She was a former Kanawha County schoolteacher and a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church, Daughters of the American Revolution and the Women's Club of West Virginia.

Dallas Wayne Fields, 73, of Clendenin, formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1998, in CAMC, Memorial Division, after a long illness.
He was a retired employee of LTV Steel with 35 years of service, attended Church of God of Prophecy, Clendenin, was a member of Steel Workers Union and an Army veteran of World War II.

LACEYS SPRING, Ala. -- Gwendolyn A. Harrison Grady, 65, of Laceys Spring died Monday, Feb. 2, 1998, in Huntsville, Ala.
She was a native of Dunbar, W.Va., a graduate of Calhoun College, a retired Army master sergeant with more than 20 years of service, a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Laceys Spring, a former librarian and Sunday school teacher.

LUTZ, Fla. -- Kyle T. Graley III, 19, of Lutz died Saturday, Jan. 31, 1998, from injuries received in an automobile accident on State Route 41, Tampa, Fla., said a spokeswoman at the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner's Office.
He attended Judson High School, San Antonio, Texas, for three years, was a 1997 graduate of Land of Lakes High School in Florida, attended ITT Tech, Tampa, and Emmons Church of God, Emmons, W.Va.

He was a retired division president and general manager of Contel Telephone Corp., a Marine Corps veteran of World War II, an executive member of Forest Lakes Homeowners Association, former Jaycees president in West Virginia, a member of Rotary International, Independent Telephone Pioneers Association and Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, Phoenix, and was a former board member of Rocky Mountain Telephone Association.

Margaret "Maggie" McGhee, 78, of Charleston died Tuesday in Good Living Personal Care Home, Malden.
She was a native of Charleston, a graduate of Charleston High School and a member of Elizabeth Memorial Presbyterian Church. She was employed as a switchboard operator by the Daily Mail in 1938 and retired as the receptionist for Charleston Newspapers in 1987.

He was former assistant superintendent of the Lincoln County Board of Education, a former teacher at Guyan Valley High School, a member of West Hamlin United Methodist Church and of Masonic Lodge 79, Hamlin, a light field artillery staff sergeant during World War II, participated in the Battle of the Bulge and was a recipient of the Purple Heart.
