Sina May Pigott Bailey, 84, of Chester, Ohio, died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005, at the Rocksprings Rehabilitation Center near Pomeroy, following an extended illness.
She was born Dec. 17, 1920, in Long Bottom, Ohio, a daughter of the late Riley and Daile Coffman Pigott. In her early years, she attended church regularly at the Chester United Methodist Church.

Darrell H. Enoch
Darrell Hamilton Enoch, 91, of Vienna died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital following a short illness.
He was born June 26, 1913, in Wirt County, to the late Edmund G. and Minnie Kathryn Hill Enoch. In 1929, Darrell and his family moved to Vienna. He attended Neale School and was a 1933 graduate of Parkersburg High School. He was employed at the American Viscose plant for 15 years, then Libby Owens Ford (Johns Manville) for 28 years, retiring in 1978 at the age of 65. He was also a member of the Junior OUAM. After retirement, Darrell enjoyed woodworking, vacationing with his family and continuing to watch the young children in Vienna participate in VRIA sports.

Evelyn Julia Haught, 85, of Belpre died Feb. 25, 2005, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 25, 1919, in Fox Lake, Wis., a daughter of the late Frederick and Julia Mueller Radke. She moved to the area in 1945 after marrying her late husband, Jerry L. Haught.

Mr. Lewis Gene "Louie" Langler, 80, of Muskegon, Mich., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2005, quietly at his home following a two-year battle with pancreatic cancer.
He is survived by his children, Daniel (Julie) Langler of Humble, Texas, Sandy (Bob) Smith of Montague, Mich., Joanne Langler of Parkersburg and Anne (Larry) Kuiper of Grand Haven, Mich.; seven grandchildren, Amber and Luis Ortiz, Jarett and Elizabeth Langler, Shelley (Mark) Fairchild, Roberta (Kerry) Clements and Sara Kuiper; three great-grandchildren, David (Nina) Botello, Jen Clements and Charlie Fairchild; one sister, Marlene (Don) Groothuis of Muskegon; three sisters-in-law, Betty Hulka, Gert (Darryl) Barnes and Mary Langler; special friends, Betty and Harry Tanner; and several nieces and nephews.

He was born April 6, 1929, in Parkersburg, a son of the late A.P. and Virginia Hupp Brown. He retired from E.I. Dupont with 31 years of service. He was a graduate of Parkersburg High School, class of 1948, and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in Germany. He also attended Grace Brethren Church.

She was born Jan. 17, 1927, in Staffordshier, England, a daughter of the late Vincent and Ethel Thomas Jones. She was a homemaker who enjoyed knitting and was a member of the St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Belpre.
William Shields Sr.
William "Bill" Shields Sr., 69, of Parkersburg died Feb. 23, 2005, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
He was born April 11, 1935, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Walter H. and Ethel I. Carder Shields. He worked for Matlack Trucking Co. of New Martinsville for 14 years and retired in 2000. He was a member of Grace Gospel Church since 1977 and served as an usher. He enjoyed camping and walks in City Park with his brothers.
