Ruth E. McElroy, 68, of West Union died Thursday, March 3, 2005, at Clarksburg, W.Va.

John R. Slate
John R. Slate, 58, of Parkersburg died March 2, 2005, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 30, 1946, in Charleston, W.Va., a son of the late Joseph "Ned" and Elizabeth Lancaster Slate.

Helen L. Suck
Helen L. Pepper Suck, 85, of Ravenswood died March 3, 2005, at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, W.Va.
She was born July 22, 1919, in Ravenswood, a daughter of the late Eskey and Nellie McMurray Pepper. She was a cook at the Green Hills Country Club for 17 years and retired in 1984. She was a member of the Silverton Methodist Church.

F. Leon Wilson
F. Leon Wilson, 71, of Ravenswood died March 2, 2005, at CAMC Memorial Division in Charleston, W.Va.

Irene P. Baldwin
Irene Perry Baldwin passed away peacefully March 1, 2005, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, with her daughter by her side, after a long illness.
She had made her home in Wirt County for 30 years.

Chester H. Burrows
Chester H. Burrows "Bubby," 76, passed away Mar. 1, 2005.
Born in Grantsville, W.Va., to the late Albert and Nora (Snyder) Burrows on Aug. 26, 1928, Chester lived in the Akron area most of his life. He retired from Consolidated Freight after 32 years of service and was also a proud member of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Evelyn M. Campbell
Evelyn M. Campbell, 77, of St. Marys died March 2, 2005.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, with visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today.

William E. Chester Sr.
William Eugene Chester Sr., 56, of Belpre died March 3, 2005, at Ohio University Hospital in Columbus. He was born in Jacksonville, Fla., and was the son of the late Carolyn Palmer Chester. He was a member of the Celebration Center in Belpre.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Jean Offenberger Chester; a son, William Eugene Chester Jr. of Coolville; a daughter, Layla Michelle Kinder of Havelock, N.C.; four grandchildren, Coty Genon Chester, Tristan Alexander Chester, Coewyn Kinder and Ross Kinder; one brother; five sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

Erma D. Craft
Erma Dean Craft, 71, of Spencer died March 2, 2005.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer, with visitation two hours prior to service.

Adrian M. Dennis
Adrian Michael Dennis, 32, of Belleville died March 1, 2005, at his residence.
He was born in Wood County, a son of Linda Terrell Rader and the late Michael Dennis.

Alda R. Eddy
Alda Ruth Eddy, 76, of Middlebourne died March 2, 2005.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Furbee Funeral Home, Middlebourne, with visitation from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today.

Michael C. Fore
Michael C. Fore, 33, passed away Feb. 28, 2005, at his home in Boaz.
He was born March 10, 1971. He was a 1989 graduate of Parkersburg High School.

Grace W. Northcraft
Grace Williamson Northcraft, 87, of Friendly, W.Va., died March 2, 2005, at Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home, Winchester, Va.
She was born Nov. 3, 1917, in Tyler County, W.Va., the daughter of the late Bryan C. Williamson and the late Ora Thorn Williamson.

Clyde E. Martin Sr.
Clyde Emerson Martin Sr., 76, of New Matamoras died March 3, 2005.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, with visitation from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday.

Larry P. Northcraft
Larry P. Northcraff, 60, of Norcross, Ga., died March 1, 2005, at the Fairview University Hospital, Minneapolis, Minn.
Arrangements will be announced by the Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys.

Helen C. Smith
Helen C. Smith, 83, of Harrisville died March 3, 2005, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was born Aug. 1, 1921, in Harrisville, the daughter of the late Gus and Abbie Snodgrass Bee.

Lillian M. Turrill
Lillian M. (Griffen) Turrill of Belpre died Jan. 18, 2005, in Coolville, Ohio.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Belpre Church of Christ. Arrangements by Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre.

F. Leon Wilson
F. Leon Wilson, 71, of Ravenswood died March 2, 2005, at CAMC Memorial Division, Charleston, W.Va.

Eula E. Davis
Eula E. Wilson Davis, 94, passed away Monday, Feb. 28, 2005.
Eula was a member of the Linden Community United Methodist Church for over 50 years and a resident of Columbus Colony for eight years.
