George W. Troy, 84, of The Plains, Ohio, died Friday afternoon, Dec. 9, 2005, at Hickory Creek Nursing Center in The Plains.
He was born Nov. 6, 1921, in Hundred, W.Va., the son of the late Carl E. and Mary E. Milliken Troy. He was a 1940 graduate of Parkersburg High School and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

She was born March 14, 1933, in Jackson County, to the late Harry G. and Lora Flinn Patterson. She was a homemaker and a member of Soul's Refuge Church.
Jack E. Wolfe
Jack Edwin Wolfe, 76, of Rocky Point Road, Fleming, Ohio, died Saturday morning, Dec. 10, 2005.
He was born Oct. 26, 1929, in Clarksburg, W.Va., to Leslie O. and Freda B. Christopher Wolfe. He was a graduate of Vincent High School and had attended the Ohio State University and Marietta College. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict. He had owned and operated Wolfe's Sport Cycles Inc. in Belpre from 1965 to 1985. Prior to that, he had worked at Carborundum/AMEX for 15 years, while operating a motorcycle sales and repair shop out of his home. He was a founding member of the Pioneer Motorcycle Club and a lifetime member of The American Motorcycle Association. Jack dedicated his life to family, farm and cows.

Harry C. Andrews
Harry C. Andrews, 78, of Woodbridge, Va., died Dec. 7, 2005, in Woodbridge.
He was born in Clay, W.Va., on Dec. 19, 1926, the son of the late William Augusta and Hattie Stephenson Andrews. He had been a guidance counselor with the Middletown, Ohio, School System and retired from the Waterford School District in 1984, completing 34 years of service in education. He was a World War II Army veteran. He was a founding member of the Washington County Board of Mental Health and Retardation. Following his retirement in 1984, he and his wife moved to Florida where they made their home for 18 years, then moving to Woodbridge, Va., to live with their daughter.

Sidney Lee Branch, 80, of Reedsville, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 9, 2005.
He was born Aug. 10, 1925, at Coolville, Ohio, the son of the late Orland and Mary Tilton Branch and his stepmother, Tina Branch. He retired with 35 years of service from the Corps of Engineers at Greenup Locks and Dam in Kentucky. He was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Gospel Baptist Church.
C. Wayne Colvin
C. Wayne Colvin, 80, of Belpre died Dec. 9, 2005, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born at Rockland, Ohio, on Aug. 6, 1925, the son of the late Edwin and Myrtle S. Hawk Colvin. He was a member of the Universalist Church in Belpre and attended the Belpre Nazarene Church. As a youth, he had worked for Thomas Service Station in Belpre. He retired from E. I. DuPont after 35 years of service. He was a veteran of World War II, having received two Purple Hearts. He was a member of Post 15 of the American Legion in Parkersburg.

She was born in Copen, W.Va., the daughter of the late Dale and Ethel Bosley Davis. She was Baptist by faith. She worked for Superior Dry Cleaners and was a member of the Parkersburg Eastern Stars.

Carolyn S. Jack, 57, of Vienna died Friday, Dec. 9, 2005, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Ira G. Bond and Jo Ann Shumway Bond of Vienna. She was Protestant by faith and attended local churches.
Arthur L. Mosely Jr.
Arthur Lee Mosely Jr., 84, of St. Marys died Dec. 9, 2005, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 13, 1921, in San Francisco, Calif., a son of the late Arthur Lee Sr. and Ruth Betsy Paulson Mosely. He was a 1938 graduate of Balboa High School. He worked both with the shipyard and Bethlehem Steel Co. in San Francisco before joining the service. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Air Corps. The Army Air Corps cadet training was at Marietta College and it was during this training that he met his wife, Maxine. He was in the service for three years. He returned to San Francisco and lived there for 13 years, where he worked as an electrician for Enterprise Electric and other electric companies. He and his family moved back to the Mid-Ohio Valley in the 1950's. He was retired from Union Carbide after 33 years, he served on St. Marys City Council for two terms and he was a member of the St. Marys United Methodist Church and a Sunday School teacher. He was a past master and member of the St. Marys Lodge 41 A.F. & A.M., a past PTA president and a former scoutmaster for Troop 28 of St. Marys. He loved his family and his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Stephanie L. Nohe
Stephanie Louise Nohe, 25, of La Plata, Md., died suddenly on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2005, at Shock Trauma's University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore, Md., as a result of a car accident.
Stephanie was a 1998 La Plata High School graduate and former cheerleader. She had also taken dance and gymnastics for 10 years. Stephanie had a degree in engineering drafting technology from the Maryland Drafting Institute and was currently a nursing student at the College of Southern Maryland. More than anything, Stephanie loved her family, her many friends and her beloved pets.
Harold L. Rauch
Harold Lawrence Rauch, 76, of Watertown Road, Waterford, Ohio, died at 7:05 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, 2005, at The Inn at Marietta.
He was born July 9, 1929, in Marietta, to Albert and Helen Holden Rauch. He was a graduate of Waterford High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He had retired from American Electric Power in Waterford in 1991, following 37 years of employment. He had also farmed in the Waterford area. Harold was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society, Lowell American Legion Post 750, Washington County Farm Bureau and the AEP Retirees Club. Harold enjoyed farming, his antique Model A Ford and time spent with his grandchildren.
