REISTERSTOWN, Md. - Loretta R. Montalbano, 66, of Reisterstown, Md., died Wednesday, April 16, 2003, at her home.
She was born Aug. 27, 1936, in Baltimore, Md., the daughter of the late Ralph and Madaline Boon Ruoff. She was a retired proof operator for First National Bank. She also worked as a secretary for Baltimore Adhesive, for Dr. Haber's office and Pleasant Hill Church. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glyndon, Md. She was also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

ROMNEY, W.Va. - The Rev. Michael P. O'Reilly, 66, of Romney, W.Va., formerly of Parkersburg, died April 17, 2003, at the Winchester Medical Center of Winchester, Va.
The Rev. O'Reilly was born July 5, 1936, in Crott Dromard County, Longford, Ireland, a son of the late Thomas and Catherine McKeon O'Reilly.

She was born in Tyler County, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Mary Tennant Gatrell. She was Baptist by faith.

LOWELL - Marilyn L. Wagner of Lowell died April 19, 2003, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home, Marietta. Interment will be in Valley Cemetery.

FERRUM, Va. - Roland "Bud" Wise, 71, of Ferrum, Va., died April 14, 2003.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Patten Wise; two daughters, Holly Wise and Heather Kohnen and her husband Joe, all of Ferrum; three grandchildren; and four sisters and their husbands, Merna and Jack Shultz of Parkersburg, Rae and Earl Scyoc of Sissonville, Iva Nelson of Dayton, Ohio, and Anne Parks of WIlmington, Ohio.

FLORENCE, S.C. - J. Ruth Denton, 86, a former resident of Marietta, died Sunday, June 1, 2003, in Florence, S.C., where she had lived the past three years.
She was born Feb. 6, 1917, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Okey Glen and Myrtle Farmer Oliver. She had spent most of her life in Marietta and had been employed at the Hotel Lafayette. She had been employed at the Marietta Chair Factory during World War II. She attended Marietta High School and enjoyed crocheting, quilting and making angels for her family and friends. She was a member fo the First Baptist Church Marietta Chapter No. 59, Order of the Eastern Star, was active in the O'Neill Senior Center and RSVP and was a volunteer at the Tourist Trolley as well as many other programs in Marietta. On Feb. 2, 1935, she was married to James Thomas Denton Sr. who preceded her in death on Sept. 2, 1957.

ZANESVILLE - Mary A. Gogan, 58, of Zanesville died Monday, June 2, 2003.
Survivors are five sons, Robert Gogan of Zanesville, Keith Gogan of Lorain, Ohio, Jack Gogan of Elyria, Ohio, Timothy Gogan of Alma and Thomas Gogan of West Lake, Ohio; a brother, James McBurnie of Toms River, N.J.; and 16 grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home, Pennsboro, with interment in Spring Hill Cemetery, Tyler County. Visitation will be 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Jeanene Ann Gross
RAVENSWOOD - Jeanene Ann Gross, 65, of Ravenswood, formerly of Port Richey, Fla., died June 3, 2003.
She was born in Wisconsin, a daughter of the late Russell V. and Lucille Burgess Cherry. She retired from the Pasco County Board of Education in Florida.
Surviving are four daughters; two sons; a brother; two sisters; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Private funeral services will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no visitation. Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, is in charge of arrangements.

PARKERSBURG - Herbert L. Naylor, 80, of Parkersburg died June 3, 2003, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Parkersburg, a son of the late Robert B. and Lessie D. Clutter Naylor.

ROSEDALE - Minnie Jane Vaughan Stemple, 94, of Walnut Community, Rosedale, died June 2, 2003, at the home of her daughter, Bernice White.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Walnut Community Church with the Rev. Lester Tanner officiating. Interment will be in the Jarvis Cemetery at Floe. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today at Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg.

MARIETTA - Cecil Eddy Biehl, 75, of Marietta died June 2, 2003.
Survivors include a son, Eddy L. Biehl; daughters Brenda K. Pierce and her husband, David, and Julie A. Sawyer and her husband, Ray; grandchildren Brad, Chris and Eric Pierce and Ryan and Evan Sawyer; brothers Duane Biehl and his wife, Maxine, and Richard Biehl and his wife, Martha; and a sister, Joan Rose and her husband, Edward.
Glen A. Burton
ST. MARYS - Glen A. "Burt" Burton, 82, of St. Marys died June 2, 2003, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 23, 1920, in New Martinsville, a son of the late Wilson and Winnie Beatrice Butler Burton. He enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Force in June 1942, serving two years overseas in the European Theatre during World War II, and was discharged in November of 1945. He was employed as a surveyor and directed multiple construction projects in West Virginia, Ohio, Georgia, Arizona, North Dakota, Texas, Arkansas, Illinois, North Carolina, Florida, Kentucky, Indiana and New York. He retired from Indiana & Michigan Electric Company, a division of American Electric Power Company, in December 1982 as construction manager. He was a member of the St. Marys United Methodist Church and a 50-year member of the Parkersburg Lodge No. 169 AF&AM.

VIENNA - Betsy A. Delancey, 72, of Vienna passed away June 2, 2003, at Eagle Pointe Nursing Facility.
She was born Aug. 31, 1931, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Forrest and Bessie Atkinson Dailey. Betsy was a homemaker and a member of the North End Church of Christ. She enjoyed crafts and worked craft shops on Blennerhassett Island, was a seamstress and enjoyed flower gardening.
Ernest W. Rader
VIENNA - Ernest William Rader, 77, of Vienna died June 2, 2003, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born Aug. 21, 1925, in Parkersburg, the only child of the late Ernest Otto and Stella Enoch Rader. He was educated in the Wood County school system and graduated from Parkersburg High School in the May Class of 1944. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II where he served as a radio specialist operator on Guam Island in the Pacific.

SALEM, Va. - Maxine Virginia Goad, 56, of Salem, Va., died Friday, May 30, 2003.
Survivors include a son, John E. Goad Jr.; seven brothers, Alonzo L., Stanton Arthur, Isaac Alfred, Thomas Daniel, John Martin, Timothy R. and David L. Boggs; a sister, Eileen Jean Boggs; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
