Marie Caplan Class, 90, of Rockledge, Fla., died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999.
She was born in Aliquippa, Pa., and moved to Florida. She had lived in Morgantown for many years. She was a homemaker and a member of Congregation Ohev Shalom.
She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Schafer, and a granddaughter, Mara Schafer, both of Rockledge.

Georgia McKernan
Georgia Gies McKernan, 72, of Cincinnati, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999.
She was born Feb. 22, 1927.
She is survived by three sons and spouses, Michael McKernan, of Morgantown, Thomas and Linda McKernan, of Kansas City, Mo., and Rick and Renee McKernan, of Cincinnati; two daughters and spouses, Barbara and Ed Holbrock and Patricia and Dan O'Connor, all of Cincinnati; a sister, Marcia Lane, of Cincinnati; a brother, Leo Gies; and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, J.C. Gies.

Bonnie Annalee Stiles
Bonnie Annalee Stiles, 69, of Cortland, Ohio, formerly of Morgantown, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999, at Forum Trumbull Memorial Hospital, in Warren, Ohio.
She was born April 2, 1930, in Diana, daughter of the late Charles McIe and Lela Demastes.
She was retired as a practical nurse. She left Morgantown 45 years ago.
She is survived by a daughter, Sheila D. Stiles, of Nashua, N.H.; a son, Robert Keith Stiles, of Warren; four brothers, James Dolan McIe, of Rockville, Md., William McIe, of College Station, Texas, Jack McIe, of Moyock, N.C., and Paul McIe, of Springfield, Tenn.; two granddaughters and a grandson.
She was also preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Lawrence Ralph Stiles, on July 11, 1999; and four sisters, Helen Karnes, Thelma Fisher, Joyce McIe and Madaline McIe.

Marjorie Ann Hennis
Marjorie Ann Toothman Hennis, 74, of Dogue, Va., died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999, at Mary Washington Hospital, in Fredericksburg, Va.
She was born Sept. 1, 1925, in Farmington, daughter of the late Arthur Gay and Daisy Criss Toothman.
She was a homemaker who spent most of her life in Farmington. At the time of her death, she was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, in King George. She was formerly a member of the East Run United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara L. Beuglass, of King George, Va., and Lois A. Hennis-Crawford, of Reston, Va.; a son, Randall P. Hennis, of King George; three brothers, James E. Toothman, of Lumberport, Danny L. Toothman, of Farmington, and Bobby Joe Toothman, of Williamsburg, Va.; two sisters, Dorothy Wright, of Farmington, and Arlena "Tike" Collins, of Mannington; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Parks Elwood Hennis, on Sept. 17, 1990; two brothers, Rex Toothman and Max Toothman.

Alice Marie "Bebe" Jett Long, 41, of Carolina, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999, at home.
She was born Feb. 23, 1958, in Fairmont, daughter of John Jett, of Worthington, and Elizabeth Singleton Butcher, of Monongah.
She was an employee of Kroger, in Morgantown, and attended Carolina Methodist Church.
She is also survived by two sons and a spouse, William "Butch" and Chastidy Long and Chad Michael Long, all of Worthington; a daughter and spouse, Lena Marie and Jack Ingram, of Anchorage, Alaska; two brothers and spouse, John Jr. and Kathy Jett, and Charlie Jett, all of Worthington; three sisters and two spouses, Janice Kay and Charles Martin, of Worthington, and Susan E. Jett, and her companion, Mike Loss, of Morgantown, and Connie J. and James Haun Jr., of Millersville; a stepbrother, Larry Dalton, o f Carolina; a stepsister, Janice Bane, of Dale City, Va.; a grandson, Caleb Long; her father's second wife, Vi Jett; and several nieces and nephews.

Patricia Ann Stiles
Patricia Ann Stiles, 68, of Van Voorhis Road, Morgantown, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999, at Monongalia General Hospital.
She was born Dec. 20, 1931, in Marion County, daughter of the late Howard and Bessie Layman Hamrick.
She was a member of Suncrest United Methodist Church/Drummond Chapel Campus, in Morgantown. She was an avid volunteer in the Actives of Monongalia General Hospital, starting in 1966, and logged 19,597 hours. She was noted for her knitting work with newborns and developed the Television Volunteer Program. She was president of the Ladies Auxiliary from 1988-89 and was named Volunteer of the Year by North Central District Auxiliary of West Virginia Association in 1985. She was a member of the ladies auxili aries of Morgantown Moose Lodge and VFW Post 548, Morgantown.
She is survived by three daughters and spouses, Patricia and Frank DeWitt, Judy and Alden Bennett Jr. and Anita and Ross Martin, all of Morgantown; a sister, Juanita Russell, of Tucson, Ariz.; a brother, Robert Hamrick, of Morgantown; a stepsister, Ginger Kamuda, of Chicago; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Wayne Stiles, on Sept. 20, 1992; a son, Franklin Wayne Stiles Jr.; two sisters, Bonnie Rea and Rebecca Jean Bonnett; three brothers, Ted Harry, Clyde Edward and Douglas Howard Hamrick; and three grandchildren, Eric Casey Christopher, Jody Michelle Toth and Kimberly Waynett Christopher.

Beau Stewart, 26 days old, of Blue Sky Lane, Morgantown, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999, at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Children's Hospital.
He was born Dec. 4, 1999, in Morgantown, son of Brian Christopher and Cynthia McMurry Stewart.
He is also survived by a brother, Kyle Stewart, of Morgantown; a sister, Kayley Stewart, of Morgantown; paternal grandparents Doug and Yvonne Stewart, of Buckhannon; maternal grandparents, Barbara and Mark Hose, of Morgantown, and Bud and Pricilla McMurry, of Buckhannon.

Michael Thomas Trulos
Michael Thomas Trulos, 83, of Donora, Pa., died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999.
He was born May 30, 1916, in Stores, Utah, son of the late Thomas S. and Aspacia Vrados Trulos.
He attended West Virginia University and was a member of the Labor Study Center at WVU. He retired as director of Manpower Development and Education for the United Mine Workers of America.
He is survived by two nieces, Chris Reedy, of Dallas, and Patti Hamill, of North Canton, Ohio; a nephew, Paul Titangos, of Santa Cruz, Calif.; a brother-in-law, Anthony DeCesare, of New Jersey and a sister-in-law, Angelina Richie, of Pittsburgh; and his friends, the Donald Hibar family, Chuck Large, and Ken Amati and family.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary C. Trulos in 1990 and two sisters, Helen Titangos and Lucille Girardin.

David Frank Mehaulic
Word has been received of the death of David Frank Mehaulic, 51, of Claremore, Okla., formerly of Morgantown, who died Monday, Dec. 6, 1999.
He was born July 22, 1948, in Morgantown, son of the late John and Rosie Mehaulic.
He grew up and attended school in Morgantown. He later moved to Burns, Ore., and then to Claremore working as a repairman in a television repair shop. He played lead guitar with Hank Killian and the Country Cousins, Lloyd Kelly and the Unpredictables and had his own band, The Urban Okies. He was a ham radio operator and a member of the Rogers County Wireless Association and the National Before Breakfast Club.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Miller Mehaulic, whom he married March 27, 1971; five children, Pamela Spears, David Mehaulic, Marie Richard, Debbie Mehaulic, and Robert Richard, all of Claremore; and nine grandchildren, Tylor, Anthony, and Douglas Richard, Jessie and Adam Moffert, Troy Richard, Krystal and Jessica Spears and Sarah Hopkins, all of Claremore.
A service was held in Claremore. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery. Rice Funeral Service in Claremore was in charge of arrangements.
Anne Helen V. Lucas
Anne Helen Voivoda Lucas, 85, of 526A Market St., Millersburg, Pa., formerly of 561 Old Waynesburg Road, Carmichaels, Pa., died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2000, at the Susquehanna Lutheran Village in Millersburg.
She was born Aug. 3, 1914, in Duquesne, Pa., daughter of the late John and Mary Fuzak Voivoda.
She graduated in 1932 from Duquesne High School, where she was an outstanding basketball player. She attended Maison-Frederick Beauty School in Pittsburgh. She was a homemaker. She worked for an early period of her life in the Darling Shop in Pittsburgh. She actively participated in the operations of the Lucas Funeral Home in both Carmichaels and Mount Morris, Pa. She was a volunteer at the Greene County Memorial Hospital in Waynesburg for 28 years. She was a member and past president of the Carmichaels Federated Women's Club and the Emerald Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star in Waynesburg. She was past matron of the Masontown Ideal Chapter Order of the Eastern Star and held several Pennsylvania state appointments. She was a charter member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Carmichaels, where she was a member of the Ladies Aid Society. She was a former Miss Pennsylvania winner in the Miss America pageant. She was formerly a singer with Perry Como on KQV Radio in Pittsburgh.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Lucas, whom she married in February 1939; a daughter and spouse, Georgianna M. and Frederick J. Wiesner, of Monroeville, Pa.; a sister, Martha Kalny, of Freeport, Ill.; five grandchildren, Grant Lucas, Kelly Cheek, Gretchen Wiesner, Brandon Beatty and Sara Lucas; and a great-grandson.
She also was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.

Hallie Blake Poling, 94, of Boyles Street, Grafton, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2000, at Grafton City Hospital.
She was born in Moatsville, Aug. 4, 1905, daughter of the late Arthur and Flora Duckworth Blake.
She was a loving mother and a Methodist.
She is survived by three daughters and two spouse, Nancy Sapp and Eddie Gordon, of Grafton, and Elaine and Tom Mauller, of Grafton, and Barbara Alexander, of Moatsville; two sons and spouses, Arthur and Faye Poling, and Johnny and Thelma Poling, all of Grafton; two sons-in-law, Bub Austin, of Cleveland, and Donald A. Slaton, of Grafton; a brother, Darl Blake, of Sheffield Lake, Ohio; 35 grandchildren and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Jane Austin, and Martha "Mickey" Lou Slaton; a son, Issac "Dow" Poling; two sisters, Callie Brown, and Pansy Phillips; and a brother, Vernon Blake.

John Pershing Mitter
John Pershing Mitter, 80, of Newburg, Chestnut Ridge community, died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999.
He was born Feb. 10, 1919, in Austin, son of the late John "Skinny" and Ella Combs Mitter.
He was employed as a mechanic/electrician at Badger Coal Co. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a lifetime member of Col. Rowan VFW Post 2345 in Tunnelton, UMW Local 4529 and the West End United Brethren Church, where he served as treasurer of the Board of Trustees and was a Sunday school teacher. He enjoyed traveling, camping, gardening and doing mechanical and electrical work.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Pauline Knotts Mitter; two sons and spouses, John Paul and Iva Mitter, of Kingsville, Ohio, and Darrell and Rose Mitter, of Kingwood; two daughters and spouses, Sharlene and Col. James Wiles, of San Antonio, Texas, and Beverly and Steve Shaffer, of Tunnelton; a sister, Freda Deems, of Kingwood; 10 grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a stepgreat-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Mitter, and two sisters, Marie Williams and an infant, Patricia Ann Mitter.

Flora Jean Kittle
Flora Jean Kittle, 63, of Fairmont, died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.
She was born Aug. 24, 1936, at Montana Mines, daughter of the late George and Anna Marion Sheranko Poling.
She was a homemaker and mother, always willing to help others. She enjoyed cards, bingo, and fishing. She was a dog lover, especially her dogs, Toby and Taz.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Delbert Warren Kittle, whom she married Feb. 11, 1954; four children and spouses, Delbert W. Jr., and Sandra Kittle, of Monongah, Dale Ann and Ronald Mays, of Fairmont, Kevin Kyle and Debra Kittle, of Barrackville, and Mary Jane Wolfe, of Philippi; a brother and spouse, George and Doris Poling, of Fairmont; a sister, Betty Carpenter, of Fairmont; 16 grandchildren, Christina Mays, Ronald L. Mays II, Donna Cottrell, Douglas Kittle, Mark Kittle, Debrah Kittle, Sh awn Kittle, Rebel Kittle, April Kittle, Wanda Kittle, Kevin Kyle Kittle II, Caressa Wolfe, Ashley Wolfe, Bryan Wolfe II, Ami Wolfe, and Anastacia Wolfe; and three great-grandchildren, Summer Mays, Tyler James Mays and Michael Paul Cottrell.

Iva R. McKinney
Iva R. McKinney, 82, of Diana Drive, Fairmont, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2000, at home.
She was born Aug. 10, 1917, in Brave, Pa., daughter of the late Fred and Blanche Watson Rose.
She was a member of Baptist Temple Church in Fairmont, where she was in the Kendricks Circle. She was employed at McCrory's Department Store. She was an employee of Westinghouse in Fairmont as a line worker, gauger and cutter. She later worked for Singer Sewing as a seamstress. She also was an artist and enjoyed cooking.
She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Bleigh, of Fairmont; a sister, Susanna Rose Byard, of Pittsburgh; two grandchildren and spouse, Kelly Lee Bleigh, of Fairmont, and Marc R. and Roberta Bleigh, of Elkins; and two great-grandchildren, Alex and Matthew Weber, of Elkins.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Willa Cage and Jayne Cole, and her first husband, Herbert S. Snyder.
A memorial service will be held at Ford Funeral Home, 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, with the Rev. Holley Faulkner officiating. Sara E. Taylor
Sara E. Taylor, 80, of Breakiron Hill Road, Morgantown, died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999 at her home.
She was born Sept. 28, 1919 in Sutersville, Pa., daughter of the late Daniel and Esther Farmer Collier.
She was formerly of Versailles, Pa., where she was a member of the Linway United Presbyterian Church. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Alice Taylor, of Morgantown; two sons and a spouse, Charles and Kim Taylor, of Wilmerding, Pa., David Taylor, of Morgantown; and two grandsons, Richard and Brian Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold C. Taylor; and one brother, Alfred Collier.

Charles Lambert Kelley
Charles Lambert Kelley, 71, of Route 1, Thornton, Taylor County, died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, at Columbia Basin Hospital, Ephrata, Wash., after a brief illness.
He was born March 25, 1928, in Maidsville, son of the late Fred Lambert and Goldie Hazel Auvil Kelley.
He was a retired over-the-road truck driver. He was Methodist.
He is survived by two sons, Michael P. Kelley, of Tunnelton, Fred Kelley, of Fairmont; two daughters, Arlene Harper, of French Creek, and Carolyn Payne, of Bellview, Neb.; a brother, Hayward Kelley, of Thornton; a sister, Thelma Poling, of Pursglove, with whom he had stayed for several months prior to a trip to Washington; nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Kelley and Harwood Kelley, and by two infant sisters.

Kathrine Virginia Moore, 76, of Clinton Township, Mich., and formerly of Taylor County, Simpson community, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999, at The Mount Clemens General Hospital in Mount Clemens.
She was born in Simpson, Aug. 10, 1923, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Mineli Trocino.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was Catholic, and the late surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived by a daughter and spouse, Joyce and Donald Piotrowski, of Clinton Township; a son and spouse, Robert O. and Joan Moore, of Aster, Fla.; six grandchildren, Chrissy, Cherri, Cindy, Robert, Deidre, and Billy; and four great-grandchildren, Alicia, Mikey, Gino, and Alex.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlin R. Moore; three brothers, Joe Trocino, Dominic Trocino, and Jimmy Trocino; and four sisters, Angeline T. Moore, Rose Jordan, Mary D'Orazio, and Rosella Whitehair Karle.

James H. Schertzinger
James H. Schertzinger, 75, of Morgantown, died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, at home.
He was born March 27, 1924, in Morgantown, son of the late Walter and Sarah Schertzinger.
He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Morgantown, and he was a graduate of Morgantown High School. He started out as a delivery person with Western Union when he was a young man. He was a former coal miner, and retired from Boeing Industries in Seattle, as an administrator. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Army.
He is survived by a son, Terry Hawkins, of Wheeling; a stepdaughter and spouse, Elaine and Gar Johnson, of California; and Anne, Brian and Sharon Lewis.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Smith Hawkins Schertzinger.

She was born March 1, 1923, in Newburg, daughter of the late Nathan Henry and Clarice Joann Loughrie McDaniel.
She was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother, and attended Newburg United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Woodrow Wilt, whom she married June 3, 1946; a son and spouse, Bruce and Rebecca Wilt, of Newburg; three brothers, Adam "Skip" McDaniel, and Nathan Loye McDaniel, both of Newburg, and Fred McDaniel, of Philippi; two sisters, Nancy Elizabeth Minton, and Mary Lou Wolfe, both of Newburg; a grandson, Cody Wayne Wilt, of Newburg; and a sister-in-law, Josephine McDaniel.

She was born March 5, 1920, in Hamilton, daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah Wotring Arnold.
She and her husband owned and operated Knotts Taxidermy in Capon Bridge. She was a member of the Mount Olive Lutheran Church and the Sunshine Club in Lantz Ridge, in Preston County.
She is survived by her husband, Mervin F. Knotts, whom she married Nov. 20, 1936; four sons, Mervin Garland Knotts, of Charles Town, Dale David Knotts, of Atlanta, Allen R. Knotts, of Winchester, Va., and John Chamblin, of Bloomery; three daughters, Betty Lipscomb, of Augusta, Carol Poling, of Capon Bridge, and Linda Meade, of High View; a brother, Charles Arnold, of Hamilton; 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Giffin Funeral Home, Capon Bridge, from 7-9 p.m. Monday. Service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, with the Rev. George Reed officiating. Esther Mae Pryor
Esther Mae Pryor, 84, of Fairmont, died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, at Fairmont General Hospital.
She was born in Marion County, July 26, 1915, daughter of the late Charles Edward and Goldie Martin Welch.
She was retired from Owens Illinois Glass in Fairmont, after 23 years of service in the packing department. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and the Quarter of a Century Club, for retirees of Owens. She enjoyed sewing, quilting. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived by a stepson and spouse, Harold "Buddy" and Terry Pryor, of Keswick, Va.; three stepgrandchildren; several nieces and nephews, including Eva Mae and Rev. Dr. Ralph Carpenter, of Fairmont.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence I. Pryor, Feb. 8, 1981; three sisters, Lillian Ansel, Georgie Marlowe, and Doris Jean Welch; and two brothers, Brady Welch, and Gilbert Welch.

Lesa Suzanne Baylor
Lesa Suzanne Baylor, 35, of Kingwood, died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
She was born Feb. 21, 1964, in Grafton, daughter of Ruby Pratt Baylor, of Kingwood and the late Harold L. Baylor.
She was a graduate of Central Preston High School, a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie 2391 Ladies Auxiliary, and was employed as an associate at Ames Department Store in Kingwood for 14 years.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a very special friend, Willie Heiskell, of Kingwood; her grandmother, Alfreda Baylor, of Newburg; two brothers and a spouse, Richard and Pam Baylor, of Kingwood and Charles Baylor, of Tunnelton; a sister and spouse, Nancy and Chris Dakon, of Tunnelton; a niece, Megan Dakon and three nephews, Matthew Dakon, Bobby Baylor, and Jason Baylor.
Friends may call at James G. Lobb Funeral Home in Kingwood, from 3-9 p.m. Sunday and from 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 3, until the 1 p.m. service with Pastor Tim Slaughter officiating.
