He was born Sept. 15, 1927, in Confluence, Pa., a son of the late Parke Reed and Clema Parnell Bender. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Williamstown.

Camden A. Moore
Camden A. Moore, 83, of Parkersburg passed from this life to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Nov. 21, 2004.
He was born on June 16, 1921, near Reedy, W.Va., a son of the late Alfonzo and Carrie Moore. He retired from the United Association of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union 486 and had previously worked as a carpenter with Carpenter's Local Union 899. He spent many years involved in water well oil and gas drilling. Camden was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served during the period of the Japanese invasion of Pearl Harbor. He was a Baptist by faith. He enjoyed gospel singing and had participated with friends and various groups singing in local churches.

Granville William "Bill" Sprague, 78, of Washington, W.Va., died Nov. 21, 2004, at his residence.
Bill was born Jan. 11, 1926, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Leonard and Zella Coon Sprague. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was retired from Kaiser Aluminum after 30 years of service. Bill was a wonderful husband and father and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Bertha Marie Duffy Grimm, 88, formerly of Belpre, recently of Overbrook Rehabilitation Center in Middleport, Ohio, passed away Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, at Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant, W.Va.
She was born on Oct. 15, 1916, to the late John and Lillian Mathews Duffy. She was a homemaker for most of her life.
Kevin L. Lupardus
Kevin Lee Lupardus, 41, of Mabscott, W.Va., formerly of Gandeeville, W.Va., died Nov. 20, 2004, from injuries sustained in a coal mining accident.
He was born Dec. 2, 1962, in Roane County, W.Va., a son of Darrell Lee and Jane May Lupardus of Gandeeville. He worked for Massey Coal as an excavator operator and formerly worked as an oil and gas driller and in construction. He was a 1981 Walton High School graduate, where he excelled in athletics and enjoyed hunting and other outdoor activities. He loved his family and enjoyed his friends.

She was born Aug. 3, 1923, in Sistersville, a daughter of the late James M. and Della M. Grimm Light. She was a member of the Faith Temple Church, Sistersville.

He was born July 20, 1973, in Parkersburg, a son of Charles E. and Barbara E. Bennett Metz of Elizabeth. He was a 1993 graduate of Calhoun County High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
