Mrs. Stukey has many years of service with the Wood County Board of Education, where she was a school cook. She was a lifelong dedicated member of the South Parkersburg United Methodist Church, where she was active in numerous ministries throughout her lifetime. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and a beloved friend to many.

Mrs. Vaughn is survived by her husband, Jack J. Vaughn of Reno; son, James Robert Vaughn of Marietta; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law; and a special cousin.

She was born in Middlebourne, Tyler County, a daughter of the late Albert V. and Sarah Ellen Turner Parker. She was married to the late Edward F. Gallagher, who preceded her in death in 1984.

She was born Jan. 11, 1925, at Schultz, Pleasants County, a daughter of the late William Henry Dennis and Ida Emma (Ross) Dennis.

RAVENSWOOD - Henry F. Pios, 83, of Silverton Community, Ravenswood, died March 25, 2004, in Augusta Medical Center, Fisherville, Va.
He was born Oct. 20, 1920, in Clarksburg, W.Va., a son of Stanley and Victoria Czupryna Pios. He was a retired brick mason who worked for Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corporation. He was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church of Ravenswood. He was a member of the U.S. Army, serving in Word War II in the 71st Tank Destroyer Battalion in the African and Italian campaigns.
