She was born in Spencer, a daughter of the late Irvin W. and Mary Miller Cunningham. She was a member of the Apostolic United Pentecostal Church. Prior to retiring, she had worked at Ames Co., Storks Bakery, Yunkers Manufacturing and the Ideal Box Factory.

Ms. Duley was born May 21, 1947, in Pennsboro. She was a graduate of Pennsboro High School with the Class of 1965. She was a graduate of Glenville State College in 1989 with a degree in business and received a master's degree in business from West Virginia University in 1991. She worked as an R&D accountant for Eaton-Cutler-Hammer, Pittsburgh, Pa. She attended the Church of Christ of North Canton.

She was born Sept. 26, 1914, in Ritchie County, a daughter of the late Ethelbert and Artie Bailey Wharton. She attended St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church where she was a member of the Rosary Alter Society and was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America.

HARRISVILLE - Marshall Therlough Simons, 65, of Harrisville, died April 22, 2003, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 3, 1938, in Ritchie County, the son of John Quinton and Hester Florence Smith of Cairo-Cisco Community, Ritchie County. Mr. Marshall worked for Troy Mills, Harrisville for more than 20 years before his retirement and later worked as a security officer at the Belmont Power Plant.

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - Sigrid Fredricka Zimmerman, 54, of Bronxville died April 12, 2003.
Ms. Zimmerman was a graduate of Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., and she was a teacher in that city before moving to New York City. She recently retired from her job as billing director for a magazine publishing firm in Manhattan. At the time of her death, she was self-employed.

He was born in Spencer, a son of the late Marvin S. and Ethel Jordan Brannon. He was a minister in the Church of the Nazarene and retired after 25 years of service.

She is survived by one son, Gary Bradford Hastings; one sister, Delma Williams of Petersburg, W.Va.; three grandchildren, Valerie, Erica and David; and several nieces and nephews.

He was born in Calhoun County, a son of the late Burton and Myrtle Workman Leach. He was retired from Hope Gas Co. with 34 years of service as a skilled mechanic. He was a former member of the Grantsville Fire Department, was a U.S. Army veteran and was a skilled woodworker.

Born in Calhoun County, she was a daughter of the late Lon and Mae Downs Powell. She was a member of Albert's Chapel United Methodist Church in Sand Ridge.

LUBECK - Harold Edward Eaton, 69, of Washington, Lubeck Community, departed this life Sunday, April 20, 2003 in Cairo.
Mr. Eaton was born March 24, 1934 in Lubeck, Wood County. He had been a truck driver, an employee of the Wood County School System as a bus drive for 13 years, and drove a bus for Park Tours of Parkersburg for several years. Before retiring, he was the owner and operator of Eaton Personal Service, which made removals and long distance transfers for many funeral homes throughout West Virginia, and was a member of the 14th Avenue Gospel Mission of Parkersburg.

SARASOTA, FLA. - Manuel Gersman, 93, husband of the late Minna Gersman, passed away April 19, 2003, in Sarasota. He was a former resident of Parkersburg and Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
He was born July 18, 1909, in New Kensington, Pa., to the late Anna and Aaron Gersman. He was founder of Ideal Furniture, Furniture City and co-owner of Gersman's Ethan Allen Gallery in Parkersburg. He was a member of B'nai Israel Temple, B'nai Birth of Parkersburg and a 32nd degree Mason.
