She was a native of Maui, Hawaii, a graduate of the University of Hawaii, received her graduate degree in chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania and was a retired chemist from Union Carbide, South Charleston, W.Va. Surviving: husband, Lewis A. Bowen; mother, Soon Yee Kim Song of Wahiawa, Hawaii; sister, Julia Kim Milne of Wahiawa; brother, Iksoo Kim of Wahiawa. He was a member, trustee and vestory member of Calvary Episcopal Church, Montgomery, a retired wholesale distributor and former owner of Montgomery Warehouse, a World War II first lieutenant in the Army Infantry, member of the National Order of Battlefield Commissions, past member of Montgomery Rotary Club and Lions Club and a former director and member of the West Virginia Wholesalers Association. Surviving: wife, Georgia Farha Hamra; daughters, Donna Kay Hamra of Charleston, Christa Maria Phillips of Cross Lanes; sons, Brian D. Hamra of Charleston, David Alam Hamra of Los Angeles, Calif.; sister, Rose Naifeh of Sun City, Ariz.; four grandchildren. Surviving: son, William Addison Linhart of Charleston; nephews, William T. Sleeman of Titusville, Fla., John K. Sleeman of Charlottesville, Va. Memorial service will be at a later date.
