He was a parole officer in Gains and a member of Ypsilanti (Mich.) Missionary Baptist Church. He was a graduate of DuPont (W.Va.) High School.

Evelyn Faigley Holt, 83, of South Charleston died April 21, 1998, in West Florida Hospital, Pensacola, Fla., after a short illness.
She was retired from First Baptist Church, South Charleston, with 22 years' service as church secretary. She was also director of youth for nine years, president and director of the State Guild, president and treasurer of the Kanawha Valley Association of American Baptist Women, and treasurer of the local American Baptist Women. She was First Baptist Church historian, a member of the auxiliary and an active member of Thomas Memorial Hospital Volunteers. She was born in Huntington.
Surviving: daughter, Judith Porter of Pensacola; stepson, Noel Holt of South Carolina; sister, Lucy B. DeZerne of Manassas, Va.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Fredrick A. Kukulski, 83, of Elkview, formerly of Billerica, Mass., died April 23, 1998, in General Division, CAMC, after a long illness.
He was a construction worker and plasterer and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a life member of DAV and the American Legion and a member of Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral, Charleston.

BRENTWOOD, Md. -- Charles M. "Charley" Lowe, 50, of Brentwood, formerly of Elkview, W.Va., died April 23, 1998, in Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring.
He was a Baptist and a retired state employee with 30 years' service. He was one of the first students at Faith Workshop to get a job with the state.

CRAB ORCHARD -- Jason Keith McKinney, 18, of Crab Orchard and Beaver, died April 22, 1998, after apparently jumping from an Interstate 64 bridge.
A spokeswoman for the State Police at Beckley said workers found McKinney's body along a bank of Piney Creek at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. She said the death was ruled a suicide.

He was a retired supervisor from Monongahela National Forest and an employee of the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service with 36 years' service. He was a member of Marlinton (W.Va.)
