PARKERSBURG - Eveleen N. Schlarb, 90, of Parkersburg passed away Nov. 10, 2003, at Heartland in Marietta.
She was born June 17, 1913 in Beatrice, W.Va., a daughter of the late James C. and Bess Inez Sprouse Congleton. She was a graduate of Parkersburg High School and a member of the First Christian Church of Parkersburg. She was active in church, PTA and other organizations. She was a resident of Bradenton, Fla., for 22 years.

Morris "Jack" Davis, 89, of Hillview Retirement Community, Portsmouth, Ohio, formerly of Belpre, died March 30, 2004, at the Retirement Community.
He was born in Lamar County, Texas, on Jan. 17, 1915, a son of the late William Martin and Sara Emma McNeely Davis. He was a member of the Belpre Church of Christ. He retired from Texas Instrument as a machinist and had worked for General Dynamics and Lone Star Steel.

Mr. Blankenship was born Feb. 2, 1922, at Oceana, W.Va. He was a retired coal miner with 26 years of service and was a member of the United Mine Workers of America. He was a veteran of World War II with the U.S. Army and a member of the Coxs Mills Church of God.
