Russell Mullins, 64, of Parkersburg passed away Nov. 29, 2004, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
He was born June 4, 1940, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Joe S. and Retha Fay Jarvis Mullins. He was a tree surgeon and retired after 16 years of service at Asplundh and he loved fishing and reading western books.

Joseph L. Oldham, 48, of North Augusta, S.C., passed away Nov. 27, 2004, at University Hospital in Augusta, Ga.
He was born Oct. 10, 1956, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Smith Lee and M. Catheryn (Wigal) Oldham. He received his bachelor's degree from the Ohio Institute of Technology and was an electrical engineer most recently for Raytheon. He enjoyed fishing, wood carving and the West Virginia Mountains. He was an avid fan of WV Mountaineer football, he collected and worked on antique clocks and was devoted to his dog, Hunter.

Virginia Ellen Perry, 68, of Walker died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg.
She was born July 17, 1936, in Wood County, a daughter of the late James and Clair Province Mercer. She was a faithful Christian member and Sunday School teacher at Landmark Baptist Church and was a member of the Pioneer Antique Auto Club.

James L. "Jim" Ransbottom, 64, of Bartow, Fla., formerly of Parkersburg, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, at his residence.
Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport, Md. Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow, is in charge of arrangements.

Crystal Sue Cottrell, 52, born Jan. 14, 1952, in Clarington, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, Nov. 29, 2004.
Crystal is survived by her loving husband, George E. Cottrell; one daughter, Misty Dawn Cottrell; and one son, Larry E. Cottrell, all of St. Marys. Other surviving family members are sisters, Helen Petersen and her husband, Richard, and Violet Petersen, all of Woodsfield, Ohio; a brother, Ralph E. Petersen and his wife, Geraldine, of Sardis, Ohio; several nieces and nephews, Dean and Jenny Petersen and daughter, Hannah, Lisa, Trevor and Lornen Craig and Richie Ferguson; and special friend Susan.

Michael D. Croft, 50, of Parkersburg died Nov. 28, 2004, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Parkersburg, a son of the late Eric Geddes Croft and Sarah Doris Core Croft of Parkersburg. He had been employed by Valley Rich Dairy as a route salesman and was a member of the Woodmen of the World. He was an avid sports fan and woodworker, loved music and being at the beach, and above all, loved being with his family.

Annabelle Danison, 70, of Highland, Ill., formerly of Parkersburg and Wheeling, died Nov. 29, 2004, in Highland.
She was the daughter of Edwin and Mae (Deem) Jenkins; the mother of Lisa K. (Mark) Harris of Highland and Denise L. "Dee Dee" (Craig) Blankenship of Wheeling; a sister of Don (Betty) Jenkins of Belpre, Gary (Princess) Jenkins of Vienna and the late Paul Jenkins; and the former wife of Gene Danison of Wheeling.

Vorla E. Dotson, 91, of West Sixth Street, Williamstown died at her home at 7:26 a.m. Monday, Nov. 29, 2004.
She was born May 22, 1913, in Spencer, a daughter of the late Lucius and Mary Bower. She was a homemaker and had been nature adviser for the Girl Scouts for many years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Williamstown.

Mary Columbia Spencer Hall, 93, of Parkersburg died Nov. 28, 2004, at Eagle Pointe Nursing Facility.
Mary was born Oct. 15, 1911, in Wood County, a daughter of the late Harry Noble Spencer and Lydia Elizabeth Leedham Spencer. Mary had worked at the Parkersburg Shoe Factory, the American Viscose Co. and was a homemaker. She was a member of Epworth Methodist Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher and was a member of the choir for many years. She was a member of Chapter 140 of the Eastern Star, Bethany White Shrine 4 and Amarath Royal Court 5.

She was born Feb. 1, 1908, in Reedy, a daughter of the late Alonzo Eugene and Carrie Mason Moore. She was a homemaker and attended the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
