Gennive Hudkins
Gennive Hudkins, 97, of Sutton, WV died Tuesday, May 20, 2003 in the Braxton County Memorial Hospital at Gassaway, after a long illness. She was born April 9, 1906, at Hyer, WV, a daughter of the late Eldridge M. Jones & Nancy Melissa Pullin Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband O.B. Hudkins in 1951, 6 brothers & 2 sisters.
Surviving, sister, Flora Westfall of Stubenville, Ohio & several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 22 in the Stockert-Gibson Funeral Home with Rev. Ressie Robison officiating. Burial followed in the Morrison Cemetery near Sutton.
Marvin E. Hill, Sr.
Marvin E. Hill, Sr., 71, died Thursday, May 8, 2003.
He was a native of West Virginia. He moved to the Norfolk area in 1953. Marvin was a carpenter and then became a building contractor. In the early 1960s he worked as a longshoreman and gangleader for ILA 970 and retired from there in 1988.
Marvin was a loving husband and father. He was an avid race car fan.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Humphreys Hill, she is the daughter of the late Levi and Mary Humphreys; two children; son, Marvin Edwin Hill Jr. and his wife Deborah P. Hill of Chesapeake, and, and daughter, Carolyn Lee Knowles and her husband Gary Layne Knowles of Virginia Beach; brother, Charles Hill Jr. and his wife Edith Ann of Virginia Beach; and two sisters, Jenifee Balmer of Texas and Lora Mae and her husband Marvin 'Bud' Smith of West Virginia; as well as many other close family members and friends.
A graveside service was held Monday at 11:00 a.m. in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, he family wishes donations be made to Providence Presbyterian Church's Mortgage Retirement Fund, 5497 Providence Road, Virginia Beach, Va 23464. Helen Conley
Helen Conley, 81, of Burnsville, WV, died Tuesday, May 20, 2003, in the Braxton County Memorial Hospital at Gassaway, after a short illness. She was born May 8, 1922, at Dutch, WV a daughter of the late P.C. Conley & Lina Riffle Conley. She was also preceded in death by one nephew. Helen was a former clerk for Marple's Store in Burnsville Apostolic Church of the Apostles.
Surviving: sister, Kathelene Conrad of Burnsville, WV; brother, Sam Conley of Youngstown, Ohio; 6 nieces and 1 nephew; 11 great nieces and nephews and 3 great, great nieces & nephews.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 24 at the Stockert-Gibson Funeral Home with Rev. Johnnie Verton officiating. Burial followed in the Little Kanawha Memorial Gardens near Heaters, WV.
Dallas Carr
Services for Dallas Carr, U.S.A.F. retired Senior Master Sergeant, were held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday at Bryan-Baker Funeral Home in Fairfield.
Mr. Carr died suddenly Monday at his home in Fairfield, CA. Born to Annis and Losie Carr of Frametown, West Virginia, Mr. Carr attended grade school in a one-room schoolhouse and tended the crops and animals of his parents '280-acre farm. He also taught himself to play the piano.
Enlisting in the U.S. Air Force at just 17 years of age, Mr. Carr served his country for 24 years. His duties began as an Air Force photographer; he was them trained in search and rescue missions. Mr. Carr ended his career as a Loadmaster. His military service took him all over the world.
Mr. Carr participated in historical events such as the Berlin Airlift following WWII and the Congo Crisis of the 1960s. He served multiple tours of duty in Vietnam during which time he was instrumental in the rescue of six fellow soldiers from certain capture by enemy forces. For this bravery he was decorated with the Flying Cross.
After retiring from the Air Force, Mr. Carr continued to serve his country while working at Mare Island Naval Shipyard until 1990, whereupon he retired permanently.
Mr. Carr was an active citizen participating in the Loadmasters' Association, the 28th Military Airlift Squadron (MAS) Historical Association, and the Committee to Save Travis Air Force Base. At the time of his death, Mr. Carr had been serving tirelessly at the Fairfield Senior Center for which he received a 1,000+ hours volunteer award.
Survivors include his wife Alicia of Fairfield, brother Dennis of Lansing, MI, sister Elsie Salazar of New York City, son Charles of Newhall, CA, daughters Joyce Berger of Bothell, WA, Janice Doyle of Spokane, WA, Elisabeth Scott of Folsom, CA, Cheryl Child of Logan, UT and grandchildren Simon and Amy Carr; Kristina and Katherine Berger; Ashley Frazier and Nathan Child; and Andrew, Aaron and Amanda Scott. Mr. Carr is preceded in death by his brother Delmer of West Virginia.
Howard D. Ice
Howard D. Ice, 88, of Duck, WV died Monday, May 5, 2003 at Charleston Area Medical Center, Charleston, WV.
He was a son of the late Samuel and Adaline Hardway Ice. He was a Christian and life long gospel singer.
He is survived by sons, Jerry Ice and wife Pam of Wooster, OH; Johnny Ice and wife, Betty of Akron, Ohio, David Ice and his wife Trecia of St. Joe, In; Ricky Ice and wife Melissa of Elmira, WV and Roger Ice of Elmira, WV; daughters, Nedra Cutlip of Elmira, WV and Reta Tanner and husband Ronald of Big Otter, WV; sisters, Edith Lack of Akron, Ohio and Gladys May of CA; one brother, Denver Ice of Belpre, Ohio and 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by wife, Audra P. Ice, 2 sons, Larry E. Ice and James D. Ice, one grandson, Timothy Wayne Cutlip and one great-grandson, Nicholas Hart.
Funeral services were held at Gip Church near Elmira on Thursday, May 8 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Darrell Mollohan officiating. Interment was in the Hardway Cemetery, near Elmira.
Evelyn Long
Evelyn Long, 74, of Flatwoods, WV formerly of Little Birch, WV died May 20, 2003 in Braxton County Memorial Hospital, Gassaway, WV following a short illness.
She was born November 26, 1928 in Braxton County the daughter of the late Edmund and Lucy Adkins Murphy.
Mrs. Long was a homemaker.
Also preceding her in death was her husband Ray Long; and 2 brothers Melvine and Herold Murphy.
She is survived by 4 brothers Bernard Murphy of Hartville, OH, Leonard Murphy of Cottle, WV, Herman and Buren Murphy of Birch River, WV; and 1 sister Margie Crislip of Burnsville, WV. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Graveside services were held Friday, May 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Little Birch Community Church Cemetery, Little Birch, WV with Rev. Bobby Harper officiating. Greene-Robertson Funeral Home served the Long family.
Glenda E. Rose
Glenda E. Rose, 94, of Birch River, WV, died May 24, 2003, in the C.A.M.C., General Division, Charleston, WV after a short illness. She was born on May 9, 1909, at Little Birch, WV, the daughter of the late Warner and Mary Jane Cutlip Jackson. Mrs. Rose was a Baptist, and a homemaker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bert T. Rose; 4 sons, 3 daughters, 3 brothers, and 4 sisters.
She is survived by her sons, Bob of Gassaway, Vernon of Oroville, California, and Jerry of Sutton; and daughters, Avinell Hopkins, Jo Ann Workman, and Katheryn Holmes all of Birch River. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 14 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 27, at 1:00 p.m. at the Greene-Robertson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bobbie Harper officiating. Burial was in the Hoover Cemetery, near Birch River. Greene-Robertson Funeral Home, Sutton, was serving the Rose Family.
Gordon B. Given
Gordon B. Given, 90, of Frametown died May 23, 2003 at home.
He was a coal miner and a Methodist.
Surviving: son, Gordon Gary Given of Virginia; daughter, Shelda Jean Moore of Frametown; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 great, great grandchildren.
Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 26 at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway with Pastor Mark Minney officiating. Burial was in the Sugar Creek Cemetery, Gassaway.
Goldie Rogers Collins
Goldie Rogers Collins, 97, of Burnsville died June 1, 2003 at the home of her daughter Audry Conrad following a long illness.
She was born April 7, 1906 the daughter of the late David and Lydia Allen Rogers.
Mrs. Collins was a Christian, a homemaker and an avid quilt maker.
Also preceding her in death were her husbands Henry Belknap, Jr. and Claude L. Collins; 2 sons Edwin Belknap and Billie Davie Belknap; 1 daughter Mildred B. Curley; 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
She is survived by one son Bob Joe Belknap of Kentucky; and one daughter Audry Conrad of Burnsville, WV; 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 5 at 11:00 a.m. at Greene-Robertson Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Wilson officiating. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery near Gassaway, WV.

Esther Kniceley Summers
Esther Kniceley Summers, 85, a resident of Heartland of Charleston for the past two years, died June 2, 2003.
She was born March 8, 1918, at Cowskin, Braxton County a daughter of the late Harland and Eugenia Talkington.
She was a homemaker and retired from the Cleveland Clinic Hospital, Cleveland, OH; and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by husbands, James Kniceley and Bill Summers; son, Gene Kniceley.
Surviving: daughter-in-law, Connie Sirianni of Beckley; brothers, George Talkington of Warren, OH and Melvin Talkington of Lewisville, OH; sisters Lula Acree of Cleveland, OH and Thelma Tucker of Walker, WV; granddaughter, Diana Powell of Beckley; grandson, James Kniceley of Indianapolis, IN; great grandchildren, Amanda, Melissa and Aaron Kniceley all of Indianapolis, IN and Kyle Thompson and Logan Powell both of Beckley.
Services were held at Noon on Saturday, June 7 at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home in Gassaway with Pastor Halman Nettles and Steven Talkington officiating. Burial was in the Kniceley Cemetery, Cowskin.
Willie Burnside
Willie Burnside, 99, of Ivydale, died June 5th at Roane General Hospital, Spencer.
Born in Clay County, he was the son of the late Decker and Verna Tanner Burnside. He was a coal miner and a saw mill operator, was a member of the Hallsburg Baptist Church at Hallsburg. He was the last member of the Burnside Gospel Quartet and was a well known gospel singer for 65 years.
Willie was loved and adored by all who came in contact with him. The gifts God bestowed upon him served him well for 99 years. He loved God, he loved life, he loved his children, he proudly adored his grandchildren and treasured each friend. He was blessed with wisdom and a wonderful sense of humor.
Surviving are one son, Shirley Burnside of Ivydale and 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Burnside and 1 son, Harrison Burnside and one daughter, Opal Rogers.
Funeral services were held Sunday, June 8 at 2:30 p.m. at the Nebo Baptist Church at Nebo, WV. with Rev. Darrell Mollohan officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Violet B. Jenkins
Violet B. Jenkins, 81, died at home Friday, June 6, 2003.
Born September 17, 1921 in Braxton County, West Virginia she was a daughter of the late Silas and Leta Stewart Carr. She had lived in Russell County the past 15 years and was of the Baptist faith. She was the widow of her first husband, Jessie Lee Hamric and her second husband Archie Jenkins.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Taylor; a granddaughter: Rhonda Osborne; and a sister: Eunice Carr.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Marshall and Annette Hamric, and Mike and Cheryl Hamric all of Akron, OH< and Ronnie and Linda Hamric, Lebanon; grandchildren: Jerry Hamric, Craig Hamric, Ryan Hamric, Neil Hamric, Tony Hamric, Matthew Chafin, Ann Fields, Bridgett Chafin, Connie Trent, Pam Green, Debbie Wright, Jessie Hamric, David Hamric, Barbara Keggly, Karne Atwood, Brenda Carpenter, Marie Taylor, and Sandy Remines; also 10 great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Bollinger of Gassaway; two brothers: Bill Carr of Spencer and Vernon Carr of Alabama; also several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was conducted at 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 9 in the Combs Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Bill Crawford officiating. The committal service and burial was at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 10 in the Frame Cemetery, Frametown with the grandsons serving as pallbearers.

Nola June James
Nola June James, 70, of Frametown, died June 5, 2003 of complications from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born November 16, 1932 in Marfrance, Greenbrier County, to the late Carl and Myrtle Teets Browning. She was a former teacher's aide for Braxton County High School and she was self-employed as a tax preparer. She was a 50 year member of the Spruce Grove United Methodist, where she currently held the office of secretary and treasurer. She was also a charter member of the UM Christian Women in Action. She was a 50-year member of the Gassaway OES No. 32, where she was currently worthy matron for the 2002-03 year. She was a past matron of Gassaway OES No. 82, on the board of directors of the Braxton County Senior Citizens, past president of GFWC - Woman's Club of Gassaway, and past grand representative of Mississippi in West Virginia, Gassaway OES No. 32 from 1996 to 1998.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Fred L. James of Frametown; one son, Danny L. James and wife, Cherie J. James of Warrenton, Va; one daughter, Janet L. Lemon and husband, John D. Lemon of Elkview; two brothers, the Rev. Rondal Browning and wife, Carol of Mason and the Rev. Melvin 'Doog' Browning and wife Betty of Wooster, Ohio; two sisters, Ms. Norma G. Snyder of Dover, Ohio and Mrs. Bonnie C. Ferguson and husband, Byron of Cambridge, Ohio; two aunts, Ms. Marvel Browning and Ms. Marjorie Young both of Strange Creek; one uncle, the Rev. Medford Teets and wife Thelma of Strange Creek; three grandchildren, Jennifer L. Blake and fiance' Aaron Wentz of Charleston, Jonathon D. James and Nicholas R. James of Warrenton, Va.
Nola was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her hobbies included gardening, attending church, Eastern Star, painting classes and potluck suppers. She most enjoyed trips to the beach, spending time with family and friends and making routine shopping visits to the Dollar Store. Nola will be sadly missed by all those who love her.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 9 at 11:00 a.m. at the Spruce Grove United Methodist Church, Frametown, with Rev. Roger Dunlap and the Rev. Larry Conrad officiating. Burial followed in the Sugar Creek Cemetery. The Eastern Star Memorial was held Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Richard M. Roach Funeral Home.

Sylvia M. Cole
Sylvia M. Cole, 86 of Davison Rt., Gassaway, died June 7, 2003 at home after a long illness.
She was a farmer, a Methodist and a life-long resident of Braxton County.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Amanda Belknap Cole Horner and father James Cole also her stepfather, A.N. Horner.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 10 at Fairview Cemetery, Chapel with Rev. Larry Conrad officiating.
Betty Louise Linger
Betty Louise Linger, 71, of Glenville, WV, died Saturday, June 7, 2003, at the home of her daughter. She was born December 28, 1931, in Gilmer Co., a daughter of the late Charlie & Pearl Greenlief Pyles of Glenville, WV. She was also preceded in death by husbands Henry Lee Luzader, Richard Nelson Linger and granddaughter, Angela Parsons. Betty retired from Glenville State College as a food service worker. She was a member of the Little Kanawha Independent Church and the Glenville Rebecca Lodge.
Surviving daughters: Anna Parsons of Parkersburg, WV, Ruthlea Jarrell of Cleveland, TN, Marlene K. Fox of Glenville, WV and Rose Mary Douglas-Hylbert of Charleston, WV; son, Roger Lee Luzader of Glenville, WV; several half brothers and sisters; grandchildren: Monica Thomas, Jessie Ramsey, Bryan Luzader, Sarah Douglas and Larry Fox; great granddaughter, Aryanna Thomas.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 10 at the Little Kanawha Independent Church at Burnsville, with Rev. Ronzel Roberts officiating. Burial followed in the Sand Fork Cemetery.
Kenneth Carl McLaughlin
Kenneth Carl McLaughlin, 63, of Sutton, died July 25, 2003 at home. He was born July 4, 1940, a son of Beulah Brady McLaughlin of Reinholds, PA and the late Jake McLaughlin.
He was a retired construction worker, an Army veteran, and attended the Prophetic House of Prayer in Flatwoods.
Besides his father he was also preceded in death by twin daughters, Tammy and Katy; brother, James McLaughlin; and sisters, Sue Dubose and Donnis Smith. Surviving; daughters, Candy Dennison of Gassaway and Robin Dennison of Riffle; brothers, Paul McLaughlin of Reinholds, PA, Steve McLaughlin of Pinch, Richard McLaughlin of Parkton, NC; sisters, Billie Beckwich and Lynn McLaughlin both of Reinholds, PA; granddaughters Katy and Alicia.
Services were at 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 28, at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home with Pastor Sheila Baughman officiating. Burial will be in the Otter Hill Cemetery, Gassaway. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. till time of service at the funeral home.
Janet Lee Sears
Janet Lee Sears, 57, of Gassaway, died July 25, at home. She was born March 13, 1946 in Ohio, a daughter of the late Leopold and Vivian Stanwoski. She was a cook, and for the last eight years worked at the rest areas. She was a Methodist. Surviving; husband, Carl Sears, step-son, Jason Sears of Morgantown; step-daughter, Tract Sears of San Diego, CA; sisters, Rochele Stanwoski and Denise Summers, both of Sutton; step-grandson, Jonathan Wesley Sears.
The body was cremated.

Edith Singleton
Edith Singleton, 97, of Grantsville, WV, died Monday, July 21, 2003, at the home of her daughter. She was born July 22, 1905, at Gem, WV, the daughter of the late James E. Wine and Mary Louverna Conrad Wine. She was a Christion and a homemaker. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Raymond A. Singleton in April 1956, and daughters Mary Ellen, Betty Lee, and Rebecca Ann Singleton.
Surviving: Daughters, Mildred L. Ward and Lula L. 'Jean' Ward and her husband Arley, all of Grantsville, WV, and Carldetta Weber and husband Edward of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; Sons, Roland 'Cub' Singleton of Leon, WV, Van B. Singleton and wife Francis of Diamond, Ohio, and Amos Singleton and wife Wanda of Burnsville, WV; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 23, 2003, at the Stockert-Gibson Funeral Home with Rev. Alfred Hickman officiating. Burial will follow in the Wirt Lee Singleton Cemetery at Grass Run, WV. Friends may call from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Stockert-Gibson Funeral Home in Flatwoods, WV. Joy E. Hodges
Joy E. Hodges, 89, of Gassaway, WV, died July 20, 2003, in Plateau Medical Center, Oak Hill, WV, following a long illness. She was born January 22, 1914, in Clay, WV, the daughter of the late Herbert E. and Elsie King Bailes.
Mrs. Hodges was a member of the Gassaway Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Glenville State College and retired with 32 years teaching experience in Braxton County Schools. She was a member of the Braxton County Retired Teachers Association, Alpha Delta Kappa, Gassaway Women's Club, and Eastern Star.
Also preceeding her in death was her husband Thomas Hodges, Sr., who died in 1971.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas Hodges, Jr. of Athens, Ohio, and Brent R. Hodges of Newville, WV; two daughters, Ellen Cannon of South Charleston, WV, and Emily Moore of Webster Springs, WV. Also surviving are four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, July 24, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. at the Sugar Creek Cemetery, Gassaway, WV, with Rev. Mark Stump officiating.

Orville Lee Martin
Orville Lee Martin, 79, of Birch River, WV, died November 21, 2003 in Beckley ARH Hospital, Beckley, WV following a long illness. He was born January 6, 1924 in Birch River, WV, the son of the late Worthy O. and Lena Bell Butcher Martin.
Mr. Martin was a Baptist and a steel plant employee.
Also preceding him in death were three brothers, Olvin, Darrell and James Martin.
He is survived by one brother, Verlin B. Martin of North Lawrence, OH; two sisters, Louise Revak of Tamaqua, PA, and Dotty Keener of Proctor, WV; and long time friend Bailey Walker.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at 1 p.m. at Greene-Robertson Funeral Home, Sutton, WV.
Burial was in the Mt. Olive Cemetery near Sutton.
Mabel Estok
Mabel Estok, 78, of Virginia Beach, VA, formerly of Braxton County, died November 20, 2003 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Virginia Beach, VA.
She was born January 5, 1925, a daughter of the late Lantie and Ivy Davis Jones.
She was a homemaker and a machinery operator in Ohio. She was a Protestant.
Surviving: son, Darrell Buxton of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren.
Services were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 26, at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway, with Rev. Larry Conrad officiating. Burial was in the Jack Point Cemetery, Servia.
Gilfred L. Riffle
Gilfred L. Riffle, 65, of Exchange, died November 24, 2003 at home.
He was born July 23, 1938 in Connecticut, a son of the late Thelmer and Elsie Crouch Riffle.
Surviving: brothers, George Allen Riffle of Virginia Beach, VA, Gene Steven Riffle of Mystic, CT, Gilbert Peckham Riffle of Burnsville, Granville Ray Riffle of Exchange, Gerald Glen Riffle of Ledyard, CT; sisters, Gloria Ann Wilson of Exchange, Glenna May McWilliams of Naples, FL and Gwendolin May Carr of Wilsie.
A joint service with his mother, Elsie Riffle, was held Sunday, November 30 at the Cutlipsville United Methodist Church with the Rev. William Griffin officiating.
The body was cremated.

Wilber Broaddus Butcher
Wilber Broaddus Butcher, 92, of Gassaway, WV, died Tuesday, November 25, 2003 at Braxton County Memorial Hospital, following a short illness.
He was born April 14, 1911 near Gassaway, WV, a son of the late Andrew and Mary Douglas Butcher.
He was a member of the Gassaway United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge No. 133, V.F.W., American Legion and the Gassaway Lion's Club.
He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the Pacific region, including Hawaii, Australia, New Guinea and the Philippine Islands for 38 months.
He was married to Gladys Crockett, daughter of the late Christopher C. and Nora Rader Crockett on January 11, 1942.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, J. Arthur Butcher of Athens, Ohio.
He retired from Central Petroleum Company Distributor for Gulf Oil Corporation in 1979, as Secretary and Treasurer with 30 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys C. Butcher; several nieces and nephews, along with many friends and neighbors.
Service was held at 2 p.m., Sunday, November 30, 2003, at the Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway, with Rev. Stephen J. White and Rev. Gene Adkins officiating. Burial with Masonic Rites followed in the Beall's Mill Cemetery, Gassaway.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Gassaway United Methodist Church, Braxton and Seventh Streets, Gassaway, West Virginia 26624.
Elsie L. Riffle
Elsie L. Riffle, 95, of Exchange, died November 24, 2003 at home.
She was born September 7, 1908 in Connecticut, a daughter of the late Alfton and Hattie Crouch.
Surviving: sons, George Allen Riffle of Virginia Beach, VA, Gene Steven Riffle of Mystic, CT, Gilbert Peckham Riffle of Burnsville, Granville Ray Riffle of Exchange, Gerald Glen Riffle of Ledyard, CT; daughters, Gloria Ann Wilson of Exchange, Glenna May McWilliams of Naples, FL and Gwendolin May Carr of Wilsie. Also surviving are 65+ grandchildren.
Service was held 11 a.m., Sunday, November 30 at the Cutlipsville United Methodist Church, with the Rev. William Griffin officiating. Burial followed in the Cutlip Cemetery, Exchange.
Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway, was in charge of the arrangements.
