He was born Sept. 25, 1941, in New Martinsville, W.Va., to the late Ross Jr. and Madelyn Calvert Harman.

Joseph J. Koch Jr., 84, of Parkersburg died Dec. 13, 2005, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born in McKeesport, Pa., a son of the late Joseph J. and Anna Manz Koch. Mr. Koch retired from Ford Motor Co. in Cleveland. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a graduate of Parkersburg High.

William E. "Bill" Parker, 85, of Belpre passed away Dec. 14, 2005, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.

Mary Regina "Gene" Mehl Sutton, 92, Sistersville, died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005, at The Heritage, St. Marys.
She and the late William Howard Sutton were married for 52 years until his death December 1986. They made their home in Sistersville, where she lived until February 2003.

Audrey Merle Bower, 91, of Elizabeth, went to be with the Lord Monday evening, Dec. 12, 2005, at her residence.
She was born in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Samuel and Theodosia Kendall. She was a member of the Big Island Run Methodist Church and a member of the Wirt County Senior Citizens.

David Lee Burdette, 60, of Beverly, Ohio, died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005, in Marietta Memorial Hospital.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Christ United Methodist Church, Marietta. Visitation will be all day today at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home, Marietta, and after 10 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Howard Collins
Howard Collins, 74, passed into the arms of his loving Lord, Monday morning, Dec. 12, 2005, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
Born in Wood County, he was the son of the late Earl Clarence and Lillie Hope Morgan. He was retired after more than 22 years from G.E. Plastics of Washington, W.Va., and was a member of the Hill Grove Baptist Church for many years, serving as deacon, trustee and superintendent. He loved to sing and enjoyed singing at the nursing homes in his "yellow" shirt. He was also past master and member of Burning Springs Lodge 132 AF&AM and veteran of the Korean Conflict serving with the U.S. Navy. He was a metal smith on the repair ship the U.S.S. Vulcan A-R5.
Maxine E. Fulmer
Maxine E. Fulmer, 86, of Belmont, W.Va., died Dec. 12, 2005, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
She was born May 9, 1919, in Ritchie County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Charley and Fannie Howard Allen. She was a member of the Belmont United Methodist Church. She graduated from St. Marys High School in 1936. She was retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1983, where she worked as assistant postmaster at the former Willow Island Post Office. She volunteered her time as a Girl Scout Leader and 4-H Leader. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and embroidering.

Cecil F. Sellers
Cecil Forest Sellers, 85, of Parkersburg passed away Monday, Dec. 12, 2005, at his home.
Cecil was born Feb. 23, 1920, at Wadesville, a son of the late John and Georgia Wigal Sellers. He was an active member of the Wadesville Church of Christ and was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, having served from 1942-1945. He was employed by Miller and Ruth Furniture Co. for 22 years and retired from the Wood County Board of Education maintenance department in 1982 with 11 years of service. He lived in the Wadesville area until 1977 when they moved to Parkersburg.

Mrs. Sellers was born in Wood County, a daughter of the late John and Juanita Holmes Beabout.
