She belonged to Maryetta United Baptist Church, Verdunville, where she served as a Sunday school teacher and a member of the Ladies' Circle, Women's Ministries and the choir. She and her family owned and operated Baisden Service Center and Baisden Recycling, Verdunville, for 51 years. Surviving: daughter, Shirley M.
