She was a native of Calhoun County, W.Va., a former employee of U.S. Ceramic Tile and Creston Methodist Church.

Marvin Ray Covey, 73, of South Charleston died Thursday, April 9, 1998 in Wilkinson Care Home after a long illness.
He was retired counselor from South Charleston High School, a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of South Charleston High School, received his degree in education from Morris Harvey College and his master's degree in counseling from Marshall University and was a member of International Brick Layers and Craft Workers.
Surviving: wife, Virginia Hannah Covey; stepdaughter, Cynthia Lemon of Charleston; sisters, Reva Hartman of South Charleston and Idras Pettry of Virginia Beach, Va., several nieces and nephews.

FAIRFAX, Va. -- Virginia "Ginnie" Gunn Isaac, 77, of Fairfax died Thursday, April 2, 1998, in Fairfax Nursing Center.
She was a longtime resident of Dunbar and Point Pleasant, W.Va., a graduate of Point Pleasant High School, taught dance and was an employee of Corrick Drug Store, Point Pleasant. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Point Pleasant and Chesterbrook Presbyterian Church, McLeon, Va. She was preceded in death by husband, Ben Isaac, a longtime employee of C&P Telephone Co. in Charleston, W.Va.
Surviving: sons, Donna Blosser, David Isaac, Doug Isaac and Denise Heflin; and four grandchildren.

Louise P. Robinson, 95, of Cross Lanes, died Saturday April 11, 1998, at the home of a caregiver, after a long illness.
She attended the Cabin Creek District High School, Mary Baldwin Seminary, Simmons College and the New England Conservatory of Music. She was a biology teacher at East Bank High School and Charleston High School. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Charleston. She was chairwoman of the Women of the Church, Stewardship, Spiritual Growth and the Bible Moderators. She served as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.
Surviving: niece, Betty Ann Coleman of Reston, W.Va.
Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church Chapel with the Douglas Heidt officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later date.

She was past president of Clendenin Women's Club and Clendenin Elementary PTA, a retired employee of Palmer's, the Diamond and Stone & Thomas department stores, former co-owner and operator of Cardinal Dairy Bar. She was a local artist and author of "The Hearts Look Back."

He was a member of the Church of God, Artie, a retired coal miner with 60 years service, a member of the UMWA and was a jail minister with Raleigh County for 16 years.
He was preceeded in death by his fist wife, Virginia D. Runion.
