Fred J. "Doc" McClung, 41, of Waverly died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, from injuries he sustained after being struck by a motor vehicle while assisting a motorist who had struck a deer.
He was born Jan. 12, 1963, in Parkersburg, a son of Walter McClung of Parkersburg and Betty (Nichols) McClung of Vienna.

Marjorie E. Ward, 83, of Rockport died Dec. 2, 2004, at Elder Care of WV in Ripley.
She was born Nov. 23, 1921, in Rockport, a daughter of the late George and Ruby Blair Emerick. She was a graduate of Mountain State College and worked as a medical stenographer. Marjorie was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing. She was a Protestant by faith.
Roger L. Angus
Roger Lee Angus, 54, of Parkersburg died peacefully Dec. 1, 2004, at home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
He was born June 27, 1950, in Parkersburg, the beloved only child of Wilbert C. Angus and the late Esther Lemly Angus. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and served during Vietnam. Mr. Angus was retired from Schott Scientific Glass Inc.

Lyle R. (Dick) Bibbee, 74, formerly of Elizabeth, passed away Dec. 1, 2004, at Worthington Manor Nursing Home.
Born in Wirt County, he was the son of the late Harry and Ica Kerns Bibbee. He was a former DuPont employee and farmer. He was a member of the Elizabeth United Methodist Church; was a trustee of the Camp Barbe Association; and along with his love and sharing of the youth of Wirt County, he was an active leader in 4-H programs for 42 years. He was an honorary member of Wirt County FFA Chapter and was an active member of the Wirt County Fair Association.

She was born in Ritchie County, a daughter of the late Curtis and Bessie Goff Newlon. She was retired as postmaster of the Davisville Post Office with 26 years of service; a member of NAPUS; past president of NARFE; a member of South Parkersburg Woman's Club and Friends of the Blennerhassett; a member of the Civil Air Patrol; a member of Burnt House United Methodist Church; and attended South Parkersburg Baptist Church.

She was born Nov. 8, 1927, in Cowan, W.Va., a daughter of the late Frank and Hallie Savage Keller. She worked in the nursing field at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital and Headstart. She was a member of the Wood County Sports Association, enjoyed auctions and flea markets and was a member of Broadway Baptist Church.
