Thomas Mancari, 78, of Charleston died Wednesday, April 1, 1998, in Washington Center Hospital, Washington.
He retired from Island Creek Stores, was former owner/operator of a community market for 20 years, a member of the Church of Christ and an Army veteran.

BRUNSWICK, Ohio -- Stanley R. Mick, 64, of Brunswick, formerly of Clendenin, W.Va., died Thursday, April 2, 1998, in Brunswick.
He was a graduate of Clendenin High School, a 15-year resident of Ohio and an ironworker at LTV Steel with 33 years of service. He was preceded in death by parents, Fred and Ethel Mick.

GLEN WHITE -- Damon Terrell Harris, 27, of Glen White died Friday, April 3, 1998, at Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, from a gunshot wound, authorities said.
Harris was shot at his residence at 3 a.m. Friday. Beckley police believe Harris may have surprised an intruder and was shot as the suspect attempted to escape.
Harris was a laborer, a Baptist and a graduate of Independent High School.

He was a retired employee of the Federal Manufacturing Corporation with 44 years of service, a member of the Tucson Society of the Blind and a member of the Church of God in Nitro and Tucson.

He was a retired gas measurement foreman from Consolidated Natural Gas Co. with 37 years of service, and an Air Force pilot during World War II.
Surviving: daughter, Sherrie L. Ireland of Columbus, Ohio; sister, Helen Richard of Pennsboro; brothers, Guy Ireland of Pullman, Owen Ireland of Middletown, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.
