Martha Jane Butcher, 83, of Eagle Pointe, Parkersburg, died April 28, 2005, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Butcher was born at Wheeling, W.Va., a daughter of the late John and Lena Rhodes Walton.
Harriette Carr
Harriette Carr died April 27, 2005, at Hospice in Dayton, Ohio.
She was born Dec. 15, 1910, in Cairo, W.Va., the daughter of Emma Gertrude and William Harry Fetty. She graduated from Cairo High School in 1928 and Mountain State Business College in Parkersburg. She began her career as a court reporter in West Virginia and later moved to Naples, Fla. She continued her work at the Dade County Courthouse there. She served as chair of the Public Relations Committee for the National Shorthand Reporters Association. She retired after 41 years as a professional court reporter and officer of the court. She retired to Parkersburg to make her home and later moved to Miamisburg, Ohio.

She was born in Washington County, Ohio, the daughter of the late J.M. and Mary Ann Watson Burnfield. She had worked for Morlang Meat Market in Parkersburg and Bud's Market in Belpre for many years.

Orpha Cayton Sullivan, 96, of Huntington, W.Va., formerly of Sandyville, died April 29, 2005, at The Inn at Wyngate, Barboursville, W.Va.
She was born Sept. 28, 1908, in Jackson County, a daughter of the late Samuel and Julia Cayton. She was a retired public school teacher with 30 years service in the Jackson County School System. She was a member of the Independence United Methodist Church for over 50 years.

Sadie Wagoner, 91, of Parkersburg, formerly of Leatherbark, W.Va., died April 29, 2005, at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation Center in Parkersburg.
She was born Feb. 23, 1914, in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Arthelia Kerby Roach. She was a homemaker and formerly attended the Leatherbark Community Church.

Doris (Coleen) Spencer, 65, of Rt. 1, Ellenboro (Finch Community), died on Friday, April 29, 2005, at Parkersburg.
Mrs. Spencer was born on Dec. 11, 1939, in Ritchie County, W.Va., to the late Clarence Carr and Merlin Whaley Carr Taylor. She was retired from the Pennsboro IGA, Pennsboro, where she had worked as a clerk. She was a member of the Pennsboro Church of God, Pennsboro.

Constance Ann "Connie" Radcliff, 51, of Route 1, Coxs Mills, W.Va., died at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2005, in Charleston Area Medical - Memorial Division in Charleston, W.Va., following an extended illness.
Born on Nov. 26, 1953, in Columbus, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Charles Franklin Jones and Edith Roxie (Estep) Jones Freshour.

He was born April 24, 1957, in Sistersville, a son of the late Kenneth H. Lohri and Doris J. Williams Lohri. He was an employee of G.E., Sistersville. He was a member of the Sistersville United Methodist Church, Phoenix Lodge 73 AF&AM, Sistersville, Nemesis Shrine Temple, Parkersburg, and BPOE 333 Sistersville.

He was born in Calhoun County, a son of the late Tillman and Pansy Trippett Starkey. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He retired from E.I. Dupont Co. of Parkersburg and was a former construction worker. He was a member of the Knotts Memorial United Methodist Church of Grantsville.

He was born Sept. 11, 1913, in Braxton County, W.Va., a son of the late Van and Lulu Underwood Stalnaker. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Gospel Baptist Church of Torch.

Frank B. Wenrick, 91, formerly of Delray Beach, Fla., and Dayton, Ohio, died April 28, 2005, at Sistersville General Hospital, Sistersville.
He was born Feb. 21, 1914, to the late Carrie (Coy) and Alvin D. Wenrick, on a dairy farm in Greene County, Ohio, which later became Walnut Grove Country Club.

She was born May 20, 1909, at Cedarville, W.Va., a daughter of the late Edwin and Madge Waggoner and was a resident of Parkersburg for many years.

Erma E. Childers, 87, of St. Marys died April 27, 2005, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was born Dec. 19, 1917, in Pleasants County, W.Va., a daughter of the late William and Theodoshia Griffith Reed. She was a 1934 graduate of St. Marys High School and attended Dewey Avenue Church of Christ.
Mary L. Fazzini
Mary Louise Fazzini, 84, of Clarksburg went home to be with her Lord 10:02 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2005, in the Worthington Manor Care Center, Parkersburg.
She was born in Clarksburg on Sept. 8, 1920, a daughter of the late Louis and Anna Fazzini and resided there until February 2004, when she moved to Parkersburg.
Donald I. Fouss
Donald I. Fouss, 72, of Lake Road, Belpre died Wednesday in St. Joseph's Hospital.
He was born Dec. 11, 1932, at Lower Salem, a son of the late Irvin D. Fouss and the late Muriel Close Fouss. The family moved to Marietta when he was nine years of age. He was a graduate of Marietta High School with the Class of 1950 and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, where he was stationed in Germany for three years during the Korean Conflict. Following his discharge, he was employed at the Universal Glass Co. in Vienna and was later employed with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He had been a lock man on the Willow Islands Locks until his retirement. He had been employed by the U.S. Government for a total of 37 years, 10 months and two days. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping and roller skating.
