Surviving: husband, Harold Gillispie; son, Mark Gillispie of Alum Creek; daughters, Shirley Rhodes of Evans, Christine Gillenwater of Alum Creek, Kathy Gillispie of South Charleston; sisters, Faye Stewart and Nina Mallory, both of South Charleston; brother, Wayne Adkins; three grandchildren. Service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, with Pastor Frank Chapman officiating. Burial will be in Barker Cemetery, Ashford. Surviving: sons, Raymond McCray and Eric Harris, both of Washington; daughters, Valarie Green of Washington, Rita Johnson of Fort Washington, Md., Marsha Brown of Suitland, Md.; brother, Isaac McCray of Cleveland; sisters, Eloise Hurley of Columbia, S.C., Emma Jean Pugh of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Mary Parker of Washington; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Service was May 5 at Mentrone Baptist Church, Washington. Burial was in Quantico National Cemetery, Quantico, Va. Rollins Funeral Home, Washington, was in charge of arrangements.

She was retired from South Charleston Greenhouse and Hamill Floral with 29 years' service and a member of Southern Baptist Church, Palm Bay, Fla., St. Albans Women of the Moose and the Eagles. Surviving: son, Charles W. Hinkle of South Charleston; sisters, Ernestine M. Grandin of South Charleston, Irene Paris of Gahanna, Ohio; granddaughter, Martie Hinkle of South Charleston. Memorial graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes, with the Rev. Laird Fain officiating. There will be no visitation. Benjamin Parker Lane, 3-month-old son of John Scott and Deborah R. Lane of St. Albans, died May 8, 1998, in Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston, after a short illness. She was a retired West Virginia government employee and a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Cross Lanes Woman's Club and Eastern Star. She was a retired chef from the Union Carbide cafeteria, Institute, a former chef at Woodrum Tea Room, Charleston, former president of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post 73, St. Albans, member of VFW Auxiliary 6318, St. Albans Women of the Moose Lodge 868, and St. Albans Women's Club Department of Community Service. Surviving: daughter, Martha J. Bradford of St. Albans; sisters, Mary Lane of St. Albans, Neva Decker of Culloden; brother, James Robert Cummings of Wasco, Calif.; one grandson; two great-grandchildren. He was a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School, Charleston, and was a salesman for building and window suppliers for various wholesalers on the East Coast and Canada with 30 years' service. Surviving: wife, Irene "Renie" Graver Unger; sons, Jeffrey D. of Boston, Daniel M. Jr. of Allentown; daughter, Terri Ruth Unger of Boston; brothers, William M. Jr. of Patterson Creek, W.Va., Stephen H. of Charleston; three grandchildren. Service was private. Trexler Funeral Home, Allentown, was in charge of arrangements.
