She was a retired nurse from CAMC, Memorial Division, with 20 years of service, a member of Morris Memorial United Methodist Church, graduated from Mountain State Hospital School of Nursing and was a member of Mountain State Hospital Alumni Association.

She was a retired elementary schoolteacher, having taught in Calhoun, Ritchie and Wood counties, and in Hawaii. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Grantsville, DAR, Order of the Eastern Star, Rebekah Lodge and Calhoun County Retired Teachers Association.

ALLAMUCHY, N.J. -- Harold E. Sullivan, 70, of Allamuchy, formerly of South Charleston, W.Va., died Friday, Jan. 9, 1998, in Hackettstown (N.J.) Community Hospital after a short illness. He was a native of South Charleston, a retired chemist from Southland Corp., Great Meadows, N.J., past president of Chemical Compounds, Newark, N.J., and a life member of Knights of Columbus. He was a two-time graduate of Morris Harvey College with degrees in business and chemistry.

George E. Darlington
GREENVILLE, S.C. -- George E. Darlington, 70, of Greenville, formerly of Charleston, W.Va., died Monday, Jan. 5, 1998, in Greenville after a short illness. He was the former associate pastor of Bible Center Church, Charleston, retiring in 1993 with 21 years of service. His work at the church included the supervision of the Sunday school, children's church and adult Bible studies, the initiation of the AWANA program, overseeing the construction of the Oakhurst Drive facilities, the initiation of the Bible Center Day Care and Christian School and managing the budget and support staff. He also established the Men and Women for Missions work teams. Upon retiring, he helped with the church consulting ministry, Church Growth Services, through which 100 churches throughout the East Coast developed long-range plans for growth.
Surviving: wife, Jean Darlington; daughter, Jackie Eaves of Greenville; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Memorial service will be 7 p.m. today at Bible Center Church with the Rev. Robert K.
