Herman A. Pernsteiner, 87, Town of Medford, died Sunday, April 10 in Las Vegas, Nev. at the home of his son, Arthur, whom he was visiting. Funeral services are Saturday, April 16 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford, with Rev. Gerard Willger and Deacon Joe Stefancin officiating. Cremainal interment will take place in Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Medford. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Visitation is Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford. There will be a 6 p.m. prayer service with the parish and Knights of Columbus.

Nita Manglos, 96 died Wednesday morning, March 30 at Memorial Nursing and Rehab Center, where she lived for the last four years. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 1 at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of services, 11 a.m., at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Medford. Rev. John Melke will officiate. Burial will take place following the service at Medford Evergreen II Cemetery. Pallbearers are John Brady, Michael Helmsing, Dennis Kneeland, and Bobb Leary. She was born March 30, 1912 in Athens, daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Fell) Albrecht. Arlene married Orville Frahm on August 27, 1931 in Milan. He preceded her in death on July 15, 1991.
