She was received nurses training from Gordon's Memorial Hospital, Spencer, and attended Faith Bible Church, Williamstown.
Surviving: sister, Ruth Pursley of Williamstown; brother, Charles H. Rhodes with whom she resided; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be Saturday at Faith Bible Church with Pastor Ray Witmer III officiating. Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Rocky Branch Cemetery, Walton.

WOOSTER, Ohio -- Grant Holcomb, 57, of Wooster, formerly of Fola, W.Va., died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001, at home after a short illness.
He was an employee of Tempkins Roller Bearing Co., Wooster, a Navy veteran and a member of Fola Baptist Church.

DANIELS -- Irene Scott Keesee, 97, of Daniels died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001, after a long illness.
She was a retired schoolteacher, having taught in Raleigh and McDowell counties. She was a member of Grandview Christian Church and the Raleigh County Retired Teachers Association, past president of the Shady Spring Garden Club and a volunteer at Pinecrest Hospital and the VA Medical Center, Beckley.

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. -- Alexander P. Kenna, 83, of Peachtree City, formerly of St. Albans, W.Va., died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001.
He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, St. Albans, was retired from Union Carbide, Institute, W.Va., and was a Navy veteran of World War II.

He was a graduate of DuPont High School and had attended Morris Harvey College, Charleston. He was a native of Charleston, had attended Monroe (N.C.) Pentecostal Holiness Church and was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

He was a member of Kappa Delta Phi and the Old Kanawha Baptist Church, Pratt, a lifelong resident of the upper Kanawha Valley and an Army veteran of World War II.
