CHAPMANVILLE -- Jimmy Wayne Watts, 26, of Chapmanville died Sunday, May 11, 1997, in Logan General Hospital from injuries received after being shot by police, authorities said. Watts was shot by police after a standoff that lasted more than an hour, police said. He was a construction worker.
