He was born Aug. 17, 1926, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Edward Roy and Leila Ann (Downey) Tracewell, who are deceased. He married Marjorie Way and they are divorced. He then married Anita Borkosky on July 4, 1965, and she died Sept. 2, 1995. He then married Betty Kuch on May 8, 1996, who survives.

She was born Oct. 27, 1919, in Wood County, a daughter of the late Clarence and Lillian Freed Buckner. She retired after 35 years of service with the FMC Corporation and then Colligan Water for three years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Parkersburg.

Lena Virginia Wright Parsons, 80, of Parkersburg passed from this life Oct. 7, 2004, at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital of Athens.
She was born in Parkersburg on July 11, 1924, a daughter of the late William Cecil McKinley Wright and Freeda H. Johnson Wright.
R.C. 'Bob' Poyet
R.C. "Bob" Poyet, 84, of Belpre died Oct. 7, 2004, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Barnesville, Ohio, the son of the late William Fred and Leta Chappell Poyet. He retired from Goldsmit-Black following 30 years of service. He had also worked for the American Viscose Corp. He was a charter member of the Belpre Church of Christ since 1933. He was a member and past president of the Parkersburg Kiwanis Club. He also volunteered for the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital and was a World War II Army veteran.
William B. Rowe
William Beacom Rowe, 91, of Ravenswood died Oct. 7, 2004, at Ravenswood Care Center, Ravenswood.
He was born Aug. 24, 1913, at Centerburg, Ohio, a son of Frederick A. and Hazel Beacom Rowe. He was the eldest son born on the family farm near Centerburg, Ohio. He was a devoted member of the First United Methodist Church in Ravenswood, where he served many years as a trustee and board member. He joined Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corporation at Newark, Ohio, and was transferred to the Ravenswood facility in 1957. He retired from there in 1978 as a garage foreman. He joined the Masonic Lodge in Utica, Ohio, in 1934, and was a member of Ravenswood Ashton Lodge 12, Jackson Chapter 48 Royal Arch Masons; McDowell Commandry 28; 32nd Degree Scottish Rite; Nemesis Shrine, Parkersburg; OES Douglas Chapter 15; Ft. Henry 61 York Rite College; Knight of the Holy Royal Arch Knight's Templar Priest; and Royal Order of Scotland. He received the Red Cross of Constantine, the highest honor given a Knight's Templar in West Virginia. He was also a lifelong member of the IOOF.

Judith Kennedy Webb, 68, of St. Marys died Oct. 7, 2004, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Parkersburg.
She was born Jan. 8, 1936, in Marietta, a daughter of the late Joseph E. and Florence "Fon" Archer Kennedy. She was a member of the St. Marys United Methodist Church and a 1954 graduate of St. Marys High School. She received her bachelor's degree from Glenville State College and her master's degree from Marietta College. She taught school for over 45 years in Preston County and Pleasants County. She taught at St. Marys High School and was one of the first to teach at the PRT Vocational School. She was a member and past matron of the St. Marys Chapter 31 Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of the Portmar Garden Club. She was a member and treasurer of the Pleasants County Retired School Employees. Her hobbies included reading, grandkids, kids, traveling and exercising.

Margie G. Hall, 92, of Burning Springs passed away Oct. 5, 2004, at her residence.
She was born in Wirt County, Aug. 8, 1912, to Simon and Naoma Whitecotten Robinson. She was a member of the Burning Springs United Methodist Church. Margie was a cook at the Burning Springs Grade School and Nutter's Boarding House in Parkersburg for many years. She was a homemaker.

Betty Ross Kerns, 61, of Devola, Ohio, passed away Oct. 5, 2004, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
She was born Dec. 19, 1942, in New Albany, Ind., a daughter of the late Ross C. and Dorothy E. Jordan Bonner. She was a member of the Putnam Congregational Church in Devola, attended Wednesday night Bible study and was a member of the Ladies Fellowship. She graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1960. She was also a member of the Blennerhassett Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. She retired as the sales office manager in 2002 with Broughton Food Service of Marietta after 28 years of service.
