis.
Memorials may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church, Galesville or Galesville Public Library.
Zwickey Funeral Homes, Galesville Chapel assisted the family.
