He attended Columbia University and Purdue University, was an employee of Carnegie Steel Corp., an account executive for Hubbard, Dilley and Hamilton Inc. of New York City. chief executive officer of E.E. Robertson Co., an employee of the state of West Virginia and a member of Kanawha City AA Mustard Seed Group.
Surviving: daughter, Pamela Binnegar; grandson, Michael Hunter Boggs; granddaughter, Julia Bongarzone; two great-grandsons; several nieces and nephews.

He was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and attended the University of Pennsylvania, was co-owner and manager of Wooddell's Jewelry, Beckley, former officer in the State Jewelers Association, a former member of First United Methodist Church, a member of Sons of the American Revolution and a veteran of the Army/Air Corp during World War II.

She was a retired clerk from Kanawha County Magistrate Court, being the first clerk appointed by the state Supreme Court, worked in the office of the Kanawha County Circuit Clerk, was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II and was a member of Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral, Charleston, where she was a eucharistic minister. She was a volunteer for St. Francis Hospital auxiliary.

He was a senior at Miami Sunset High School, where he was captain of the swim team, was an employee of Ross Stores and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Charleston.
